[Q] Music Apps No Longer Have Internet Connectivity - Captivate Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I've noticed that Pandora and Digitally Imported Music are no longer able to access the internet. I can't figure out what it could be. All other applications which require online access like the browser are functioning well. I have flashed various ROM's to see if that would fix it but to no avail. Have any of you gone through something like this? All comments welcome.

If you have data/wifi access and the app isn't connecting, and the same issue happens with multiple ROMs, chances are it is a bug in the app.

[Q] Newly rooted 1.2 nook color - did I do it wrong?

So, bought a nook color yesterday. It came loaded with 1.2, and the first thing I did after registering is root. No custom ROM, but have superruser and official Android Market access. I can even install a few apps. However, there are a few that I expected to see (Kindle, Astro in particular) that dont show up via a specific search for them in the Market. Did I do something wrong? Did I somehow half-root this? Any thoughts would be appreciated!
There are issues with the market after rooting. One of the devs seems to have finally figured it out (apparently it's been quite a ***** to sort out), but he's validating it before publishing it.
Same problem
I have the same problem with the market place. Where will the fix be posted?
After manual rooting Calendar issues
After doing the manual root the one application that seems to be the trouble for me is Calendar. The Google Calendar does not allow to add an account calendar to use. I have tried several other applications with no luck either. One indicates there is a issue synch information.
Then the other minor issue is within the Market has been fun. While in the Market it will decide to either go back a screen, go to the main area of the Market or exit completely out of the Market. That created issue when I was in the middle of downloading an application.
Any suggestions? The Calendar is more important but it would be nice to get both issues resolved.
This worked great for me.

The Calendar issue was resolved with CalenGoo. It is able to synch and update information.
Market is getting better with the steps.
Let the fun begin.
found this
this worked partly for me. shows all the apps now, but they still wont install. ha

App Enabling On Their Own - Solved

I just noticed in the past couple of days apps I have always kept disabled will no longer stay that way. These are Sony apps such as Lifelog and SmartConnect, as well as Google apps such as Play Games and Play Movies.
This has not been a problem for me until now. Anyone else with this new issue? Any suggestions? This device is stock, no root.
Solved: I added a new user and discovered I must disable the apps for both users. If only one user has the same app enabled, it will automatically enable for both users.

Has anyone been experiencing Google Play Store issues, i.e. cannot update apps or DL

Hello All,
Apologies if this has been addressed already. I did try to search for the issue and have found various articles outside of XDA, but none internally. Yesterday, or perhaps the day before, I noticed I was unable to update any of my apps via the Google Play Store.
I tried the basic troubleshooting steps.
Reset mobile data.
Did a clear cache and data on the Play Store app, as well as Google Play Services (this also kicked me back to an older version of play, when I go to settings and click build, it says it will install a new version of Play, i.e. the one I had prior to a Data clear, but I never get it).
Removed and re-added my google account on my phone.
Stopped short of doing a factory reset, as I am not too keen on doing so just yet.
Called Google Support (or rather, used their callback feature built into the play store app), and they were absolutely clueless. The guy literally said, there is no solution to this problem and hung up on me, sounded like the gentlemen may have been from Africa, or the call center in Africa. Whatever the case, it was clear he had absolutely no technical knowledge or ability other than reading 3 lines from a script.
In any event, has anyone else been experiencing this issue, and is there a solution and/or any insight or updates regarding this?
Thanks in advance.
Do you get any errors from Play Store while trying to update apps?
No errors, whatsoever. Just stuck on downloading. Tried it over WI-FI and it still didn't work. Then went tried a different Wi-Fi and was able to download apps and update apps again, but I still can't download or update anything over my mobile network.
At one point, I got a timeout message coded (925). Searched around for that, and none of the fixes worked (I had already tried tjose fixes anyway).
MODERATOR, please move this to the T-Mobile Galaxy Note 5 forum. Apologies. I was at work when posting this, and didn't check which forum I was in when posting. This should be addressed in the T-Mobile Note 5 forum. Thanks!!
Clear data and cache of Play Store app, then connect to VPN (change your IP address to another country), and run Play Store, see if it works or not.
Ok TAEL, I will try this and get back to you.
Found the culprit. Apparently, on the Note 5, there are fine grained settings for restricting background data for certain apps and processes. I had restricted background data for "Media", and this was the issue. Thank you for your help!
You silly guy, you.

S6 won't load in apps, although there's a working internet connection

Hey guys,
since 3 days my S6 won't load any apps, e.g. the YT-App needs a long time so show the videos and when I click on a video, the video description, the comment section etc. loads up, but the video won't load, until there's an error. Same sh*t with the GMAIL App. It won't update my mails (I knew that I had some new mails). I have this problem with a lot of apps, I also tried reinstall the YT-App (With the others ones I didn't try yet), but it won't work. I even tried different versions. I had to download the apk of the YT-App through the browser, because I can't download apps through the PlayStore. The problem can't be my internet connection, because when I try to watch YT in the browser everything works perfect. When I got this error I hadn't changed anything in my settings, or downloaded anything. I've got the newest firmware.
I hope you know how to fix my problem
PS: Sorry for my english

Spotify downloads issues

Hi guys, I`d like to ask if any of you had issues with the spotify app on the s10...precisely my downloads keep getting deleted...talked with spotify, told me registration got corrupted....but this happened only on the s10..and it is a regular thing....to solve it had to hard reset, delete registration on spotify site, reinstall and redownload all...thought this would solve it, and it did...for a few weeks...but after a week of not restarting the s10, when i did, it deleted the spotify downloads...again.....and also, although it did work, no spotify player no longer goes to landscape....and in landscape i cant use the fb messenger bubles...you can? and I also feel like the whole system is somewhat unstable regarding app functionality...is it just me? I mean Oneui seems ok, and apps seem to work ok, but they make the weirdest crashes, like they`re crashing with the system....would like some points of view, experiences...
