[Q] Voice sounds Distorted during telephone conversations?

Hi,
I have had my Samsung i9000 for about 2 months now and really like it, I think its a great phone...
I just made a call about an hour ago and noticed that when I pressed the call button to make the call, and heard the call/ring tone, it sounded very distorted (as if the speaker was buzzing? but distortion decribes it better).
I have made a few calls since then to check this and its happening all the time during calls now....
Whats weird is that when I play an mp3 & put it on loudspeaker, the sound is perfectly clear??
Does anyone have this "incall distortion" problem or experience it before?
Are there any know fixes for this?
Really appreciate all comments/help with this folks...
Thanks
Dave
Bump... Still have this problem folks, can anyone help me out here?
Had this with a new SGS and got it changed (within the 14 days period).
Yep, been contemplating sending it to samsung, complaints my voice is unclear too.
The earpiece noise I believe is from the antenna, faulty shielding perhaps.

Buzzing during a phone call (to one contact)

Hi
Sorry if this is a really dumb question.
I get a buzzing noise while on the phone to one contact.
Is this a problem on my end or theirs? I'm assuming it's theirs as I don't seem to have a problem with any other phone calls.
It's such a bad loud noise that I seriously can't hear anything the contact says but they can hear me perfectly fine.
Is there anyway of boosting phone call signals or something to try and fix this on my end?
Thanks
If its unique to one contact then I would suggest that its the other end thats duff....

Low earpiece volume while in call verizon moto x

Hi everyone. While on a call I can barely hear the other person no matter what I do. I turn the call volume all the way up and the sound stays the same. Otherwise this phone works great, Should I take it back to verizon?
I'm having the same problem, have to move my ear around to hear and the fact that my battery goes from 4% to 90% in 1 min and now charges when it wants to .... So I'll go back to my lg g3

I just got the phone today and have same issue, other than that phone is great. Have you found a solution or did you exchange it?

after some time I got use to it. I think its the covering on the top speaker that makes the volume so low. After re positioning my ear I can hear it well enough but I still wish it was a bit louder.
That being said, I find no fault in this phone, its gorgeous and really fast and comes with no frills android experience so I decided to stick it out

[Q] Mic on my phone stopped working

When I get phones calls people can't hear me but I have no problems hearing them. So is there anything I could try that probably could fix this problem ? I'm rooted also.
you damaged your front mic. only way for them to hear you is when you put your phone on speaker, which allows the phone to use the noise canceling mic
i can call people on htc desire 510 or when they call me i can hear them perfectly, but when i put my phone on loud and i get a message or someone rings me it only vibrates, no sound! when i want to listen to music it only works with the headphones , its really weird can anyone help?

In-Call Voice Problem

When someone calls me (or I call someone), I wouldn't be able to hear them unless I'm in a quiet room, like a closet. The person says he can hear me clearly, but I can barely hear the person. What's the issue and how can I fix this?
Currently possessing cyanogenmod for htc one mini 2 (I believe v 12.~)
Never mind, I solved the issue by scraping the speakers with a toothbrush. I was surprised how any dirt came off.
