Ok so I FINALLY got all my stuff for my setup. I haven't even finished my mount but I had to install to test everything out.
Ok so first off if anyone's interested in part number's let me know. First impressions r good. Everything works perfectly as it should. Sound is close to my Alpine that I had in right b4. Subs hit just as hard and sound is still being fine tuned. Ill post more pics soon.

Just a short preview. Still have to finish everything and build a custom box. I don't have all the proper tools and thats y its taking so long. Then there's life but it'll get done and b awesome!!

This should be pretty cool once done. Keep posting your progress. I am also installing the N7 in my whip.
Yea I'm hoping to get everything done as planned. I'm gonna rid myself completely of a radio. After seeing that Nissan titan I did some research and found a cheaper alternative to making it work.
I'm gonna run an aux to rca to an equalizer, equalizer out to a 4 channel amp and out to subs. Should work. I'm thinking of getting a Bluetooth receiver to sit btw n7 and equalizer but I'm gonna test sound quality first. Will post more pics later and when I'm done ill post a video.

I had the same idea but I would have kept a single din radio and create rails for the tablet to slide in and out making it easy to take it out for use.

Just a bump to show progress. Hope u like

I'm into it, tho i dont have a car, but they do interest me
Please do share some.
I'm not huge into it but it is an interest of mine. Besides, I'm sure anyone here can recognize the beauty behind it all.
I use to be real big into it. DB drags and such. That was like 6-10 years ago though. My last system had 3 13" JL w7 powered by 3 JL 1000's... And yes my mother was right, my hearing has gone to ****.

one of the many pics of the build.....
and heres some of the one that i finished up last week.
Both need carpet, and the first one is getting something even more special.
there is an amprack in the top, there will be a flush mounted amp in there.
Let me know what you think.
nice boxes!!! wanna build me one???
I have a passing interest in car audio, just not a huge priority in the budget unfortunately.
This is what I have so far in my car:
dvd receiver with sirius and someday soon, bluetooth
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/In-Dash/DVD-Receivers/AVH-P3100DVD
front speakers
http://www.bostonacoustics.com/Pro60SE-P601.aspx
rear deck:
http://www.bostonacoustics.com/SR95-P627.aspx
Looking at these for the bass:
http://www.bostonacoustics.com/G310-P566.aspx
I already have a box that is in the recommended dimensions for these speakers.
Also, what is a good amp (not crazy expensive) to push these, or is there a better deal on 10inch woofers.
I'm looking for clean sound more than overall thump.
Any suggestions?
your link for the subs returned a server error
and im all about building something and shipping it....lol
Boston is an excellent brand, but compared to their retail pricing, there are better, less expensive options out there.
If youre looking for some ideas, shoot me a PM, i know of a few very good, lesser known companies that I have used, and also that i still use.
try this again. the 10"subs I've been looking at:
http://www.bostonacoustics.com/G310-P566.aspx
I agree, retail they are expensive, but they can be found for half of retail if you shop around.
Meant to edit that post, i clicked a second time and it worked.
They are killer sounding subs for sure. 300/pair isnt all that bad to be honest.
Hey everyone, Just hopped on board after long time of using the forums, figured I might as well start posting and learning more and more.

had 7 of them for a while, bought broken ones and fixed them, had a Jtag also.
And onto cars, I had my dream car, but wasn't the right time to own it, so I sold it. I am currently just driving around a 05 civc.
Meet my 94 Supra TT
Hope this all works out for a better introduction. Like I said, I hope to stay an active member, as I'd really like to know how to create apps and such.
That is the best introduction i have ever seen!!!
I my self are a xbox 360 fixing enthusiast!
I got a premium for free not reading discs and it only cost me £40 for a new drive!
then i got an elite for free with rrod, but i couldn't fix it. So i got £26.09 when i sold it on eBay.
So i bought a Ps3 off eBay that didn't read discs and that come to a total of £118, and they are about £160 second hand.
Anyway, nice supra!
Thanks man, I really tried to wait until I could kinda show everything, besides just talking about it. If anyone ever really needs me, I'll probably be hanging out in the G2 section, until I get put on a concession line and get the incredible, and Evo
I've been an XDA member since 2008 and want to give something back to the XDA community.
I'm offering a free copy of my band's new album to everyone at XDA.
Thank you for everything.

Yup, we recorded everything in our homes with pretty minimal gear really. The vocals we recorded in a closet. Literally!
Well good job, sounds very polished! Some of the mixing is very nice
Sometimes the bathroom works quite well for vocals too by the way (tiled ones)..........
lift is my favorite.. just wished it had a little stronger bass...
Otherwise GREAT STUFF!!!
gotta sound out for me how to say the name RIFAS have no idea
is it like:
Rye-Fuss
"Rye-fuss". Exactly. How to get across the pronunciation was a concern of mine. That's a good one.

Yes, I am learning after effects, and have been using some of his tutorials to help. I liked this one in particular, and even though it was the hardest one I have done yet, was worth it, it has a really nice effect.
As i am learning aftet effects i really wanted to see if it would serve as a platform to create bootanimation's., as most of the tutorials out there seem to imply you edit a bunch of stills. I think this way works much better. Figured i would start out tweaking some cool stuff as i am learning, and as my skills progress, add more and more of what i have learned as i go.
not bad although i hate green.
I can easily change the colors. Might put out different color versions.

Looks good, nice job. I prefer blue personally but either way I would give this a shot. With all the people complaining about their phone rebooting you have to give them something nice to look at when it does. Good work.

Hi guys, lately I have been thinking about making a holder for my Nexus to go in my car, so finally took the steps, a few weeks ago to make one, the first one was too heavy and just not right, so I decided to start making another.
It had to be light and easy to use.
The Nexus dock, has OTG, Charge and Audio. I can honestly say that it is starting to look the part and works flawlessly.
Here are some pictures of the first attempt,
http://fixer14.com/me/me/Projects/Nexus7/Nexus_First_%20Prototype/
Here is the progress on the second Build, wjhich is the one I am going to go with, It is not finished yet, but you will get the general Idea, soo far.
http://fixer14.com/me/me/Projects/Nexus7/Nexus_Second_Prototype/
I have also just within the last half hour finished cutting out what will be the front facia for the Holder.
Hi there, quick update on things, have managed to get the wooden front fascia fixed to molding, and have started to reshape it. Really nice fit and I deliberately made the holder to be 1/2 size of the nexus as it did not need to be full size and also adds a bit of quirkiness to it.
I have tried to incorporate a slight angle to the way the nexus will finally sit, when mounted, I do hope this is pleasing to those that visit and have a look.
More to come and will post when ready.
Here is an update, all sanded and filled ready for spraying now.
Something is wrong with your first pictures and the links. They are not showing up. I would like to see those pictures because I will also soon be installing the nexus 7 on my car.
Thanks!

Picture Links now fixed.
Very nice! Thanks for the pictures!
