You can run the ics ruu. You may need a goldcard if your CID is not WWE. Your modelid must be PG3213000 (fastboot getvar mid). Here's a thread linking to it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1757018

Error 155 means that your HBOOT is UNLOCKED. You need to RELOCK and then you can install the RUU.
Boot into FASTBOOT USB mode and then enter:
fastboot oem lock
Then you can flash the RUU using a goldcard.

[HELP] Safe procedure?

Hello everybody!
I've got an HTC One with:
unlocked bootloader
s-off
hboot 1.55
rom ARHD 30
I wanted to get back to stock, so I flashed the Guru Reset 2.24 ROM via recovery, then flashed the stock 2.24 hboot, then lock bootloader and final s-on
Everything is ok but in bootloader I've got a red line which says:
OS-2.24.401.1 (3.57.401.500)
How can I get rid of it?
EDIT: I did it! Just flashed 1.20 firmware zip, then 1.29 one, then 2.24 one, then stock rom!
If you're S-Off, relocking and flashing with RUU is easiest.
You didn't say you flashed an older firmware. Which one do you have now? (fastboot getvar all) don't post your IMEI or Serial.
firmware is stock 2.24.401.1
I cannot flash the ruu because there's no 2.24 ruu
the red line in bootloader says: OS - 1.20.401.1 (2.24.401.1) and I want to get rid of it
i'm still unlocked and s-off
You could have when you were S-Off, I think there's a 1.29.401.x
Maybe unlock with htcdev and use beaups S-Off, then RUU, relock, S-On, update.

but i'm already s-off...
now I'm on stock 2.24 rom, with stock 2.24 hboot, unlocked and s-off and that red line says OS - 1.20.401.1 (2.24.401.1)
Sorry, confusing threads. Download and flash the 1.29 RUU and Robert's your fathers brother.
fastboot oem lock
before RUU

I flashed 2.24 bootloader and 2.24 rom...
anyway if I try to flash ruu (the 1.28.401.7) it always gives me the 171 error (tried on three PCs)
Not being funny mate but you messed it up. The output above proves that.
I'm not gonna Google your error code for you.

dude, I'm not a noob, I know how to fix the 171 error, but still I got that error
I flashed the 1.20.401.1 firmware and now the red line in the bootloader has gone. Now the only thing I need is to run the 1.20.401.1 ruu and relock everything, my phone name in device list in windows is "My HTC" for both adb and fastboot (that driver is the solution to the 171 error)

There are no Orange RUUs that I know off
I'm with Orange(UK) but my phone came with HTC__001 x.xxx.401.xx WWE
Can you post a fastboot getvar all minus your imei & serial no.
There are two CWM nandroid backups here
http://www.htc1guru.com/downloads/stock-nandroid-downloads/
Use the first one has this will have touchscreen working
http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/m7-cwm-nandroid-backup-cid-orang001-2-24-61-1-zip/
Read instructions on how to install.
You will then need a stock recovery for it
Will try to find one.

I currently have a custom ROM installed (venom)
Better off installing one of the backups and flashing a stock recovery. Then you can install any OTAs to make sure you're nice and stock for the return

You can't downgrade the hboot with S-ON and you don't want to downgrade it if flashing a 7.xx.xxx.x RUU, you need at least hboot 1.57.

'How to flash' in the link is for zip RUU. my one is EXE file...!
PLZ TELL ME HOW TO GET RID OF THIS ERROR....!!
Try with another computer, looks like a Windows problem not related to the ruu itself. Do you have the latest C++ redistr installed on your computer?

Hboot 1.57 suggest a 6.xx.502.x version, you can't flash a 1.xx.502.x RUU, its a downgrade. Dowgrading requires S-OFF. Use a 6 or 7.xx.502.x RUU.
7.23.502.1 and 7.23.502.4 here

Error 155= You're trying to flash a RUU with an unlocked bootloader. If your phone is S-ON, like yours, you must have a locked or re-locked bootloader to flash a RUU. You can relock the BL using "fastboot oem lock" command.
Make sure you have the right RUU version for your phone before. RUU version must be same or newer than you firmware version. Your phone CID and MID must be compatible for the RUU version you want to use. If you're unsure, post the output of "fastboot getvar all" (hide your imei and serialno before posting).

You must have at least hboot 1.57 to flash a 7.xx.xxx.x RUU. try to find a 6.xx.502.x or 5.xx.502.x version (must be a signed version since your phone is s-on)
