Recently I copied some songs over to my phone. Everything was OK. Now when I go into my music app there is 2 of every song. They just appear to be duplicates. On the actual memory there is 1 of each. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.

I noticed 3 problems with my external SD card:
1. When I copy from PC to my Note some files, sometimes I can't see the files anymore when using the Note after I unplug it from the PC
2. Some movies doesn't play on the external SD card, but the same videos do play on the internal SD card.
3. When I want to flash a ROM, which I copied it from the PC to the external SD card, it aborts and saying the file is bad. BUT, I can flash the SAME ROM from the internal SD card.
Even after formatting the external SD card via the Note, I still have those problems. Even a movie via KIES doesn't work on my external SD card.
Is my external SD card defect? Or am I doing something wrong?

Yes, your external sd card might be defective. Try another one to find out.
Do a full overwrite for mate with this https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_3/

Hi, I have copied mkv-files since then, but after one or more files copied to the external SD-card, only the first (sometimes two in cases of coping three or more files) is able to play. The rest are unable to play with different video players.
I tested to copy two of the same movie, but always one wasn't able to play.
Hypothesis: my external SD card is defect. Or am I missing something?

I can't seem to mount or access my external SD card. I have tried installing over and over....even gone back to GB-->CM9-->CM10. Nothing seems to work. Anyone with CM10 having that problem? if so, what did you do to resolve it?
Thanks

On JB 4.1.2 you can't without root. In case you got root, use Folder Mount to move your game files to external SD card
game data run to sd help

If you mean without an app that needs root and will transfer you files to SDcard, the answer is nope

There is also Link2SD(Still requires root and to partition your sd..As it's more advanced you should not try it but keep it in mind )
I'd think the XSP's 5.4GB free memory should be enough for playing games. I got 100+ apps and am still on 2.3GB without Foldermount

to you I recommend using foldermount, because link2sd needs a serie of preparations before you can move your files. Foldermount only needs root acces and not an extra partition

Foldermount is the best way.Now if you want to swap internal with external you can do it using the script...
(I would recommend it since foldermount is more safe)

When you've moved your files, there should be a white or green pin right next to your game name. If it's white, tick it and it will mount the folder on sd card (and will turn green)

Every time I restart my phone I have to put Nova back on. Redo my widgets and put my wallpaper back on. Every time anybody else?
Is it because you moved Nova to the SD card? Sometimes programs won't boot at the start if they're on the SD card.
