Thanks for ur quick response...and by the time you do it Huexxx would release 4-5 versions of his ROM ..no Worries i can wait, However if you could point me a direction from where i could start making a theme of my own ...it would really help me....and may be i could help you in making one as well
Is this theme going ahead or what? Id love to see sense4 on my OB!
A little patience. The guy is having exams right now
Hello everybody,
I think most people already wondered why theres no option to enable tabled ui, but ICS has native support for it.
It would be great if s.o. knows how to do this and has enough time left
If so it's also great if that person posts a reply and creates a new thread in the "Development Section"
Thanks in advance
If you want tablet UI try Paranoid Android ROM.
Its also a CM based ROM.Its really a nice ROM.

Wow big thanks, altough I was looking for a mod (Not for a Rom). This Rom is amazing!
Do you know if it has an active developement , because i would expect an up to date Rom.
But i'll try, features are great
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda premium
Yes it still active. More devices added daily.
Bugs getting cleared....Yeah there are some bugs with the camera.....well no modded ROM was ever perfect. And whenever you change the dpi or tablet to phone features don't forget to restart, its a must.
Okey, thanks!

Using themes is tricky. You would have to extract the PNG files and replace them.
For using boot animation open the mtz file with 7zip or winrar. Inside "boot " folder you will find bootanimation.zip. You can easily replace in CM7 in /system/media folder. If u use root explorer don't forget to set rw-r--r-- permission.
Peace

To make it look like MIUI you can get MiHome launcher from play store(comes with locker, you can apply its native themes). Also there is a similar launcher called QQLauncher you can try that as well. And of course DxHome as well.

i had the same issue... i tohught maybe my service provider has changed it to 3g coz i had put up a request for the same...
but while it was showing 3g my cell was not heating up which it usually does in HSDPA ... so according to me there was no drain while it was showing 3g instead of E...
provided i din't stay long on CM9 rc1 bcz it din't support Foursquare & pics were grainy when i checked em later.. ( for me )

Hi all! I am not new but it's been a long while since I been around. I flashed back to stock 2.2 cause I had same kinds of issues like reboot and sod with every ROM I have tried. I guess since they are ports there is one thing that just isn't right lol. I know nothing about developing but it seems we are always so close but yet so far with this phone. Anyway I just got my phone back from warranty replacement and thought I would check in and see if there is any improvements with these issues and what ROM would be the most stable for day to day use? I have read through all the threads already and I would really appreciate if someone could bring me up to date on your thoughts? Thanks a bunch to everyone here and the help you have contributed!

if you are looking for most stable rom with everything working ..... than i will recommend Sharp Fix1 with kernel from Sharp Fix2 ...... this combination is perfect, battery friendly, game friendly..... everything working like cam, fm ,wifi etc .. So, here is what u need to do for a fresh Sharp Fix1 installation ...
1. install RC3 from tjstyle
2. install Sharp Fix1
3. install kernel from Sharp FIx2
4. (optional) install UOT patch from vivekb , it gives you a nice power widget in notification screen
i hope you can find all required files in respective threads ....
Yeah that is the combo I was on before I decided to throw in the towel and flash back to stock. I had the same issues with the sharp ROM as I do with all the others. Probably not as bad though. Thanks anyway bud.
Hey you have stock 2.2? if you do can i have that? If you even have cwm recovery..
Don't use this rom due to random bootloop .

Hello Pator57,
First I want to express my intentions with this post: I'm VERY glad that you have started to work on these ROM ports, and I'm only willing to help ya so that you can contribute more and more for the wildfire.
For me, a ROM presenting shouldn't be done in this way. First , lets start with the thread name-you should specify what actually is in this thread, is it a port/mod/build-from-source/etc, not only 'aokp update' for example, you should specify a date/version of the specific ROM , so that the users can keep an eye on the ROM since its almost certain that it will have some bugs , that should be fixed in new versions.
Later, in the thread its good not only to explain how and what you did it, but to put screen-shots/videos. To give details about the features, the ROM base and from where did you ported it, about the performance and some glitches. Plus that don't forget to include some disclaimer, so that you are not taking any responsibility for bricked phones, earthquakes or anything else. There can always be someone to point at you and claim that you bricked his precious phone. Detailed credits are also good to write, but you have made it so its OK.
Moreover, the actual zip of the ROM. Its not cool to name it 'aokp.zip' or 'miuiv4.zip'. I again think that including date/version is good, because when you make 3-4 different zips with bug fixes for example, personally i love to store more than a one version of the ROM I use and with these names it wouldn't be practical.
Of course one can rename it himself , or try the ROM to find out whats in,but(I think) these small suggestion would make you look more professional and reliable, just the way a developer/porter should look. This will give me personally convince in you, and that the things you do wont harm my phone. I hope noone will feel offended in any way. My intention as I said is only to help you, so that we can have one more ROM "producer" here. All what I wrote are personal views on how the things are done around here, its your choice whether to follow them!

I'm sure it shouldn't be called like this, because its a whole-ROM zip , and you tell that we should wipe everything when installing it,but whatever.Since its an 'update' of tathanhlam66's ROM , why do you make a whole new thread and not just continue what tathanhlam66 started ?
EDIT: Plus that , you have not edited both threads as I suggested you, which is making them BOTH look just funny. If you are not serious , and constantly state 'This is an update...blqblq', they will continue to look funny and futile!
and i hope you got permission to post and uptate his work?

As on the MIUI thread, is it possible to provide some more details on that? Screenshots, bug list?
It's quite tricky to flash a ROM without knowing the results..
There are no bug but if im wrong tell me like my miui port. But it report to doesn't boot so i will try to make it boot next weekend. And i don't need to ask permision aokp it's like miui it's an open software and no need screenshoot the rom it's an ics rom but only with some aokp option tweaks

take da one on cyanogenmod website by searching cyanogenmod galaxysmtd, u will find it, but on custom ROM in dev section, i cant giv opinion on it, every dev waste their time working for us for free, so i dont take credit on comparing them.sorry
but in my personal opinion, sticking to stock was a great idea, finding highly debloated ROM also was a good idea.
and as i m using now, i use aokp by infamous n kasper_h as they got dark theme (good for battery), excellent ui n setting, i change kernel to semaphore by mr stratosk (for performance), adding tweak by mr slaid (for liquidity n 99% nolag), changing bootsplash into my own pic n disabling bootanimation for faster boot n changing theme to look like s3. thats my ROM n setting (for now )
