Static noise with calls?

Hi,
Just yesterday my phone started to create static noises when making outgoing as well as in-coming calls. Is there any way to fix this?
I'm currently on Amestris 3.6.1. I have not yet tried reflash a fresh ROM but has anyone experienced this? Phone is fully working apart from the static noise during calls. Would uninstalling most google apps have an effect on this? I've removed voice dialer and such.

No, I didn't. I'll try to flash a new ROM on it later and see how it goes.

The last time I had this was during to faulty mainboard. Hope it is still under warranty.

[Q] Phone call Lag on Owains' Domination

I really like owains' cm9 rom, I feel very good on every thing except the Phone Call / Dial issue on me.
I forgot since which Build, if the Phone.apk is not standby in the background (manual or auto killed by system), I should wait a very long time to open it.
Include the incoming call, it spend almost 6-8 seconds to show the answer screen....
Is anyone have the same problem with me and is it any solution?

Is your phone underclocked ? I had the same problem as i underclocked it pretty hard.. If you're at 1Ghz and it doesn't works, just try to flash the Rom again and correctly (maybe full wipe etc) , that already helps in the most cases.

I had same problem and it changed after cache and dalvik cache clearing. You can try.

Whatsapp Problem

Since I changed my Rom to any sense 4.0 or 4.0a my whatsapp notification ran into some problem . If I have to receieve notification from whatsapp everyday ( or reboot) I will have to press into whatsapp chat interface . Does this happen to anyone or just me? Anyone know how to fix this? Quite annoying.

should be fixed in latest whatsapp version from whatsapp website
Its newer than market version of whatsapp

i was facing the exact same problem and it used to force close often ..so changing back to sense 3.6 now

Some i9000s have the gps hardware problem which can be fixed. But, my question is,, can I boost my wifi in any way??

My wifi receiver is very weak,, it can only receive at close distances...

ROMs MIUI!!

HI ... i love this forum and i hope you can help me with my problem when i installed MIUI I had a problem whit two apps "zello" and "Viber" you know that zello and viber are apps to speak free... so my problem is when I use those apps my voice is like a squirrel ... please that problem only happen with MIUI.

Anyway can't really help since it's either a CM bug or the Rom itself... try with whatsapp lol
