Brand New At&t Galaxy i957 BRICKED...PLEASE HELP! - Galaxy Tab 8.9 General

I bricked my new i-957 by repartitioning via ODIN. 4 days of searching everywhere and nobody has a solution other than to jtag or send to Samsung which is not an option. The unit does not respond to any key functions or Vol + - with Power. The only thing that happens is the QHSUSB_DLOAD on the device manager! Anyway, if I cant find a solution asap I will sell to the highest bidder. Please PM only me if interested in buying.

Sorry to say man but it's probably unrecoverable. Try searching for the qhusb stuff in the skyrocket forum there are multiple threads on trying to recover from it.

Why does repartitioning brick? Was OP unlucky or is this a known bug?
And what does repartitioning even do? I thought there was 16 (or 32 or 64) GB of internal storage that was shared between all partitions?

Never ever re partition in odin. It's an unspoken rule

Yeh its gone, the best thing u can do now is sell on eBay,and get some cash back

Shot in the Dark
Can't access the attachment from work, but someone used a driver from qualcom on his S2 to get it connected via ODIN again. He flashed the wrong ROM after that, but maybe it will help you to connect thru ODIN once again and flash a good ROM.
EDIT helps if you add url:

Any one help my sgs? It died in me

Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App-if you can please post me back as my sgs went from being bricked to working again then just crazy .....
I have no clue how to help you.
The amount of information provided by you just overwhelms me.
But i have an idea, give me a second.
*gets magic 8ball*
*shakes it*
Try using it in a room that faces north.
Okay ; you've got a sense of humour, but posted another as I realised how limited in dialogue that first one was, thing is I have no experience of flashing + such + my sgs bricked I had to get a jig as my galaxy was shipped without the 3 button method,I tried to flash using odin but due to my basically non existent knowledge I never done it correctly obviously + the phone I previously had was now not registering on any network,it was as if it was locked or something so I downloaded dagentooboy's app (samsung galaxy s unlock) but even that app asked me if I had an sgs,I then tried Rom. Manager, things like that but nothing could recognise my device , this is basically my problem , I formatted my internal + external memory (8gb + 16gb) I think maybe I shouldn't have? My reason for formatting both was due to me not knowing how my sgs had bricked in the 1st place, all I ask for is some advice here hope you can help out? If you can it would be most appreciated, like I say I am a total noob,regards.....

You are not the first one to semi-brick your sgs, the key is usually to get it into download mode.
Then use odin to flash a stock rom.
So i think you know how to get into download mode, and you already have odin installed.
It can be all found through search or just browing the stickies .
Taking a quick look i found this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=846913
Grab a rom that seems suitable, no idea where you are from, you didn't say.
Flash hit with odin, there even a picture at the bottom of that post where to put what file.
I'm gonna go sleep now, try that and post results.
Thanks , forgot to say I'm from u.k.(scotland),will try as you say tomorrow,MUCH APPRECIATED.....

the biggest problem on my situation is I cannot boot android to check usb debugging
i dont think it is important if you flash the kernel mentioned at the link
I had the same troubles on windows 7. odin stops randomly when downgrading from ICS. Tried it on a different pc with Windows xp en that works for me. Also you can try a shorter usb cable. it has something to do with usb communication.

tried that too stuck at the exact same point. I guess I have to repartition but I cannot get root access
First thing you should do is check other threads about that around here.
If you can get it into download mode, you could give flashing with Odin a try. If it doesn't get stuck at factory.fs, then you're not superbricked.
If it does get stuck, then you have 2 more hopes:
- HOPE 1
- HOPE 2
If those don't work either...I'm afraid it's off to the Samsung Service center for a shiny new motherboard.
Best of luck to you and hope you get your Note up and running as soon as possible...

I really don't know what to say... For some people that worked, for some it didn't. At least it gave you a bit more control over your phone.
I think you should seek your answer either in that thread, or with the original poster of the thread.
Sorry I can't help you more than that as I haven't personally been through this...
Really hope you get your phone back and running as quickly as possible...
Best of luck!
What you need is a Pit file for partitioned disk.
Look for it and it will work with pc odin.

Just like he said... Flash The Stock ROM via ODIN. I tried Installing the same Cusom ROM like 4 times and flashed the stock one and it worked perfect.
I agree. Flash ICS. I like N7000XXLRT. Do not do full wipe! You will brick your phone. If you want root and Clockworkmod Recovery, flash an Odin version of Speedmod kernel. When Speedmod is flashed you can do a full wipe.
Google this : speedmod-kernel-n7000-ics-k3-13-Odin.tar
Will this brick be the hard brick a Samsung jig has no use for? I'm sure I have done this on my note by accident.
it depends if the phone responds to pc and is able to go to download mode.. then chances are there that it can be revived. but if its totally dead then ... samsung service
I have Justplugged my phone into pc and as I stated yesterday it is throwing USB not recognised errors. As I can't get onto any mode I'm hoping a jig will get me into download mode to use Odin as Samsung service is miles away from home.. If all else fails looks like I'll be throwing my much loved note in the bin and purchasing an s3
may be jig will help u.. but if its under warranty then go for that.. i dont prefer s3 much but note 2
ITs not under warranty so that's a no go. My jig will be here tomorrow and have bought two off different sellers for £1.50 on eBay. Wish me luck
good luck mate
Nope, this USB jig hasn't helped me looks like have a paperweight and a hefty bit of my wages going out for a new phone
if u still love the note go for a motherboard replacement
I have found a jtag service in the uk from a good reviewed website. I'm goin to give this a try as it doesn't break the bank and seems legit.

How to unbrick samsung galaxy Mini GTS5570

My phone, (Samsung GT S 5570) Just died a few days ago while I was installing some software. The software was Clockwork Mod. To install this, I used an application from Google Play called -Rom Manager. After installing the app, I clicked something like flash clockwork mod, and a list was brought to me, from which I was to select my phone model, but unfortunately my wasn't among the list. So, I picked the first Model type and proceeded. The clockwork Mod was installed correctly and so I went to the next attempt and that was to Partition my SD Card. Consequently, my phone went off and I thought that it would restart on itself but....! I tried to restart it on my own but the LCD didn't even turn on. What do I do? To make it worse, the phone won't even go into recovery mode. The phone was already rooted, so no warranty. I suppose the phone is Bricked. Someone please help.
My email address, [email protected]
Thanks in advance.
Your phone is bricked and it's because you were trying to install CWM for a device that was probably not even remotely close to yours. Also wrong section I would suggest posting in this section forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1311 and seeing if they might be able to help you.

NEVER install CWM via rom manager it just isn't compatible with our device and 99.99% of people brick their phones because of it. And yes, your phone is probably bricked, hard brick. What u can do now is to try a usb jig method which is available in the guide in my sig.

You're totally out of luck on this one mate, now you have a very nice paper weight if you still have a valid warranty, just bring the brick to the service center and they'll fix it for you, but never ever mention flashing, clockwork mod or anything related it happened while updating with kies, that's it and guide for making usb jig provided by tietganFTW works, I made one for myself already and tested it on mini, so there's nothing to worry about on this one

umm ????galaxy tab 2 ????? I think your in the wrong forum, this is the HTC One M7 forum, and if you got those rom's from here, im not surprised they are failing, they are not for your device in any way, shape or form, stop flashing now, you will seriously break your device beyond repair.
you need to be here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-2
