Kabooot - it looks like your /efs folder is corrupt. If you have made a backup of that folder, you can try restoring it. There are some pointers on this thread.

Since you can get to the downloading screen I would suggest you reinstall JM9 following the instructions carefully.

If following all that stuff from the link does not work (I hope it does!), then you might try to flash a firmware with Odin, and select the option "Phone EFS Clear".
NOTE: I am not entirely sure this is safe!
But when I had the EXACT same problem you are having, I reflashed my phone like 20 times with many different firmwares, and a few times I selected that option. Then one time... just randomly... my phone started working, and I even got back my original IMEI and stuff.

I think he is a young kid & may not have a lot of experience/patience of many of us here, I think some patient soul here can guide him to flash an official ROM over Kies. I think Kies can see the phone in download mode & can update the firmware.
Have you solved your problem yet?
SEC S5PC110 Test B/D
I got this driver request pop-up after I flashed my GT-I9000 and it won't go to download mode either phone-!-pc mode. And still turn black when press power up or 3 button.
How to fix this?
Maybe your handset is an prototype? Check this out... Label under Battery or something like this...
Anyone found these drivers anywhere?
Thanx in advance.
Best Regards

My i9000 has the exact same symtoms shows as a sec s5pc110 device. Were you able to revive your phone with or without the hardware mod?
I guess an ubuntu download and install is nessecary really soon
I created this during a failed odin flash possibly a bad usb cable attempting to recover from a bootloop brick (those previously did not scare me anymore)

Going through the same dramas myself, I've got a Ubuntu distro running with UnBrickableResurrectorR40 but the issue I'm having is keeping my i9000 connected whilst Resurrector does its stuff. Battery is at 100% (from a desktop charger) but yeh, Resurrector sees it for about five seconds, does a little bit of its process then the phone disappears and Resurrector flags an error. Nowhere is there any help for this problem, I've been searching forums far and wide for days without a result...
Fix
Did anyone find a fix ?
Tryied unbrickable mod (without hardware mod) and didnt worked
Nah, still no good, the phone won't maintain connection to the PC long enough for Resurrector to write what it needs to into the bootloader...
Hi
has anybody been able to fix the problem my phone is having the same problem
Nah, sorry mate, the way I solved it was to buy a i9100...
Damn. Same problem.
I have the same problem. Tried jig.. no luck. Comp only recognizes device for a couple seconds, tried everything and looked everywhere. Damn.
I've pretty much resigned myself to using my i9000 as a paperweight, until someone can come up with a working solution...

I have had this same problem and figured out that when you click "Resurrect" fast enough (before the "DetectMode" picture changes) then it writes successfully. However this does not help, since it "disconnects" after that so no download mode and no heimdal ;(

I wish there was, other than replacing the board in the thing. Hoping to get it up and running as a spare, even though my S2 is being a brilliant replacement...

Hi everybody i need some help
I was installing Lollipop in my S5 Mini (SM-G800H) after a success process, I got the message "Insert Sim Card" and after some research I realize that my IMEI was gone.
I have followed many tutorials but none works, I'm not an expert user and I need help.
I tried the "EFS Professional" program and one "EFS-backup.bat" but none have worked for me. I read something enter the menu "* # 0011 #" but I can not enter the menu to follow the steps of the tutorial.
I really need help I hope that any of you know how to solve the IMEI null.
Maybe someone can upload your EFS folder and use it to get my imei?
I'll be very greatful.
Every device got its own so even if i gave you mine it wont work

My S3 running 4.1.2 had the same problem
did a lot of stuff but to no avail
in the end it was a hardware issue and a mobile shop fixed it
so it could be a hardware issue for you as well

I was thinking if you can pass me your EFS folder (if you have the nv_data files that contains the IMEI) and then use some hex editor(I tried but I dont have those files) and change the IMEI by the mine
Hello !
I have run into a small problem with two different moto G6
Both suffer from random reboots and sometimes thet just shutdown by themselves, I tied flashing them with the stock rom using the lenovo tool but it didn't work
I also tried factory reset and clearing the cache
The last thing I did was disable the animations and for some strange reason it seems more stable but I feel like I'm still missing something, any idea how to solve this?
Could a custom rom solve the problem?
Thanks in advance
Update: Phone's board was faulty , had to replace it , everything is working now.
Edit:Grammar
try flashing the firmware again but use another

So running the lenovo tool again in rescue mode? I guess that might work .Will give it shot, thanks!
If anybody else has this problems , this is a hardware defect , the board had to be replaced and now everything works
I just started getting this. Is it a mainboard issue?
