Hello
My P970 was released to the network Bouygue (French mobile network) and flashed with a firmware without overlay Bouygue.
Ics official firmware going soon, so I tried to do an update with the LG mobile tool to see if everything went well:
Result, the program has relocated the overlay Bouygue.
Is it possible to remove the information that connects my P970 with Bouygue network, for have automatic updates without overlay?
Thank.

I've been trying to update my P990 to V30a for a few days now. The LG Mobile support tool either says no update or this
Web Update is not available for this latest version,
Please update using your phone as below,
1) Select Menu -> Setting -> About Phone -> Software Update
software update says latest version. but it doesn't detect my phone version (attachment)
lg pc suite says i'm on the latest version
Probably not rolled out in your area then. If you can't wait you can always download it from any of the mirrors in the v30a thread here on xda.
Ps next time please post questions in the question part of the forum.
In germany LG Tool Shows no update, too. Think that we have to wait again till it works.
Otherwise flash the KDZ! I did last night, the result: I'm back to GB-MIUI. In my opinion LG's ICS is pure crap. Laggy like hell - unusable for me.

The tool looks for the newest dutch version, while ics (v30a) is only available as 'europe open'.
I suggest smartflashing the v30a from xda.

Hi @all,
I just flashed DjangoManouche x1.0 with the Custom Kernel. Unfortunately I can't post my question in the original rom thread, because xda says I'm not allowed to. So here is my Question: After flashing everything including the correct baseband and ril my 2x tells me under phone info -> network -> provider that my provider is T-mobile PL. the problem is that my provider is o2. but the lockscreen information shows me o2 as provider.
I really don't know now if I have the correct network to use my flats properly or if I have to pay more because going over the T-mobile network.
I live in Germany.
I hope someone can help me.
By the way, the Rom is really fast and smooth compared to the stock version of ICS. almost as fast as cm10
I have what is apparently an unbranded LG P970. I purchased it on-line from a vendor in Hong Kong, but it was shipped from Singapore. It arrived with Gingerbread 2.3.4 installed. Software version is LG-P970-V20c. The OTA upgrade option doesn't exist in this version. I have tried to update to ICS using the LG PC Suite / Mobile Support Tool; both tell me there is an update available. But after spending two hours downloading the file, it tells me it can't communicate with the phone. Adding to the confusion, the LG PC Suite identifies the phone as a P970, but the LGMobile Support Tool says it is a KU5900 with v10i software. Huh?
So I want to try using one of the official ICS KDZ ROMs but I don't know which one I should use . Does it matter which one? Any recommendations? Is there an Unbranded version? I'd like the one with the least bloatware and which doesn't disable features (like hotspot) as AT&T is fond of doing to their ROMs. I also prefer an "official" ROM; I've not had great luck wiht custom ROMs. Thanks.
Hi guys! So I updated my phone using the PC companion to the latest android 4.3 made available here in the middleast region and I'm wondering how come my LTE selection is gone from the mobile networks selection. Anybody else having the problem? I'd also like to know is anybody tried flashing a different Rom region firmware and fixed the bug. Thanks in advance!:fingers-crossed:

I don`t have this problem, but i didn`t update via pc companion , i flashed the new 4.3 FTF with flashtool ..anyway if your phone is branded and/or you don`t have 4G on your carier you may not have LTE on network selection .. Sorry for my english ..
Yeah thanks! I downloaded the nordic rom for my c5503 and then flashed it. Happy to see that the LTE connection choice is back. Must be a c5502 software that was realeased for the middleeast version. Thanks anyway!
