Yes, there have been multiple (now defunct) threads about it. The original (huge) thread is over at General.
I just downloaded via torrent at 2.5MB/s and wating for nandroid backup to finish
i couldnt find it in the development section , a bit uncommon to put it in general section dont you guys think ??

if that was the case the note dev section would be empty because there was only 1 custom rom in this section and it was closed due to inactivity, the rest are just re-packaged and tweaked stock samsung roms.

Personally i think the mods should move it here and make this thread closed , i only posted it coz i couldnt find it in development section as this is the place i look for roms ... anyways time to flash ... seems solid and stable except for the 1.2 ghz cpu .. underclocked ...

No! But custom ROMs are always there for you. Maclaw's CM9 is based on original ICS.
It can be. But Samsung won't provide it. Maclaw had made a CM9(ICS) build which works perfectly 95% but flashing it will void your warranty!

Go to the Dev section, look for [ICS] tags in the threads.
Currently the camera does not work on any ics builds, this may be fixed in the future. If you do decide to flash make sure you read the instructions on how to flash in the rom thread.
Samsung will never provide an official ics.

Where have you been bro? Lagloose and some members (i think) of galaxyICS team already made a patch for cam. although it has no preview. And OP, official ICS, NO Unofficial ICS, WIP already, almost perfect

it can b upgraded via cm9 as said b4 ....but since u ahve bought your phone recently u may want to check the model no ... the roms here are mainly for GT S5830 not its variants like GT S5830i ....if your phone is GT S5830i then the roms wont work for you

When will Galaxy Note N7000 get AOSP Jelly Bean port ? Many other low end device like Galaxy S , HTC HD2 already have jelly bean ported to them ? When will it be on galaxy note ? I have been searching for jelly bean roms for my note every day , but not even one :-( . Hope some devs will port JB soon

We don't want Samsung's ****ty Jelly Bean rom , I hate Touchwiz and guess many others too!!!!! We just want beautiful pure android on our phone :-( . Is there anybody out there who has the port for N7000 , or who is willing to port ? I know cm10 is on the way , but its a long wait , atleast for few weeks i guess . Other phones can atleast taste jellybeans but unfortunately we Note users cant even see it run on our phone

It will atleast take few weeks I guess !!! But i saw cm10 running on LG optimus 4x , so it might be soon enough . I just wanted to see JB running on my note.

Well, all android ROMs are device-specific, so, don't flash any ROMs made for other devices unless you know what you're doing.

There are 5 million plus Note users out there , but none wants to port JellyBean for their note :-( , cm10 alpha is available for so many devices but not for Note !!!!!!!! I dont understand why !!!!!!

1.) there will never be an Official update to 404 or 411
2.) unofficial CM9 and CM10 are on its way, but are still extremely unstable and/or buggy. so if you NEED (and i mean really need, not playing around) your phone i do not recommend those to you. if you dont really need your phone (business, etc) and want to have the latest 411 rom, you are free to try them, but beware of some bugs (cam/video, video/youtube, sometimes random reboots and no mobile internet,.....)
Go to SGA Android Development section and look for it.There are a lot of roms which are ICS themed...

I have updated my galaxy ace to android 4.04 through cynomodgen9 but after updation i have prob in playing videos and camera too doesnot work properly,Is there any way to get rid off these problems? In this rom there is no Radio,so is there any app that can be install to full the exact replacement of my previous rom Radio

for now its better if you stick to cm7 based roms... these are stable and almost bug free.. however if you choose cm9 or cm10 you'll have to face daily troubles.. i've tried almost 10 cm9/cm10 based roms but switched back to cm7 as cm9/cm10 are very buggy + unstable !!

Keep calm and wait because our fellow developers are working for us totally free spending their spare time. Not even Samsung, that we've paied, is working to bring us a brand new version of Android. I hope like you to run a CM 9/10/whatever fully working rom as soon as possible but annoying them will not make things going faster.

Oh okay. Try Cyanogen Mod 10.1 PRO from OldDroid. It's got some bugs (Like pinch to zoom), but super fast and stable.
I am also busy with a new build so you could wait for that too

[ROM]CM7.2-RC3-AA[Update 4.7.12][BLACKHAWK-OC-&-FIREKERNEL-OC] Rom Is Awesome i ever Found on XDA.
I have tried more then 50 Roms for my Galaxy Ace.
But this is the most Stable, Smooth, Fast & Smart Looking Rom.
I am using this Rom about 3 Months & confidently say that this is the best Rom For Galaxy Ace GT-S5830.
I want to thank this Developer for giving us such a Wonderful Rom.

Sorry I know u ask for JB, but have you tried Democrazy CM7 ? Is pretty good.
Now I throw a question? Why would you use CM10 that is a lot heavier than CM7 which doesnt let much space to install things in it?
What is the point of having latest but super limited phone?
Is there something that I am missing?

in CM10.1 i found huge battery draining.and none of good script to increase internal memory.
thats why i m using this Rom.
But i m eagerly waiting For full Bug free JB Rom.
I donno what was my mistake. But on whatever thread I go & though I'm kind, some people on xda are targeting me like I'm their enemy. Feeling left out...

There's a bunch of JB roms, I'm using right now CyanogenMod 10.1 PRO and is awesome everything works smoothly I just have one problem though, I can't use a VPN. If you dont mind then that's a good choice.
