Hello,
Coming from CM9 nightly, bluetooth was perfectly working, I installed unoficial CM10 and since this my car radio did'nt see my phone anymore. I went back to CM9 and the problem is the same: the phone says it is correctly paired with the radio but the radio does'nt see the phone, and nothing comes from the phone to the radio (music or calls), very strange.
Someone having an idea please ?
Thanks
Pierre

Thanks tchindalia; but I already did it three times... without success.
A strange thing is the car radio does'nt work but i can pair my phone with my computer and communicate without problem.
The problem seems to be located with sound/music devices, something has been set and is not reset by installing a different version.

Hi, I'm using MIUI and from last upgrade my phone doesn't any more automatically connect with the radio. Every time it asks for pairing code... Could it be a kernel related problem? Meaning I could try another one...
I like MIUI, but I need a working bluetooth when I drive...
Any idea? Thank's...
Same here
FWIW, the same thing has happened to me with 2 different Gingerbread updates. The only reliable re-connections have been with Froyo.

Hi,
i´ve got a (big?) problem...i dont know why..but i cant make and get calls!
even the dataconnection doesnt work...
i have now the wgspolestras rc1 rom...i had tried the cm7...and the..i forgot..
i`ve made a clockworkmod restore...
nothing worked...
so i`ve flashed the baseband from 06.06 and updated the ril from the 06.06
no chance..no call...
what can i do?? i am a bit pissed off, no nice friday evening... -.-
i am new to the baseband & ril..so sorry if there is the answer somewhere...
hopefully someone can help me..
thanks
If nothing works, I suggest you do an NVflash. it's basically a clean flash of the stock ROM, which will clean everything (make sure you packup your apps on external sd card)
link of how to do it and the files you need - http://android.modaco.com/content/l...rom-release-v10b-dated-1300166062-15-03-2011/
thanks..i will look at this...i hope it will work!
EDIT:
The device is flashing....
after that, there is a stock rom on the device, right?
i have to root it again, and to install romanager with clockworkmod and install a rom?
EDIT2:
NO SUCCESS!!
the lg stock rom has started, i got an sms, then i tried to call....nothing!!
When i call my phone ->its busy...
sending/receiving sms seems to work..
you have to root your phone again, and install rom manager/clockworkmod.
try calling someone else, or try receiving a call. This is the gold standard, if this doesn't work, then there's not much else you can do.
i got a bit shocked!!
but i`ve flashed the newest vodaphone stock rom....
and it worked! (okay the internetsettings are different from my provider)
but that worked too
i am going to root and flash it now...it should work..
EDIT:
Its working...somehow!! Dataconnection is very bad...
i`ve flashed the RC1 from WGSpolestra...i can call in and out, but with data connection the signal is very bad...can i flash new ril and baseband?

