there is one black P970 and one white p970
And Yes It's perfectly safe to flash a rom from here on the white p970

Changing the colour of a phone is like changing the colour of a car. The only difference is how it looks, if the model number is P970 then you can flash ROMs for P970 on it, if your model number is not that then you risk your device going into a coma.

Yes it works, but u don't need to download the app because ics has built in LED notifications (if u get any notifications the 4 touch keys are glowing or flashimg)

Absolutely right no one has yet created such thing, even I am waiting for the same for my optimus 2x.....
i think better you post the link to the ROM you using right now and request for the Developer to patch in the LG Optimus 4x screen lock patch.
because we are not the developer and we do not have the knowledge to patch in the code.:crying::crying:

Flash the European V30a kdz with NVFlash. there are guides showing you how to do it. Or just use CM10.

Hi guys as i know the lg optimus 2x has p990 in the model number and the T-mobile g2x has p999 in the model number ...the problem is that i have T-mobile written on the front of my phone but whene i checked setting===>about i found p990 in number model also i found lg p990 in the ticket under the battery !! Iwant to install a custum rom so which forum should i use this forum or the T-mobile forum ???

You can use this forum just dont flash any build related to SU660 thats Korean version of Optimus 2x
