I would like to know if there is a way to make the capacitive button lights brighter. I would also like to know how to permanently keep the capacitive lights on with evil D's nxsense rom. Thank you in advance.

If you're rooted you can send the value 255 to /sys/devices/i2c-0/0-0066/leds/button-backlight/brightness this turns it on. Any other value (say 0) turns it off. You will need to write an app (service) to receive the Intent.ACTION_SCREEN_ON intent and run a su shell command to turn off the button lights. Example code here.
Code:
echo 255 > /sys/devices/i2c-0/0-0066/leds/button-backlight/brightness
echo 0 > /sys/devices/i2c-0/0-0066/leds/button-backlight/brightness
If I were to go to the system/devices and find the led capcitive lights file, what exactly do I input and how???

You don't seem to understand what I am saying here, I was asking if there is a way to make them brighter and I already know how to turn on the led lights using gscript.

No, there isn't. They're at full brightness.
O alright thanks but is there a way to have a sense camera while on stock 2.3

closest you'd get is through CM7. if you want that, just go back to froyo and you'll get a lot more customizability
And if I were to flash cyanogenmod, how exactly would I change the stock camera into an HTC sense camera

it won't be the sense camera. it'll just have some features. if you need anything else, search is your best friend
Alright thank you for the info

I know we are all excited about ice cream sandwich! was wondering if we get it for our phone does that mean we will have two sets of buttons? can we remove the soft buttons and just use the one's we have? Seems like it would be a easy of screen space for nothing.
Cheers

With ICS you can hide the on screen soft buttons whenever you want, and use the traditional Google buttons...

Hiding won't be an option as those buttons won't be included in our update if it comes. Now Google has officials that no is for nexus one cause of old hardware, doubts have started to creep in my mind too.

Try find s3 locker in there. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.lockscreen.magiclocker
Hoping to find a rom that will get rid of all bloatware yet still have full function of device ie. Front and back cam. (I skype fam alot) i really like the cm mod and akop but not having cam hurts.
Im using a tmous samsung galaxy tab 10.1 and just reverted back to stock

A lot of nexus users have the problem of the led light notification not working when they buy the phone all u need is flash the stock ROM and it will be fixed
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
I don't think it's that it doesn't it's just that it takes too long to flash. I think the way it is by default is on for 1 second and then off for 9. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong
