cm9 extreme screen battery drain (90%+)

hello.. ive tried flashing this rom in practically any way.. foul wipe and then install.. from cm7 or from stock rom.. after a new flash.. from cm7 without wiping.. anything.. and it started to become tiring.. on 725 bb which is said to have the best battery usage.. when i tried froyo bb i could use my phone for just 3 hours before battery was over.. any solution guys?? or any advise?

Disable Automatic brightness and adjust screen brightness manually to your liking. Should make things better.

flash an ironkrnl , you will see the difference (at 1,1ghz not 1,5 ^^)

how did you flash your inrkernel?? i tried but it doesnt boot.. or it boots for just a few seconds

haha yes i did i found the problem.. it was an undervolting issue solved in the ironkernels G+

can you tell me what have you done? I have got the same problem and don't know how to do to solve it...

just remove the uv96 from the zip file

Problem solved...I was using the touch recovery version and it isn't compatible besides that i have installed the latest version of ironkrnL....it could be a problem with the previous one.

Do you know to deodex GB rom?If so,No difference apart from changing the api level.I dont remember exactly but I think its 12.

The question must be why do u need to?

Api level is 14 for 4.0.3 and 15 for 4.0.4

I dont think script will work at the moment for ICS...But I may be wrong

No need to install linux when you are trying using smali and baksmali.

I found a good way to try it, is having the stock 4.0.3 odin flashable, and if something goes wrong or is impossible to root, flash back to 4.0.3

beware the 4.0.4 on I9100 had the super brick bug
not confirmed if its in this release or not

U can check the thread in the general section for i9100
It has all the info relating the bug
Still I am warning to be on safe side
Nothing is confirmed for this release until some one bricks or Samsung release kernel sources

s- voice

Hey if any one want s-voice you can download it...........it's working :highfive:

HOW TO MAKE IT WORKING :
1:Install s-voice as a regular apk
2:install root explorer
3;Then go to system\build.prop
4: Change the ro.product.model and ro.product.device to GT-I9300
5:Then reboot the device.....the s-voice should be working
6:Should work on ics and jb
NOTE: i had tested in jellybean it's working fine for me

Im on cm10 and I just installed it as a regular apk without using root explorer. It works great so far

Here's a silly question.. Is there any possible way to use S-Voice in GB? I know that it only works on ICS and JB, but just wondering..

If there's a jellybean emulator for gingerbread the maybe it is possible but still chances are extremely slim

Chainfire3d doesn't play nice with cm10 or 10.1
I get bootloops too.
Seems to be common for all jellybean roms

READ the DESCRIPTION of CHAINFIRE3D on playstore and you can see it says that the app is NOT for ICS or JB...

Well i think the issue with chainfire3d and note must be somewhere else. I used chainfire3d on Galaxy S 2 and i was on ics and on jb also.It has nothing to do with JB roms it's something else for sure.
Anyway i will keep playing around with it because it would be nice to play nvidia games on uor lovely note.
