Otterbox Defender for Nexus S? Is it real?

Is this posting new or old? I know previously Otterbox said they will not make a case for the Nexus S, so I am wondering if they changed their mind or if this Amazon posting is from when they were planning on making a case. (Note how there is none in stock right now.)

No it is not, I live in Colorado and called otterbox yesterday because they are only 50 miles from me and they told me that they do not have anything in the works for the Nexus S, which means I guess that there is no chance right now!!!! Oh well maybe if they get enough inquireies they might but I doubt it!!!

the thing is that Otterbox was going to make the case but then they decided not to make it.

Actually I believe they did release it, but it had problems fitting because of the curved screen. Then they took it off their web site. I remember when it came into stock but at that point I was tired of waiting.

since it's not real, can some one point me to an alternative?

Why no 3rd party book covers?

I just picked up a Nexus 10, and wanted to get a tri-fold book cover for it. But to my surprise, they don't exist.
In fact, I cant find any book covers for this device besides the official one:

Why have no 3rd party case makers taken advantage of the removal back, and made more book covers for this device?

Sadly, because this tablet has not been a sales-breaker. In fact, there are rumours that say that Google will not keep the full size format in next gen.

I just bought my nexus 10 and while waiting for delivery I went on eBay to get a book cover..
Quite a few from U.S. suppliers, Quality makes, delivery makes it a tad expensive for us down under,
Several from the U.K. quite cheap, and the usual offerings from Hong Kong and Mainland China.
I bought from the U.K. cause mail from China takes wayyyy to long and things get lost...
( an sometimes thing's arrive safely and reasonably within time.) But you never know..
So hop on EBay if its available to you, or Amazon probably have them to.
Kogan's also have nice book covers for N10, $25...

The 3rd party ones are bulky and heavy. I think I might bite the bullet and get the official one even though I can only find it in red and it doesn't double as a stand :/

How heavy is it?

Less than 1 lb I would guess. I just took it off and it barely weighs anything.

I just like the idea of covering the back and corners to. If , God forbid, I do drop it I want the case getting scuffed not my nexus

[Q] Flip covers

I've noticed that a friend of mine still holding on to an old Galaxy S III has a nice little flip cover case for it (apparently itself a Samsung product); I believe it is this one. I'm looking for something similar for my Nexus 6 - who can give me a few pointers? (Keep in mind that I live in Canada.)

I'm looking for something as well. Lots of similar ones on Amazon, but looking for something proven.

I ended up ordering the Case-Mate Stand Folio, and it got here today; I think it will do what I wanted it to do.

I got the Case-mate from Google play and I really don't like it. I love the idea and using it as a stand but I don't like the way it feels when it is open and I am trying to use it. Not sure what I am going to do with it now...

Mine didn't come with a case ? I use Otterbox.

Mine came with a case, I think it's restricted to Europe or something like that. I wouldn't advise getting it, the material peels off and it starts to look awful. What's more, after a few months of very moderate use, it tore in two places (the thin parts near connectors and the power buttons). I got myself a Spigen and it's much better (apart from that the ir blaster is covered).

I'm in the UK but bought my M8 from Amazon Germany because it was cheaper, it came with a HTC branded, translucent grey, TPU case

I founded on amazon but went with a poetic instead

I'm not sure about you, but from where we came from, aliexpress is the way to go!

Bought this snap cover from ebay

Comes in multiple colors. Seller is awesome. Should protect against scratches from bumps and the problem areas of the watch. It wasn't as bulky as I thought. I got the black one. He sent me a white glow in the dark one because of a shipping delay of no fault of his. The white one wasnt my cup of tea but the black rocks. You do have to remove it to charge. It clips on pretty good. Im surprised i havent seen it mentioned here with all the sanding and such. The groves are not nearly as pronounced as the picture shows. Mine was smoother which i liked. Great with a screen protector for scratch protection. Hopefully the picture uploads otherwise his ebay name is archer28.

i found him by typing in lg g watch r case on ebay. his name is archer28. he said he would be listing more next week. tell him Jeremiah sent you. i thought it was a great idea so we were chating back and forth a bit. great guy. said he was taking a break this week. i told him i was gonna post on xda so im sure more will be listed. large range of colors also

It's 3D printed, possibly designed by himself.
My only gripe is that you gotta remove it before charging. I can see me doing that each time I come home from work.
It's not on his eBay yet, but I'm eager to purchase it if the price is right

it was under 10 bucks. i think for me its more of an accessory where i wouldnt always use it but its perfect for those times where you would be hesitant to wear the watch or worry about it because of it getting damaged. its really easy to remove so its really not a big deal to remove before charging. keep checking next week or drop him a quick email through ebay. im positive more are coming and he took a break this week

Yea i use the cover all the time with no damage to the watch yet with it on. i just snap it off to charge. it isnt perfect but a pretty darn good solution. i dont want to sand mine or damage it while it has a warranty. eventually if they do a holiday sale i may get the huawei watch.

I been buying these from him for a while now ordered 3 so far because I keep losing them there great tho and great price! His father just died tho so he shut down for a while an eBay message he sent me said. hopefully he comes back because he is the only guy with this on eBay right now with watch covers.

I agree. I got the orange one and found a strap band and watch face to match.

Is possible buy a cover? Because in eBay its ended?
