Hello
Problem with my experia x8
hard brick
Device is dead
no connection to Pc or to the chargeur
I was trying to unloack bootloader of this experia
I want to know that there is a solution for this big problem ??
Can a technical repair it or no ??
Is you phone 11W29 or Above?(check on sticker under your battery)
If it's then try connecting to pc/usb see whether LED is on or not
If doesn't on.Mean You got yourself hardbrick and can't be fixed
if you are under warranty you can send it for repair, you cant fix it by yourself...
Send it to se, a repair shop or find a guy who own a jtag box and can use.
Good luck bro. Next time be careful

Hi, I have dropped my phone and the gold pins where the battery connects have broken and fallen out, also needs a new screen. I rang Sony Ericsson and they can fix it, but I have flashed it with custom ram....Is there anyway to remove this otherwise they wouldnt repair it.
Is it possible to power up the phone without a battery?
Cheers
i couldnt turn on phone without battery via usb cable,
im not sure about reverting to save warranty - but your problems are hardware.
sorry about that.

Don't go to a SE service centre then. Go to some random GSM repair shop, they won't care about your ROM.
fellas, i tried (and probably succeed for a bit) to unlock my bootloader as it was described as here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=17384177&postcount=3
then the SE logo appeared, and i disconnected my device. then i don't know but something happened now my phone doesn't start, it doesn't connect in flash mode, it won't do anything... what should i do ?
edit: battery was at %68. and when i connect it to a charger now, the charge led doesn't light either.
have you checked whether your MFD (manufacturing date) is <11W29? if it is >11W29 then there's a high possibility, you've bricked your phone, hard bricked it. only SE or a guy with a RiffBox or JTAG cable (or so i think) can fix it. if it's <11W29 then make sure your battery is charged and then try to boot up the phone.

That is what exactly happens when you act before reading properly..
Its solely your fault..
Now you have a hardbrick, just get the phone to the store and tell them it wouldnt power on after a update.
They will repair it for free
Next time read all info before unlocking

Well hello guys... first of all: thank you for taking your time to try to help me, I really appreciate that.
Secondnly, I was about to flash a new kernel (the lates nAa) and I had fullfilled all of the requirements on the thread. But! When I was going to pick the kernel from Flashtool i accidently picked the one that comes with the flashtool (X10_V1_BLRelock.ftf) and just now when im writing this i see that it is even named: BLRelock which i think has to mean bootloader relock(?).
However, this resulted to that i cannot boot the phone, don't get any response by pressing buttons, and no green light when trying to get to flashmode.
Ive heard that your phone gets bricked if you relock it when you're on another kernel.
Have you got any solution to this?
Kind regards
Kiwiii
Please search first.Because a lot of threads concerning this issue has been opened in XDA.
And to your problem:
Its probably a Hard brick.Means, you cant revive the phone by yourselves. You may need to use JTAG or just send the phone to Sony Repair shops. They will fix it for you. If you are under warranty just say that "My phone just went of on its own!" or anything like that as the cause of the Hard Brick. Otherwise you will have to take out some money from your pocket!

Hi everyone! I bricked my Xperia Z1, I tried flashing stock rom, pc companion, Emma tool nothing works. I sent it to Sony repair centre hoping they can flash it back for me but they claim that it is a hardware problem and I need to replace the mainboard which is so expensive I could afford a new phone with it. Any solution? Appreciate your help!
The phone is able to boot, but not able to charge. I can see the Sony logo, then it boot over and over again but it cannot charge.

My Nokia x2 also stopped charging and I took it to a trusted shop and he fixed it.
When I got home I disassembled it and checked what he's done, he soldered a wire from the microusb plug to a resistor. Everything is working now.
I guess the connection from the plug to the resistor was cut from inside the mainboard so he made an external connection.
