I used to have Qik video chat, and it worked like a charm. recently, i believe when i flashed ICS, the only version i can find in the market is Qik LITE. the lite version is exactly the same but i can ONLY use while on wifi. can someone please link the Qik Video Chat apk?

I contacted Qik a couple of weeks ago to find out why only the Lite version is available for ICS and was told that their main app has yet to be optimized for ICS and until such time will not be available for the Vivid.
They told me to keep checking Google Play from time to time and though they didn't offer an ETA for release...they used the standard dis "coming soon".

anyone got a working link to the android mini golf beta apk ?
i cant find the game on the market anymore and all the weblinks ive tried end up in 'page cannot be displayed'.
(and the links suggesting they must be opened on the android device, dont work since the beta doesnt seem to be on the marketplace)
One page suggested the paid version is now available, but cant find anything on the marketplace or linked developers website.

still cant find it in the UK marketplace. I've since acquired the beta version again from a friendly forum member, but am happy to buy full version off marketplace if/when it turns up in uk.
Hi, is anyone seeing the new HTML5 mobile youtube site that Google showed off for android and iphone? I'm still seeing the old one, with no HQ button and star ratings. I'm on froyo. Is it only available in the US?

I've had my Incredible S for 3 days now and I absolutely love it.

I downloaded the Skype app too but there doesnt seem to be an option for a cam on that either. Maybe that is dependant on the OS too as I'm sure I read somewhere that video calling was possible with Skype.
No option for sending video on Skype for me either, but Video calling using Tango is great (except for some reason my send video is upside down !). Tango is great, and its cross platform.

So Froyo doesn't support video calling?
I can't believe they shipped the phone knowing that one of its main features would be unusable.
I guess i'll have to wait for the Q2 update.
Out of curiosity, is there any way to access the front-facing camera just for taking photos etc?

Yes, You can go into the camera app & click on settings. There is an option there to switch to front facing camera.
There's many programs to make video call.
Search on market for:

I just got my incredible s for a day and I download named tmboile qik app from market it can making video chat I just video chat with my friend working find but it need both have that app installed in the phone.
Yeah sorry I meant officially on stock applications....not supported yet.....

That statement was made by a customer service rep. I don't trust it.
Right now, I don't even believe in the September release, unless Dell (Dell themselves, not their customer service) states there is a release, or I see a picture, or something along those lines. I have learned not to trust their support reps.

Wouldn't be by a customer service rep, Streaksmart (which is where the info came from) stated they got it from a trusted source, and they have been pretty reliable.
If you want to voice your opinion and try and push for a response from dell take 3 minutes and pop a post here:

nah - its gonna happen - confirmed several websites around September - I have all the nvflash files to stock in idle for this.....hopefully a working neflix with both camera working and working GPS LOL....
Netflix already works on stock with camera, but there can be a/v sync issues. As long as you don't resume a video or timeshift you won't notice though.
Can you share how to make Netflix work with stock Rom? Thanks.

so YouTube has been announced and is slowly rolling out in India. YouTube goes seems to be a viable Tubemate replacement with all the little bugs that crop up in tubemate. YouTube Go will seemingly be for videos only but we'll hope that changes since it's has not launched yet.

ArkTube is nice but it's also a paid app. YouTube Go will be free on launch.
Edit--I should've read a little more. I was thinking this is a 3rd party app but I was off. Thinking this wont be available in the USA?

Hmmm it's possible considering the purpose of the app but either way we can just grab the apk once it's available and reap the same benefits.
cuz to be honest, I can't afford an unlimited plan so using Youtube Go on WiFi would be just perfect!
