Hi,
I'll buy a new Galaxy S but it's coming from Algeria. It can be used with every sim. I heard like that, seller told me. Cause I haven't bought yet. So, can i install any firmware?
This is emergency topic. Please guys..

Hi,
I've bought a samsung Galaxy Note from Expansys-USA, unfortunately, the phone stopped working. Now, I doesn't turn on. I've tried every method, last step is to send for a repair, however I've sent an email to Expansys and no reply. I've called them, they told me to contact Samsung. Does Samsung USA help on international version Galaxy Note.
I need a clue here, please help me out of this, I'm missing my phone already.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini that was brought to me because the user was experiencing trouble connecting to the T-mobile network. There would be cell service for about an hour, after which all service would be lost. The problem is reported to have started after performing an update a few weeks ago, which the user thinks was a firmware update. Now, the phone receives no cell service at all. I should also add that the phone was purchased through Groupon, and because of that they were told (by T-mobile) that they'd have to send the phone to China if they want it fixed.
Now this is where it starts getting pretty complicated. First, I tried checking the phone's IMEI number on imei.info. The result shows a Motorola W375 flip phone, not the Galaxy S3. I'm not sure what this means. Secondly, the model number of the phone is GT-I8200L which means that it's for the Latin American market. But it was working for 2 months, so I'm guessing it's not an issue with the hardware?
I'm pretty tech-savvy, but I'm by no means an expert when it comes to fixing phones, so I have no idea what to do at this point. The phone doesn't appear to be unlocked, since my (non-T-mobile) SIM card doesn't work. I'm finding lots of articles for things like "flashing firmware" and whatnot, but I don't know whether this would help. Maybe it's a lost cause at this point?
I'd greatly appreciate any help!
Its a known problem with a Samsung update! There must be a new OTA update from Samsung! Try this!

Thanks for your reply! But there seems to be no new updates. It says that the latest updates are already installed. The Android version is 4.2.2.
Where you from?

Hi guys!
I bought a new S3 Mini two days ago from an online company as a Pay as you go phone it came with a Vodaphone top up sim and i have no use for the sim as ive got a contract/pay monthly sim already i just needed a new phone, Anyways ive received it and its locked to Vodaphone WTH?? its a PAYG phone why have they locked it? Anyways as its the new type S3 mini "GT-i8200N" (Faster CPU) ive been looking for a way to sim unlock it without using these dodgy online companies as my brother paid for some company online to unlock his phone and they started buying items all over the world with his Card details so for this reason i wont use any sites online! so i wondered if there is a way around this and does anyone know how please?

Hi, everyone.
Few weeks ago, I bought a SM-N950F in Mexico, but I have to move to US and I want to use it with my AT&T sim I had.
Can I switching the rom of SM-N950U1 on it?
If so, what I have to think about?
Thanks for your attention.
Nope, different CPU. You'll end up bricking your phone...

no you cant, only way is to get a sim card and this is for all carrier models. This is the reason why you buy LG's factory unlocked phone made from them and not branded.
