For news junkies, check out News360 for Honeycomb. I played around with it for a few minutes and seems pretty nice:

Check the description for the app in the market. It explains it better than I can. I like the 360 degree view where photos of news stories scrolls across the screen and you can tap it to see the news story. The other nice feature is for each news story, you get links to other sources for the same story.

I love this app on the iPad. It is organized into key news stories of the day and allows you to read the coverage from dozens of different sources on each story. It can be really fascinating to note the tone and attitudes towards each story change as you go from paper to paper and country to country. It is a MUST for news junkies.
I am really excited this has come to Android.
Really nice looking app.
For me though I use pulse because the offline functionality is really great. I need it for subway rides.
This seems like its only as useful as the active data connection it has, but man, really beautiful.
great app for news!!
This is a very cool application, really makes great use of the screen real estate that the tablet offers.
Tried this app out and am liking it. Thanks.

I have used swype, swiftkey, t9, better keyboard, even that ridiculous rotary keyboard.
I am a keyboard geek (among other flavors of geek).
I gotta say, A.I. Type keyboard (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.aitype.android) is simply amazing.
It seems smarter than swiftkey and is completely customizable. (Background images, colors, layout, even keyboard type (iphone, windows 7, gingerbread among others).

My keyboard of choice right now,,,
Is TouchPal Curve. Was lucky enough to get my hands on the beta and have been loving it every since.
Gonna give the one you mentioned a try, never know if its better for me till I check it out.
Twas not lucky enough roger the curve invite. But widget t9 AND swype for free from amazon. (Free is my favorite color :-D)

I like this new keyboard! I'm not a fan of the swyping technology even though I have touchpal curve.
This keyboard's service runs 22 MB though! Don't know if that's normal but that seems like it may drain battery.

Just tested out A.I Type as my landscape keyboard. Pretty dang good!!! Opened u my note pad and just started typing without looking back. 100% accurate over 30 lines of text. Swype and Touchpal Curve have never come that close for me!!!

After reading various reviews about this keyboard, i've decided to stay away from it. Some users have reported huge battery drains. Aside from this, it appears that every keystroke is uploaded to the developer's cloud server, with no explanation given. Sounds like a keylogger to me.

I also was able to get a beta copy of this TouchPal keyboard, but for some reason it conflicted with my hardware keyboard by disabling my shift and "secodary yellow" button :\ and since I'm a big keyboard user, that was my only reason to uninstall that keyboard. I'll admit, it seems better than swype, but again, I use my hardware keyboard 75% of the time n I kinda can't live without my shift and yellow keys

Android wasn't initially developed by Google. And Chrome didn't even exist until 3 years after Google bought Android. So it really wasn't possible. I'm sure it has been the plan to move Chrome to Android for quite some time but it isn't an easy task.
they should just replace the stock Android browser with Chrome
*tears

I agree and hope Google replaces the stock Android browser with Chrome in the Ice Cream Sandwich OS
Browsing around in the app I think ever since the overhaul all the pages/sections of the app are html based... Before in older versions it seemed more responsive and part of the app, now everything is less integrated and more html to my eyes...

In my opinion the Facebook app has always sucked horribly. I have had it rated one star ever since I had my HTC G1. They have a lot to do to improve it and the dev support just seems to not be there, they are more into updating the iOS version assuming everyone is happy with the half ass android version.

The fact that the mobile version looks just like the ios app proves your point of them being more focused on playing with apples.... Sucks

Just use the mobile version of the site. Much better.
agree, facebook does suck, but its still one of the better ways to communicate...although i dont know why the FB developers always try to "improve somethin"...because it always ends like a catastrophy

Hey Galaxy Ace I Users,
I only want to share some good news - Firefox has released their browser officially for our phone. You are able to get Firefox at the Play Store if you like to.
Edit your topic to "Firefox Browser". Such headers give us false hopes. And there was no need to say that by creating a new thread. You could have Shared it in the off topic thread. Anyway, Goodnews
If this thing will boot , I'll root.

That's a bit far fetched.
And Firefox always stood for Firefox Browser, just because Firefox OS got released a while ago doesn't mean the Browser should be explicitly specified as such.
I mean, am I supposed to say "Normal squared glass windows" every time I talk about my apartment's windows just so people don't think I'm talking about MS Windows? Use common sense.

It's not a lightweight browser, just because it doesn't fit your needs doesn't mean Mozilla is crazy.
Also, Chrome is around 20-25 MB as well, FYI.

20.95MB (APK) + 2.24MB (Dex) + ~0.3MB (Lib).
There was an issue (?) in the FF nightlies where the data size would climb to ~20MB, not sure if it's still the case. Currently it's about 3MB on my phone.
