I was trying to flash the stock rom back over GV2.0 and something got hosed and I ended up with what looked like Stock v7....but I still have SU, but no CWM.
So I installed CWM from the marketplace, then tried to book into recovery from there, but now it won't go past the "LG" screen.
What can I do to fix this??
Even after I try to wipe it by holding down the power and volume down buttons, it still just stays on the LG screen.....

You cant install cwm from market, you cant install cwm from rom manager because it technically does not exist for this phone you can however install cwm using mts allinone...found in dev section. if rooted then follow mts easiest way to update to zv8 rooted in dev section

There'd be no point in installing cwm atm because he needs help to get his phone out of what he did which when he does he'll be in test mode. OP try contacting mtmichaelson or going to the irc chat #lgrevolution

Yeah I did. Here is a screenshot from LGNPST after I get it installed, is this how it's supposed to look?
http://i.imgur.com/HmpP1.png
Ended up giving up (I don't think my phone was even booting far enough for LGNPST to discover it via USB).
I went into my Verizon store, played stupid, and am now getting a new (aka: refurbished) Revolution.

ok so here's what I did to royally screw up things on my tablet. I had installed the latest Streakdroid ROM and wasn't getting any data connection at all though it showed on the taskbar at the top that I did. I decided I was going to follow the steps in the thread that had the instructions on how to bring back to factory settings so I can start fresh. I had gotten to the part where I was about to execute the fastboot command and my computer never detected that the tablet was hooked up at that point. Now when I go into recovery, I have the stock recovery loader that dell put in and the streakdroid rom's wifi doesn't work so I can't do anything at all. not even download a file explorer to install the rom manager or anything...i'm afraid that I've really screwed things up. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Reflash cwr. Then flash another rom you flash a stock build that wiped cwr and replaced it with stock. Your fine.

alright so I managed to use nvflash to restore it and it worked. I still have a problem with data but I'm thinking now it's more of an issue with T-Mobile than it is my tablet. wifi works fine.

There is some work being done by myself and PlayfulGod right now. We have a partially/fully working ClockWorkMod Recovery (everything works, but reboots at 2 min and 15 sec). There has also been 2 overclocked kernels built for it (1 thrown together by me very quickly, and a nicer build by PG). If you would like to participate you should come join the irc channel as nothing has been released publicly yet, and won't be until a properly working recovery is complete.

What exactly do you mean by USB mass storage not working? Does it mean you can't plug the phone in to a computer and use your SD card like that? Or does it mean you can't use a SD card in your phone at all?
I ask because I'm looking to do this to my gf's phone, and the former is acceptable, but the latter is not. Thanks for any response.

This is how I did it, it and it worked. Hold volume + and -, then press and hold power. Continue to hold volume + and -, and when the first LG screen pops up, quickly press power three times (not sure if necessary three times or one, but it said three at the top). A screen will pop up that says clear data and restore (Once this pops up, you can release the volume buttons). Press power to confirm (IT WILL NOT CLEAR DATA). Press power again to confirm once more. After this, CWM will start up.
I don't think XDA will ever do a section for a MetroPCS phone. I don't know what it is with XDA and MetroPCS. I don't think it's XDA, but just people don't talk MetroPCS here.

Sorry for the delay.
I managed to flash GB with the LG Flash Tool.
No root for it though.
For your case, it seems as if the computer is having trouble locating the device.
"adb devices" didn't pull up anything.
Can you flash a file with the LG Flash tool?
If so, download V10C_00.kdz and flash that.
Then root and install ClockworkMod Recovery.
I just did that.
EDIT: Acutally. Turn on Team Viewer.
My Thrill is hanging at the LG logo when I turn it on. I'm able to get into recovery mode but wiping the data doesn't help. It just hangs at the logo again once I reboot. Anyone know what I could try?

Fix LG boot hangups
If you get your phone stuck in the LG boot screen, go to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1491870,
Posted by The Dark Lestat, and start from step 3 LG Flash Tool. I bricked mine, but using The Dark Lestats wisdom flashed V20P_00.kdz to my phone, and viola, my Thrill is now running GB.
THANK YOU "The Dark Lestat", I am in love with My Thrill again knowing that there is a dev like you working with the Thrill.
Backdrop:
1) Phone from a friend took over his contract.
2) Attempted to reset to default
3) Phone will only boot to CWM 4.0.0.2
Tried:
1) All parts of http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=19154278
The 'tot' files would not install, got 'block count' errors
2) Found mtmichaelson's RevoZV7GBStock.zip... It had a successful install (yay) but it still boots to CWM (boo)
3) Grabbed mtmichaelson's GingerVolt 2.0, downloaded it, it successfully installed (yay) but booted to CWM (boo)
4) Also have used LGPNST with no success
Conclusion: HELP!!
I can install certain ROMs but it is as if the bootloader does not doesn't load. Maybe something needs to be set, like Windows needs that "Primary Disk - Boot" information...
I have 7 days, and then I'm paying my termination fee before the next bill date.
I will appreciate any help or suggestions.
Thanks everyone!
