Did anyone else notice the extra button when they took their tablet cover off?
There are 4 on the board but only 3 on the case

Has anybody bought a gelaskin skin for the note II if so how is the quality and is front piece a screen protecor too? http://www.gelaskins.com/

I used Gelaskins on my Galaxy Nexus and I was very happy with it. It came with the front piece but I didnt use it. It just borders the screen. So it's not a true screen protector.
The Gnex has a textured back and it stuck to it perfectly for several months. So I am sure you would not have any issues on the Note 2

I'm running paranoid on my note 2. I have no need for the buttons so I'm wondering if there's a case that covers them.

I really doubt somebody will make a case just for PA users..
This?

He's talking about the home, menu, and back buttons.
And I agree with the other poster, you're most likely going to never find a case that intentionally covers those buttons.

The phone in the picture doesn't have the same chrome looking bezel as the nexus 4.

does it need to have it? it is for the n5
It looks like Spigen accidentally changed the title and picture for a nexus 4 protector. Or it could be a cruel joke. I just searched "nexus 4 spigen screen protector" on amazon and that was one of the first few results

And The camera is on the left.. Speaker port is thinner, Screen appears bigger also. Hmmm...

If you find it on amazon and zoom in you can faintly see where the screen ends and how thin the bezel is on the left side

In stock on October 30th http://gyazo.com/cd5019a2a8225a60f7ddce2a59036c65
This was already discussed here weeks ago. It is not unusual for accessories makers to put these listings up on Amazon. Most likely they won't even start producing them until they get a Nexus 5 in their hands. They just try to get the early press and pre-orders before others get their products out.
Please use the existing Nexus 5 thread

Can I buy an s view case of eBay and will it work on my phone thank you
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
No, no magnet on note 2 to work like note 3

very sad news indeed. so much envy to S4 and Mega users.
You can try to use some smart cover app that uses proximity sensor to on the screen upon flipping of a flip cover if it helps
Still no s view though

I'm using this
http://www.ebay.fr/itm/BE4K-For-Sam...lePhonesCasesPouches&var=&hash=item4d124a5f33
Took it from uk seller for less than 5€
It's not the S view, but I think you can use proximity thing to light it up with hands, not sure, I just hit a button when needed
Other than that, I love that case, No need to open it, screen is protected, tho it may not be protected enough if you drop it, that's the only cons for me, but I prefer protection against dust.
I had a similar one in past, full gel transparent, but the flip didn't have anything to keep it closed, so edges weren't always working and things could go between the screen and cover...
I'm thinking HTC must have a patent on something or else someone else would be making cases that took advantage of this

Nillkin 'sort of' make use of it with their case which has a window (similar to Samsung). When the flap closes it displays the pixel clock you get with DotView.
