And, yes, that is indeed a bluetooth Apple mouse paired to my Nexus 7. See, Apple and Google can co-exist!
The keyboard is a ZaggKeys Flex and the mouse is an old bluetooth Apple Mighty Mouse that i had laying around. The case is an Exotek slim case. The keyboard works really well, and is pleasant to type on. No issues for me on the spacing or size of the keys. The mouse works surprisingly well, just needed to adjust the mouse pointer speed, everything else just worked. The case is a perfect fit, adds very little bulk to the Nexus 7 and the stand works really well. I did need to bend the clasp that holds the cover closed on the case just a tad because i found it was a bit tight and hard to undo. Not sure if what i did made much of a difference or if it just needed to break-in and loosen up a bit, but after just a couple days it no longer feels too tight, holding it firmly closed when it's supposed to and i can open it without much effort now.
This is my first foray into the Android world and enjoying the Nexus 7!
Do you know if the magic mouse can be paired with it? If so, any idea how?

Dell BT Travelmouse paired with Nexus 7
I have successfully paired a Dell BT Travelmouse via Bluetooth which I used on my old notebook (which already died).

Hey guys,
I like to watch a bit of tv/video in bed on my Nexus 7, but have found it quite uncomfortable on the wrists after a while, especially if I am (as I like to do), laying on my side. So I have been looking for a case/cover which might provide a little relief to the wrist. To be honest I've not found much. Perhaps you guys can point me in the right direct for alternative solutions. The only thing I've so far found is a "Vangoddy Cases" available on Amazon here.
Anyway, for those of you who have had similar thoughts/have problems with arthritis etc I thought I'd flag this product up. Anyone find anything else please do let me know by replying to this post.
I know the youtube vid is not for the Nexus but you get the idea!
Cheers.

This is what I ordered for mine. My old 8.9 Galaxy Tab case was like this, except this one has a hand strap which I wish I had with my old case.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008L0U8F8
Yes I have the hard case (Harlin) , since I traveling on a crowded metro to and from work. There's a pouch for usb cases.
PS this "Logitech" bluetooth keyboard for Android 3+ works
all special keys work {calendar, mail, Google music app, volume}, but
the browser does not { need to investigate}.
I love my Nexus 7 - stock and all.

I just tried a Belkin case that used those corner straps and it covered up the power button.

Just sold my Xoom so I have some extra cash and went over to best buy to find a case. This was steep at $40 but I wasn't into the kindle fire cases as they all use straps that end up blocking buttons/ports. Its not a perfect fit but it works for lack of something better.

Thanks for the pics. mine should be here shortly. Looks like it works well enough and better than the one I'm using now.
I figure when they start making decent cases for the Nexus 7, I'll cannibalize this. I'm thinking about ripping out the mount bracket thats attached to the folio part and fashioning some kind of car mount with it. Hmm..
Just arrived, wish the corners came up over the bezel just a hair further, but I turned it upside down over the bed and gave it a couple shakes, didn't go anywhere. If it had a magnet in it for a "smart" feature and the corners came up a bit more it would be excellent, as it is it's still a really nice option. Much slimmer than the navitech case I was using.

Yeah it looks like it might fall out because they don't quite get over the top of the corners, but it seems to work well.
This is what you get on a boring Friday night.
Parts:
DVD case
White cardboard
Whiteout
Ducktape
Glue stick
I took a spare DVD case I had lying around (bonus points cause it's white and matches my desk). Then I fashioned it into a tablet stand. You do this by taking off the plastic and bending the tabs outwards. Then you secure the case in some way so that it doesn't slide. I have no string so I ducktaped the case open.
Then I took some cardboard and bent it into the proper shape to fit the Galaxy Nexus. I took an even smaller piece of cardboard and used that to make sure the Galaxy Nexus wouldn't slide out of place. I secured that using the glue stick.
Then I painted everything in whiteout to make it nice and sharp.
Obviously this could be much cleaner looking if I had the right parts but this is what I could make due with in my new apartment which has basically nothing in it.
Enjoy

I just bought a Rii Handheld keyboard (RII-518), and I am very happy with it.
It looks like this:

only smaller than you think, and it was only 35 dollars from this site: http://dx.com/p/mini-handheld-rechargeable-bluetooth-wireless-keyboard-93118
It pairs beautifully, and the only think I don't like about it is that it doesn't work right away when you turn it on. You sort of have to push a few buttons, and then change apps - but then it works fine. I usually just turn it on when I start using it, and then don't turn it off until I put the tablet away for the night.
Anyway, try it if you think it's for you.
Tempted to buy this. One of those items I would really like to test drive before I commit though. I have would be using it for note taking in class probably. Thoughts?
Looks nice n compact..
I've got one of the diNovo mini's.
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-920-000594-diNovo-Mini-Keyboard/dp/B0011FOOI2
Works well, and you have mouse control as well with the trackpad on the right.
I got this one and really like it
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004T0QLLO/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i01
Both of those are rechargeable? And have you tried to do any extensive note taking?
Seems way over priced, have seen similar ones for 10$ shipped on ebay, Chinese ones
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
Build quality on the cheap Chinese ones can be very poor though, waste of $10 if you get it and the keys don't work properly.
Well, I won't say the Rii's quality is comparable to an old IBM Model M keyboard, but it certainly works! Well worth the money IMO.
It has been said in these forums that the Galaxy Tab 2 cases fit the Nexus 10.
If that is so, what do you think the chances of this fitting are?

I think it looks good and if it works with the Nexus
Logitech makes something very similar for the g tab 10.1,and my buddy has it. I I tried to make it fit, and nothing doing. One dimension fit fine, but not the other.
Sure going to get me one of those when it comes out for the n10 though. they make lap typing possible.
Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk 2
Be careful though as i ordered another one that clips on at the corners which switches the N10 off!! Obviously the Tab 2 has its power button on the side!
I got:
http://www.kensington.com/kensingto...pert-folio-keyboard-for-android®-tablets.aspx
Although it's not aluminium, which apart from Android not fully liking UK keyboard layouts, works fine as I'm using it to type this

It looks really good. I asked the seller about compatibility with the N10 or at least to try to find out.
I found this video with the galaxy tab and I think it's the same case.

This just showed up on Amazon.ca

Looks too bulky to me but others might like it.

If you're going to stick your Nexus 10 in that you might as well have bought a Transformer.

Not really, no.
But thanks for that scintillating insight.
