There are a ton of really amazing Sensation themes that I really like, and would love to have on my Vivid. How hard is it to port themes to the Vivid? How about just icon packs?

You can't port a theme...mainly because they are the sold of other roms...you'd have to port the whole Rom or just create a theme that matches it...
Or, you can flash this http://rootzwiki.com/index.php?/top.../Mods-Support!-MOD-list-added-to-second-post!
That is the stock ics sensation that has been ported to the vivid...everything works except WiFi tether...but you should be able to use most if not all sensation themes and mods

Yeah I tried that rom already and this theme only works with V1, not the newer version.

Try blitz or pegasus. Maybe the core-droid port on rootz too.

Not sure what you are asking...there are tons and tons of themes in the market that you can try...what you linked to was a ROM just from looking at the topic title...can you elaborate on what you are asking?
Im looking for a zip update that changes the whole phone theme like the link that I posted. I don't like using home replacements. I hope this makes sense?

It sucks because you could use ninjamorph or metamorph if you weren't on the aria...have you tried circle bat mod? You can't change everything but you can change quite a few things...

Hey guys I have a Samsung mesmerize and
There are some great themes for the fascinate and none for the mesmerize,so im looking at porting some of the fascinatw themes to the mesmerize and I downloaded an application fromxda that was supposed to port the theme over but it never worked. So to make a long story short I need help in porting themes!!! Thanks guys

I've loaded the Super Clean ROM .2 for Mes and like it a lot. I tried to load the Ultimate Revolution Theme http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=830410on the off chance it would work and it didn't. Can anyone point out what the differences are that need to be tweaked so that it would work?

the frameworks are different...you would have to swap out the images between the two themed fascinate framework and your mesmorize framework...as well as make any xml edits to replicate those in the fascinate theme

Could you let us know when you get them posted out there? I don't think that anything personal from your phone will be on the apk's. I'm 99% sure that user info is stored in a database format. It's like when you go into "Manage Apps" and choose to delete all application data. The app still works but you have to input your personal info and change from the default settings again.
For those who haven't yet seen these, sopL87 has created some Skins that work with ANY sense 2.0 rom, i found these over in the DHD forums and have got to say that his work is fantastic!

Simply put the .apk files onto your sd card, use your favourite file mananger to install them, then select them as you would with any other sense skin ( personalization button(bottom right corner of sense dock) > skins > select your skin > select) and boom

They work on my S-ON, Htc Incredible 2

Sure they do... i've used them since i got my incredible S, and i'm S-ON with stock rom.
@Madeli you put the htc sense 2.1 theme apk file in astro and ran it right ??
not in astro... dont use astro i just install it like any apk ... put it on my sdcard then install it. Then it shows up in skin settings and voila

My favorites are: revolution, distincion and black n bold in that thread.

Nice was looking fo rsome new themes. The ones on HTC hub are age old.
as others have pointed out they are working fine on stock rom. in using an unlocked UK incredible s, S-ON, stock froyo rom, works fine for me, i use Adao file manager or astro file manager to locate and install them, then just select them as you usually would (personalize button > skin > select the one you want)

Are there any that make use of the Minimal Framework icons?
Could anybody port the Sense 3.0 lockscreen? or maybe make a zip that will work on CM 7 of the one for MIUI? Not sure if its possible but thanks in advance.

Still not a development issue, I have requested this be moved.
The two zips are for MIUI. Yes they work. Just wondering if someone can do a full port or make those files good for CM 7 flashable. Im willing to do all testing.
For MIUI, there is a Sense 3 lockscreen. It works almost exactly like the real thing. What I really want would be the honeycomb lockscreen...

There is a honeycomb lockscreen in the MIUI lockscreen theme thread. It's not exactly the same but it's close enough IMO.

have same problem... and im up for this thread... i just ask sigurd why he remove them ;/
The tweaks require alot of the edited apks. Like framework-res.apk. framework.jar, settings.apk, systemui.apk, and a few others

That's a huge task to port all those tweaks. Including the tweaks that are downloaded and installed from rcmix teams server. Good luck on your quest to port those over. I sure wouldn't attemt it. To big of a headache there.
