Help!, can not get to Recovery screen. when I try to go to recovery all I get is a phone with a red triangle on it.
any help would be appreciated.
I answered you in the other thread. That means you have to flash a recovery. The red triangle means you haven't flashed one.

hi,
my tattoo can not enter recovery mode after pressing [END]+[HOME], it's only show the "!" sign in a triangle and phone icon.. but it succesfully enter HBOOT mode my presing [END]+[VOLUME DOWN]
it has been rooted with m6..
can anybody explain what happen with my tattoo?

coolbits.. nope, my tattoo never been flash before, it just been rooted with m6 method.. so, is it normal if it's not able to go to recovery mode by pressing [END]+[HOME] when my tattoo has not been flash before?

from memory the "!" sign in a triangle and phone icon
is the default splash screen and you just have to press some other button for menu
alt + L I think ... ill edit if I have time to dig it up running late for work and have my own flash issue atm

3.A yellow or red triangle with an exclamation mark (!) will be displayed on phone screen. Press and hold the Volume Up and Camera or Power buttons simultaneously to bring out the system recovery menu.

If the triangle is showing, then you didn't sucessfully ported recovery img.

Not dev. related question..
BTW I think you should install ROM Manager (with Clockwork recovery)
Then use the nandroid backup or flash another update.zip.
To rollback to original 1.6 use the WWE RUU
I cant rollback to original 1.6 becouse its says error when i tray

So, according to my Windows terminal it says that Amon_Ra's Recovery has been successfully installed...but when I boot into recovery I only get a triangle with an exclamation mark in the middle. When I press Volume Up and the power button I do get a blue menu but it doesn't have all the options that Amon_Ra's Recovery has.
why am I getting this?

flash it again. sometimes that happens and you have to flash it two or three times.
Read my signature, and follow Recovery installation procedure from Wiki.

Push the Volume Up key followed by the Power button to enter into the HTC Recovery.

This is the stock recovery..press power+volume up.

I rooted my HTC One international and flashed Android revolution. At the end it said "you may have lost root, do you want to fix?" I selected Yes and now my phone is in a constant reboot where its shows HTC logo and then switches off and on and shows entering recovery and off and on again back to HTC logo.
How do I force it to switch off and are there any other recovery options?
Entirely wrong section, but try holding down the power and volume down key. When it shuts down keep holding the volume down key. Should get you to the bootloader. If it just keeps rebooting no matter what, when it shuts off hold the volume down key to get to boot loader. I've had a similar thing happen. If those don't work you can PM me and I'll try throwing some other options out there.

Sorry about posting in the wrong area. I was freaking out a bit about the boot loop and in that worried frame of mind I posted in the wrong place.
Back to the problem, I can get into the bootloader now and select fastboot and my computer can connect to the phone.
At the top of the bootloader it shows ***Tempered*** and ***unlocked***.
I re-flashed the recovery but I still can't get into recovery. It just shows entering recovery then the clockworkmod recovery screen shows for a split second and then it reboots.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

flash a TWRP recovery
I ran "Fastboot erase cache" and now I can enter recovery again.
I tried re-flashing the ARHD ROM which is still on the internal storage but when the phone reboots, it keeps going back into recovery.
I did create a backup of my original ROM before I flashed ARHd but when I go to restore in ClockworkMod, it just says "Could not open directory. No files found"
What should I do?
Ok I re-flashed superuser and then immediately flashed ARHD and now it's booting again.

I unlocked, rooted and installed TWRP last month. Now i wanted to restore the recovery to stock recovery but unable to no matter what I do. I have tried doing the following,
1) restored to google factory stock using skipsoft android toolkit
2) adb flash recovery and system from 5.0.1
after completing each of the above i went back into recovery just to find the android figure with the exclamation
Please let me know if I am doing something wrong

android with the exclamation point is the stock recovery. Hold vol up and press power to enter.

if its a red exclamation icon, that is the stock recovery.. so mission accomplished.
