HTC Touch Viva 223 Rom Upgrade

Hello Guys,
Can anyone please donwload original HTC touch Viva ROM(Turkey) from this http://www.htc.com/tr/SupportDownload.aspx?p_id=175&cat=2&dl_id=604
And upload it to some other Mirror as it is asking for Serial No and mine is not matching with it. So Please Help!

HTC devices' serial nos. defends on the country where it was distributed... mines Asia so i can't use my serial no. there. sorry mate.

Indian firmware of Jelly Bean is out, here are some of my queries.

I am an impatient guy, I couldn't wait for the official JB Firmware of my country, so I flashed the Russian firmware.
Currently I am running I9070XXLQ4, can I install the Indian firmware over it via Odin? The Indian firmware is called I9070DDULP8.
After the install, do I have to factory reset my phone?
Is it safe? What are the risks?
Also tell me which version of Odin should I use and where should I download it from?

And I think we will have warrenty if we keep our phone unrooted!

Hmm... take a look at this thread then.. the steps should be the Same, only the difference would be the firmware...
- Use Odin 3.07 (link)
- And about you warranty... you have already voided it by rooting your phone or by installing Russian Firmware over your Stock Gingerbread.... the Indian firmware is also Official (not unofficial) - otherwise why would Sammobile publish it?
- About your Binary Counter... Shaan already posted a Guide on how to reset it anyway

Yep but I don't think there's any dev host link of Indian firmware, hotfile seems like an only option now.
I'll let you know when everything is complete, now I am stopping browsing, coz hotfile download might freeze while browser.
Wait sometime for my post, I'll post some screens too.

Finally, Samsung delivered on its promise of JB for the SGSA :highfive:
just did a factory reset to get over the lag with the update. setting it up now. so far it looks & works good.
Update - after the reset there is no noticeable lag
for ones who wanted zoom feature in Camera, it works now

I successfully installed the new firmware, thanks for help both of you guys, the Indian firmware is more or less the same, same notification bar, same UI, It doesn't have Google Play Books and Movies by default, a new app that I noticed was Music Hub, maybe it was there in Russian firmware too, I don't really remember.
Lag - There wasn't a single lag that I noticed, well apps installed are 0 too, that might have been a reason, I'll have to test it again after installing some apps.
All the motion features are intact too, direct call and all the others.

@Sami Kabir - No I never rooted my phone, I just updated the firmware, and that was official. And how will the people at service center know that I messed with my mobile now that I am back to the official country version? I don't know how things work, I am new in the Android world.

I think that there is some error with thoose apps. Try remove it and if it doesn't help try some custom ROM like CM10 or CM10.1. Or I think that digitizer is gone (it's broken) if CM10 doesn't help man.
Croatian: Ako to ne uspije izgleda dati je digitizer otišao i nema mu spasa. Samo novi može pomoći.

Stock Kitkat or Mod Rom? doubt

Hello everyone I have a doubt.
I have kitkat 4.4.2 and as others have battery problems. (Maximum of 2 and a half hours of screen, not arriving at 7-8 pm in the evening with normal use.)
It's better stock rom or mod rom? (for example: Stock rom 4.3, 4.4.2 or mod rom based on stock firmware: MW v2, CriskeloROM, eXistenZ SpikeLabs etc. )

The best choise is stock based rom or as you say modded rom

You can root the stock ROM and under-clock the processor a bit if you don't use processor intensive apps

For me Parandroid is way better than the stock room :/ i was on stock all the time and now i regret that i didnt change it earlier

there's google camera app !! but other than the camera i miss nothing about sony's stock rom and my phone is out of warranty anyway
i installed : walkman. movies, album apps and they work perfectly and now i'm having almost 1 gb free ram
ive whatsaap instagram snapshat viber facebook and facebook messenger working all the time
one more thing the xperia keyboard wont work anymore and you will have to use another keyboard ( in my case swiftkey )

im also looking for a "smooth" rom.. i dont like this laggy menus.. i tried Stock, Stock with XZkernel, existenz 7.0... all are laggy.. whats wrong? no one able to fix the lags? when scrolling down i feel using a nokia from 2002... even my Nokia 5800 was more smooth than this..

Cwm/xz dual recovery will do.

I have unlocked bootloader, flashed recovery.
I have instaled ParanoidAndroid. All ok
I have flashed Cyber-camera and the phone is blocked on sony logo.
Do you know an stock camera or CyberCamera for Kitkat?

You should read the post he replied to better, especially if you're going to correct someone. They were asking about PA, which needs an unlocked bootloader. The post directly above yours also states they flashed PA.

no os installed!,no backup ,no recovery.....(htc desire 510)

i tried to install a new rom ...but it seems that is not flashed properly.....i wiped erverything on my phone...including backup,recovery and all.......i have no os left....when i boot in recovery,it shows no os installed ....please help me ... i am new to this....
i tried installing dragon rom ...by flashing it in recovery...but my s is on(s-On) ....so no external roms can be installed ....please give me a solution so i can get an os on my phone...so i will turn s_off by sunshine.....then i can install new roms...now my phone has no os !....pleaaaaasssseeeeeeeeeeeee help!!!!!!:crying::crying::crying::crying:

Yeah if you want to do that you'll need to download the Sunshine app and pay 25 dollars make the phone S-Off and this is the easiest cheapest way to do it go here http://theroot.ninja/ if you run into problems after paying for a license you can find @jcase or @beaups and many others in the chat room to help you with any problems with the Sunshine app.

Yes those steps will work for your phone because all RUU's run the same way... And about getting s-off free? No there's no other way to get it the only possible way is to go buy it from @jcase at http://theroot.ninja Other people charge 100 dollars to s-off and @jcase only charging 25 dollars for all his work is pretty generous if you asked me. His work takes hours upon hours upon hours and MANY broken cell phones so it's worth supporting the Sunshine app.