Same problem..
Hey there,
Ive got the same problem.
I was using the CM Nightly Rom, but just one dat, I got an "X" instead of having any signal.
Dont have a clue why or what happend.
I tried other roms, but All the same problem.
At the end, I tried the NVFLASh, that works, But only with the 2.2 Roms.
Today i put the latest nightly on my Lg, and My signal was gone after half a day.
Weird, Weird...
Greetz
WyCkson.
i think that i found the problem....
wich launcher are u using?
i had used the pro plus launcher, but after a reboot all my widgets are gone (loading problem) so i switched to the adw launcher and no problem any more!!!
the phone works well now!!
How stupid is that....such probem because of the launcher!!!?
hello,
Is it possible it's sim card problem ?
Try with another to see.
bye
i`ve used my card in a other phone..no problem..
No Calls suddenly Don't know what to do!!!!
Suddenly NO Incoming Calls. Knew it the next day when my friend personally came to see.
Also got scolded from company.
Dont' know what is the problem. But 3 to 4 restart helps.
I feel I may be an IDIOT for buying this phone.
Update: Solved (just reflashed the ROM)
I have a problem here with my X8. So, after I have successfully unlocked my bootloader without the network problem, now I have a wifi problem. So what I did was: rooted my phone, unlocked the bootloader, applied a nAa kernel (before that I tried the MiniCM9 with the ICS nAa kernel), then I applied the custom ROM called JoyOS... In both cases(ICS-MiniCM9, and JoyOS) I have the problem when connecting to a wifi router, I cant use it. I know it sounds strange but I can connect normally with the wifi but still I cant use it... I mean when I try to open google.. or use anything with wifi (like syncing) I just cant... it says unable to connect to the internet. I am thinking its the unlocked bootloader problem.. but I am not sure. Can someone help with this please.
Maybe just reset router...
lol???
Thats not a problem with the router... I am using the internet via that router writing this reply.. please dont be stupid and post something smart.
EDIT:
Still waiting for a reply.. I really need a solution for this..
Have u tried connecting to a totally different router cuz that may be ur problem, I have a friend who had a similar problem with an android tablet that didn't like his router so give it a go it won't hurt to try
P.S did it connect when it was stock?
Sent through my X8
it did connect when it was on stock ... and I am not sure but I think it actually was working a little while I was using the MiniCM9 ICS ROM and on the same rom actually the problem has occured. Now I am not sure if it stopped working because of the unlocking and applying a new kernel or something else happened in the mean time.. Could it be I disabled wifi somehow? somewhere?
What rom are you using? i only say that because when i swapped from minicm9 to semc debrand engine both wifi and 3g stopped working but when i switched back to minicm9 it worked perfectly again.
Try a Full wipe + wipe dalvic cache (or whatever it is) and install the rom again, hope this helps
Now trying to flash miniCm9 again.. we ll see now.. will update in a few minutes
Update:
Great, , just flashed the ROM again and now working well. Thanks anyway for helping.
No problem glad i could help
hello everyone, I just registered here for a couple issues with my girlfriend's i9001, it basically can't find Wifi connections, once you click the button to activate the wifi, it shows a green check for few mins while looking for connections and suddenly it deactivates by itself...
I read around about a file to remove via terminal emulator, the bcm_supp.conf one, but I can't find that file...
does anyone have any idea/solution for it? currently she uses internet via 3g (monthly charges) but it would be cool to be able to use the home wifi...
about bluetooth instead, it just can't find other bluetooth devices and vice versa, my nokia 5800 can't find it even if the "visible" option is activated.
ideas?
I'm going crazy about it, I already tried several hard resets and flashed the phone first with 2.3.5 and then with 2.3.6 firmwares... nothing fixed the issues...
thanks in advance for any response
ps: sorry for my english, I'm italian >_<
i had exactly the same wifi issue but flashing a new rom solved the problem. reset and reflashing the same rom didn't help. you tried several 2.3.6 versions?
you might try flashing another modem.

it had the official 2.3.5 (italy), I flashed it with the same firmware and nothing happened, re-flashed it with 2.3.6 (Baltic 13th June 2012) and nothing happened...
noone knows?
Alright, I have very strange problem on my phone.
It happens when I browse the internet with my phone. Suddenly, I lose my connection. Then the phone shuts down. When I open in again it has 1-4% battery and still no connection.
I have no idea what the reason could be.
I've tried to change rom but it didnt help. From 4.0.4->4.0.4 (currently)
Thank in advance
I'd like to add to OP that my phone shuts down after long use, I dont have to be at the internet.
Does anyone have any idea?
Hmmm.. which rom exactly did u have and do have at the moment ? Btw morjes, suomesta kans:silly:

Moro.
I had SlimICS first, then I changed to XI9000 -style ROM.
But I dont think the problem is because of the rom, as I didnt have the problem first on SlimICS, but then suddenly it just "appeared".
Should I try to change the modem?
Weird.. yes, i would try to change modems, if that doesnt work i would maybe try a re install of the rom.. btw which modem are u using? I want to use xxjvu because i get a better connection with that but i get the roaming sign after installing it :X

I had JVT.
Alright, I flashed JVU now, the phone doesnt turn off anymore. But still it loses the connection, which basicully means I have to restart my phone.
Can you recommend any other modems? (modems that work in Finland)
Well, the one on my sig works good.. but that doesnt sound like a modem issua at all, i think u might have to try and install a new rom.. i wpuld suggest a FULL wipe and sd card formating before u do

Yes, I think you're right.
Im going to flash 2.2/2.3 with odin and format sd-card, after that I will flash again this 4.0.4 rom. If it doesnt work then I have no clue.
Thanks
Yes, that sounds right. Good luck!
Alright..
So I flashed Darky's Resurrection Edition Android 2.3.6 with Odin (repartition+pit+pda)
It didnt help, phone still shuts down.
Now I think Im going to backup my sd-card and try a 2.2 Rom.
could be battery related
Hi,
you've probably solved your problem by now, but just in case, here's what I found researching this issue (I have the very same problem):
This seems to be happening to various phones (although, SGS I9000 and its variants are the most frequent), various ROM and kernels. It is very
probably battery related as the solutions which helped people ease the problem the most were sticking a bit of a bussiness card under the battery
to make contacts tighter, scratch the contacts on the battery itself with scissors or some other metal tool as they have become oxidized through
frequent charging (this significantly reduced number of my shutdowns, but didn't eliminate them) and buying a complete new battery (by far the
most successful solution, although, even this didn't help some people )
