so i have the HTC vivid which is att service. i got the StraightTalk service plan which lets me use any unlocked or locked att phones. i was trying to change the APN info to straightalks info and it says it was locked i called att and they said that htc is locked with att's service and they cant unlock the internet for me. the lady i spoke to said that i could have someone unlock it for me and it might work. does any body know how to unlock this phone for free? or unlock the internet apn so i can enter straighttalks apn info??

If the OP wanted to add a apn, then they should stay on gingerbread. ICS doesn't allow for that anymore.

Yes it does, it does not let you add apn from 3rd party apps but you can add it manually

After an hour I noticed that my internet were slow. So I tested my data speed again and got this:
And I was like wtf? So I tested it again and it were the same... So does this mean that I have to flash a new radio?
Rom: Inferno sense
S-OFF
Root
4ext recovery
I never changed the radio. So it should be the newest one from the original ota update sense 3.0.
Thanks!

What do you mean?
i don't think its because of the radio. did the signal bars drop out suddenly? if not then i think your radio is fine. you problem maybe due to some network congestion

If you're on a custom rom try flashing something else, if you're not, you have a damaged digitizer. Give it some time, it might go away, it might not.

But the N4 isn't sim locked or SW modified in any way, regardless of where you get it... (except for having Wallet disabled in UK I suppose)
right ive been watching the n4 forum since the launch fiasco. I failed to order one that day and have been reading about all the hassel to save $100. Tmos website has been out of stock and normally stores dont have any... but this one did!

You sure know an awful lot don't you? Tmo's N4s are not locked or branded in any way. Quit spreading misinformation.

I actually signed a pre-order agreement back on 5/2/13 with the understanding that the order would be entered when stock was available to be shipped. I figured someone else may have been told the same thing and may have also gotten this same email. Like most folks here, I'm anxious to get my hands on this device.
Oh OK. Well theres a sprint HTC one section. You probably will get more responses there

Damn! How did I not know there was a separate forum for Sprint devices? Thanks for the tip.

1st FIRST all credit goes to Fenny @Fenny for finding this. I am just sharing credit to Felonny

Title says it. If you were like me and tried to tether on tmobile you interrupted by the web page saying h*ttp://*offers.t-mobile.*com/tethering/upsell.do?source=pcweb. With the mod you will be able to bypass that on the sprint variant aswell. Just follow the directions in the thread created by Fenny. I confirm this does work on my "sph-l720 t-mo 50 unlimited.
In his post he says -
"This was built off of MDL, but should work with pretty much any version of the Stock TW firmware.
Simply replace this file in /system/app in your deodexed rom, set perms to rw- r-- r-- (644) and ensure that SELinux is set to permissive."
