Means what the problem and how to rectify it
Flash the correct RUU from here, if that doesn't fix it, you should send it back for repair as it'll be a hardware problem.

This certainly is a problem with the motherboard. Only shipping on guarantees.
To OP..
Try Cleaning the Power Button.
Take it to your known service centre and ask for them to do it.
Think so the power button might have gone bad.
i am on new hboot how to wipe the tool rom ?
You have to enter CWM and Wipe Data, Wipe Cache, and wipe Dalvik.

What do you mean by 'power menu' exactly?
If you are referring to the to the Top-right button, when held - Giving
-->Power Off/ Airplane mode/ Restart options.
As far as i know that's the only way. If you phone was rooted you could probably use a su command from ./terminal to power-down or restart
Something like
[email protected] ~$ shutdown -r now (at least for linux)
As tleibran mentioned, if tour phone is rooted, there are apps (shutdown) that allow u to turn off ur phone w/o having to press and hold the pwr button.

i think the answer already at the comment section on the video you posted.
it will be hardware problem (power button / mainboard) or your firmware. try to change your rom with full wipe. if it still exist, it is hardware problem I believe.
how to wipe the total rom as i am on new hboot
Its a hardware problem. Phone's power button is malfunctioning and you need to send back to vendor to repair/replace power button.
Change or remove if you are using any Phone Cover/Case.
Power+Home key is the combination to take a screen shot and this means your phone's power button is constantly getting pressed automatically. I believe ROM wont fix this problem unless power button is fixed.

That does not sound good. What happens when you boot up to boot loader? Power off , battery out and in, then volume down while pressing power button.

while boot loading ,above htc logo a line is seen and again fades away like before..is it a hardware issue??
I got a confusing issue with my HTC One (T-Mobile Germany). When I sometimes push the power button to turn the device into sleep it directly wakes up by itself. So this issue is at stock (s-on, locked bootloader..) and custom rom (ARHD, TrickDroid , S-Off). It only works correctly on ViperOne with disabled capacitive buttons backligt. If capacitive buttons backlight is enabled, it appears on ViperOne too.
Got anyone a solution how to fix this problem?

I also have this issue with my HTC one.. have posted here b4 but no one replied..
I got that issue on every HTC device I owned. The Sensation, OneX and One. Not even the HTC support can help me with that.

You hit the power button, screen switches off, and then on?
I have that, but I only noticed it recently. Doesn't mean it didn't exist before. I dunno.
Yes I push the power button and the screen switches off and sometime on again. I had that with every HTC device having capacitive buttons. The only solution I found was flashing to Viper Rom and disabeling the capacitive buttons backlight.

you said that you had this issue with every htc device you had... well check my phone history, i had many htc devices, and never had this issue, but for you it seems like some app you are installing is causing this issue...... if possible, do a factory reset( I know its hard ), and then check if the problem persists... you can claim a warranty then...

With my Sensation I did that... got a new device two times and it happened again and again. But this is only if capacitive buttons backlight is on. Since I deactivated it in viper rom it never happened again. But I'd like to use Stock Rom.. and I love my One... dont want to claim a warranty again :/
