Is there anyway to make the HP Touchpad work as a Bluetooth speaker with my Galaxy Nexus or any other Android device?

Monster clarity HD - paired but no sound

Tried my Clarity HD with my Nexus 7. It pairs and says it is connected but there is no audio.
Anyone else with one get it to work?

Works with my galaxy nexus . I'm gonna try tonight with nexus 7

I had this happen when I first tried to pair it. I had to pair it then unpair it. It will eventually pair properly. Sorry for the not so technical advice, but it's what I did to get it to work.
Will try it again now.
Edit: I have found that turning on the speakers before turning on Bluetooth to be key.

Took me two more tries but eventually got it. Thanks for the ideas.

I totally forgot i got one from that bestbuy buy a zte android phone and get the speaker free 50 dollar bundle
so it works with nexus 7?
can i pair with more than one bluetooth device at a time?
I've got the Monster Clarity HD, and had no trouble whatsoever pairing it with my Nexus 7 16GB. (I do also run an audio booster - SpeakerBoost - at +35%.)
I just picked up the Clarity HD and it paired the first time with my Nexus 7. But one thing I noticed was that there is a noticeable delay when playing games (about 1 second) but not when I am playing videos. Is this a JB issue? Or something else?

[Q] Plantronic Backbeat Go

I've my Plantronic Backbeat Go pairing with my Samsung Galaxy Note without any problem. However, I found that it seems not working with Nexus 7. Anyone knows why? Or does Nexus 7's bluetooth cannot pair with any bluetooth headset?

For those having difficulty, make sure your other devices have BT switched off just to be sure there's no confusion as to what it's connecting to, might help.

This is what I was going to say. If the headset is connected to your phone, you won't be able to pair it with your tablet. Also make sure your tablet isn't connected to anything else.
Other than that, I've been using my Plantronics Backbeat 903+ Stereo Headset with my N7, and it's working well. I was actually looking at the Backbeat Go as an "upgrade" (with half the battery life)... how do you like the headset in general?
good luck,
Billy
Thanks all the replies. I have my Backbeat Go works with my N7 now. It was connected to my Galaxy Note and thats why failed.
The Backbeat Go is nice while i can watching movies on my N7 without a toublesome wire connecting. The sound quality is good as a bluetooth headset and its better then MW600 to me.

Kinivo BTH220 Bluetooth Headphones NOT Compatible?

Weird, my Nexus 10 can't find the Kinivo BTH220. These are very popular, inexpensive bluetooth cans. From Amazon reviews they are reported to work with Nexus 7. Anyone else have problems? I'm stock for now on the Nexus 10.
Tried to pair my Kinivo BTH220's as well - same issue. Doesn't find them. I'm too much of a noob to offer a solution but wanted you to know you're not alone with this question. Wonder what's going on with the N10, they work perfectly with my phone...

BTW - I'm rooted, so it doesn't appear to make a difference either way.

I'm having a similar issue with my Motorola s10 HD
Surprisingly no issues connecting to car audio

Don't know enough about Bluetooth. Possible the N10 doesn't have the right frequency or radio to support these headphones?

Incompatible bluetooth stack?
Oh No...this is not compatible with Google Nexus 1.
OMG. Is this headphone not compatible with Android devices?
My google nexus one (rooted) is not able to discover the headphone at all.
Is this headphone only working for Apple products and Windows 7?
On the manual, it should work with Android devices though.
I'm hijacking this thread since I searched the forum for bth220, but my kinovo's aren't working on my HTC One X+. Can pair with my car.
Hmm, not sure what's going on, but I have those headphones and they work great on my nexus 10.

I found this from a review on Amazon: ... I contacted Kinivo when I had some difficulty pairing the headphones with my Nexus 10. It turns out the pairing difficulty was my fault (I was making the Nexus 10 bluetooth visible to devices but forgot to also have it search for devices). Kinivo responded almost immediately and walked me through the correct setup. Bottom line, buy the Kinivo product, you won't be disappointed!
Update: I tried again with Nexus 10 and paired ok. I'm not sure what the problem was.
Still isn't working

I used it with my GS3 just this morning. Try this. Turn off the headphones. Enable bluetooth on the phone. Hold down the power button on headphones for 10 seconds or so until the lights flash. On the phone scan for new bluetooth devices. It should pair.

How is the sound quality with the s3 ?
I have these headphones and they work fine on my Nexus 10. I also have the newer model the 240 and they also work fine...

It just ok. Cuts out occasionally when not fully charged. I still use with an S3.
These headphones are great. I have 2 sets, one at work and one at home. The company is awesome too. A friend of mine had a pair crap out on him and Kinivo sent him a replacement free of charge and didn't even ask for the old ones back.

Multiple Bluetooth Connections

I'm sorry if this has been posted before, i looked around and couldn't find anything.....
I have a bluetooth keyboard for my nexus 7 (the amazonbasics keyboard, which i have fallen in love with) and was considering getting a pair of bluetooth headphones for when i'm in the library. However i want to be able to listen to music and use my keyboard simultaneously (meaning two bluetooth connections). Is this possible? Am i trying to squeeze too much out of this device? =P
Thanks for any assistance you can give me!
It can. I think. .I had it paired to 2 different bluetooth devices b4 and had no problem. I was streaming music to a bt receiver and connected to an obd2 thinga majig. Worked fine.

Touchpad NFC?

I remember when touchpad was introduced HP did a whole shpeal about touch to share which basically used NFC I presume.. so is there a chance of getting NFC working on android or are drivers closed source for it?

It wasn't nfc . it was Bluetooth modified to touch share with other webos devices

Nfc is technically not a heavy sharing medium... It establishes the connection and whatever needed to be transferred went through Bluetooth. Otherwise there was no reason to touch them together

I know what NFC is. The Touchpad doesn't have it.
Touchpad does not have Near Field Communication technologies built into it.

Touchpad doesnot have nfc it just use bluetooth to transfer and communicate with other device!! I have 2 touchpad and that touch thing works between those two but it always prompts me to turn on bluetooth to share stuff!! So no NFC

I was under the impression that's what android relies on as well (that data transfers over Bluetooth once the NFC is established, but it's turned on automatically). Possible HP have there own proprietary system to detect 2 HP products touched together.
