Hi all,
I should be grateful if anyone could tell me what to do with the following:-
- my Galaxy Note is now running "ROCKET-v20-LA4-eybee1970.zip",
what should I do if I want to upgrade to "Rocket-v21"?
- could I just install the "ROCKET-v21-LA4-eybee1970.zip" from SD Card
through the "CWM-based recovery mode"?
Thanks.
yes, thats simple.
Thanks a lot. I will try upgrade a.s.a.p.
Installed successfully. Thanks. It's really amazing and beautifly.

Hey guys I apologize if this post doesn't belong here, but please bear with me I am still a "newb" in the smartphone world. I recently managed ( using some online tutorials) to install a rooted version of android 2.3.6 on my SGS. For the first 3 weeks everything worked like a charm, my phone was smooth and everything, I was really satisfied with it. But lately it has been running really badly, it lags a lot, it takes a lot longer to load stuff, etc. I beg you guys to help me do something with it. I would really like to install a new firmware that allows me to overlock the processor and stuff like that ( like CyanogenMod), so can you guys please point in the direction of a good tutorial that even a moron like me can follow. I'm having a lot of trouble understanding what kernels I can use and what exactly the CyanogemMod Nightlys are or how I can install new firmware using Rom Manager or CWM. Thank you guys in advance and once again sorry if the post is in the wrong place.
rom
I had same problem with 2.3.5 .
I installed a few days ICS 4.0.4. from dark knight and it work nice
You can try it
Go for ICS
Hi,
I am on [ROM][ICS][I9000] Team ICSSGS RC4.2 for a few weeks now. It's blazing fast and stable. I was hesitating at first, but did it anyway and now i'm very happy with it. I also flashed the Semaphore kernel.
All is explainened in detail in their threads.
Hi,
since more then two weeks I'm using ICSSGS RC 4.2 with the semaphore kernel and I'm very happy with this rom. It's fast and doesn't lag at all.
With this kernel you can overclock the cpu by using the semaphore tool (is installes automatically when flashing the semaphore kernel in cwm.
You will find a threat how to install this rom, if you have some more question somebody will help you.

Hi !
Just looked into possibility of installing the custom rom Hybrid but....since I use xxjw4 , do I then need to first change to xxjw5 or flash Hybrid directly from my SD card after the necessary wipes ?
Your kind response would be very appreciated.
Thx !
