I have a SPH-P100 tablet with a broken digitizer and LCD.
I've been looking around for a replacement and came across two sites.
This one advertises the LCD and digitizer fitting ALL carrier models.
It's basically saying there's one LCD and one digitizer for all models.
http://eyworkshops.ecrater.com/p/10276826/oem-samsung-andriod-galaxy-tab
This site has one that says P1000 model.

What I'm trying to find out is if there is just one LCD and digitizer for all 7 inch tablets
OR if the P1000 will work with the P100.
Thanks for any help in advance guys.

I have tattoo but my lcd is broken , so i wanna to buy it , price , some where i can find it or ???
i am looking also for a new screen; anyone?
there are both digitisers and LCDs in ebay ... but be careful when shopping there
also I've seen a few other websites offer LCDs or Digitizers or both but they were like 2-3 times the price,
what is the difference between a lcd and a digitizer?
i just wanna replace my screen because there a some scratches on it.
what is good price for it?
the digitizer is on top of the LCD display
when you touch your phone you touch the digitizer and it digitizes your finger's input and that's what you can scratch really.
since the LCD is below there are different problems with it - I think there can be burned pixels, etc. but there can't be any scratches.
3-4 months ago a pair of LCD+digitizer+screwdrivers was round $30-50 and I've just checked it - prices are the same right now
by checking for the digitizers right now it looks like they are going round $7-$11
I would personally buy from one of the $10 sellers with good feedback and lots of items sold similar to this one (first result in my ebay page though )

price is 44$ but im not sure was original or not
i can not trust any body
Hi,
is there any information available how to change the digitizer?
I just sent it to HTC care and they fixed it. Working as before.
Hi, the other day I dropped my Galaxy S I9000 on the concrete and shattered the digitizer. The screen still works alright and the touch portion of the screen still works 100%, but there's a few big cracks in the screen.
Optus want to charge me $150+ (I don't have insurance on it plus it's "out of warranty" because I flashed 2.2 on it) while a repairman in Melbourne quoted $150 neat (but couldn't do it because their main tech was away). I've seen a few sellers on eBay selling these parts for $99 with a mini toolkit but I'm not sure if they are the Super AMOLED that is in the original phone or just an LCD screen that may or may not have the same resolution or quality
Has anyone replaced the screen on an I9000? From what I can gather, the screen and the digitizer are one so you can't buy a digitizer only. I've also seen that the connecting ribbon on the phone is glued into place and you must be very careful when removing it.
Any thoughts are welcome. I can still use the phone just fine, but I don't want to risk any further damage to the screen.

digitizer only available here
I had the same problem. Found this but haven't had it delivered or tried to fix it yet. You managed to find/fit one yet? I'm worried that it will be had to separate the screen and digitizer, will let you know how i get on.

On HTC XL it is imposible to change digitizer only .I just try to repair myself and ruined semi usable phone with cracked but fully working glass. Touch digitizer screen and lcd are (unlike some other models) GLUED together.!.
So sellers who sell digitizer only for 30$ are essentialy fakers, not telling you that it is imposible to change Digitizer only. But for 30$ many try and both throw that money and render phone totaly unusable. So they must buy whole LCD +TOUCH assembly that is much expensive. now about 150$ .
TIP: If you have cracked SXL - use it that way if you can (like me 30day with almost no problems) or buy whole assembly. No middle here
I can also confirm this, I had a semi cracked screen, phone still 100% usable and changed the digitizer screen not realizing the LCD was actually attached to the digitizer. Phone is now completely useless. This leaves sites selling the digitizer replacements selling items that are useless. My only option now is to buy a new LCD and digitizer replacement for around £90 in the UK or buy a non HTC one for £55 from Hong Kong.

You can separate the digitiser from the LCD by heating the face of the phone with a hairdryer which softens the glue. You then run a non-marring pry tool around the phone to separate the two.
Messy with a very good chance of cracking the LCD, but it can be done. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1585909
I guess the shopkeeper wasn't scamming me when he said the digitizer can't be remove on this set
Hi guys
So I saw this long thread on replacing the digitizer for the HTC Sensation. It says you need to get the (model?) numbers off the digitizer and match it to a replacement digitizer. If they don't match, it says the phone may lag considerably. I heard about the calibration tool and flashing a new ruu to fix issues, but I wasn't sure if that meant any digitizer will do.
Here is my digitizer model number on the ribbon.
I had two questions: Is this the case for the HTC Sensation XL and what numbers should I be quoting eBay sellers in order to find a match?
I intend to buy the LCD and digitizer together as both were cracked.
There are quite a few digitizer + LCD combos with a wide price disparity between them. Here's an eBay Australia listing.
I suppose I would buy this one if it were suitable.
Thanks and apologies if my searching failed to find the answer on another thread.
Hi,
I dropped my s3 i9305, the glass cracked and the screen turned black. I’ll need to replace the LCD Screen Touch Digitizer Assembly. On eBay there are loads of Digitizers for the i9300 but very few for the i9305. Does anyone know if both these digitizers are identical? In other words, can I use an i9300 digitizer to replace my i9305 one?
Thanks for any advice.
Hi, the lcd from an i9300 does work but it is the middle housing that is slightly different ( I have just tried this) as the motherboards are not exactly alike.
