Hey guys, to find out about, which providers work and which not, please list your provider below + which network type is being used in your country.
My provider e.g. is T-Mobile Germany and uses GSM 900/1800 network, afaik.
SMS sending does not work.

PLease also add the kind of network, that is being used in your country (GSM800/900/1800, WCDMA 2100,...) since I cant google in your language and dont know, where I should look it up all up... But it looks like some basebands are not compatible with the ROM.

hmm, same Country, same provider. But the other cannot send SMS.

Kabayan, can you test another sim preferably Globe and see if you can send SMS? Thanks.

Call - works fine
MMS - cant receive or send - error "cannot use the data services in this network"

Kabayan I'm using TM right now and everything works perfectly but when i go back to sun cellular still can't send sms.

i'm in lithuania for work, I'm using a Bite SIM on my Trinity, i wolud like to use MMS and Videocall, somebody knows parameters and how to configure...

3g is in phase of activation now but is less important, for me is important to set up MMS
Why don't you call the network's helpdesk? They should speak english if you don't speak lithuanian. My network e-mailed me settings for 3G/MMS cause they're not present on their web site (they even have WM5 & WM6 version for P3600, although they're almost identical).

Did anyone get 3G (HSDPA / UMTS should be both supported on these networks!) to work on the Telfort / KPN (Dutch) network?
It seems with the default network settings it does not pick up 3G, only GPRS / EDGE?

I've got no problem using both 3g and HSDPA. The connection is called GPRS though, maybe that's the confusing part. When using them, there are symbols 3G and H in the top of the screen. Good luck
I am sure you know this, but nevertheless: if you do not take out a data subscription, KPN/Telfort have disabled UMTS; you will then ONLY get gprs.

You also need to request a new UMTS enabled simcard.
check you rom version, if it does not depend on your provider
So far 3G for works for me only with Radio rom at least 1.27.12.17 and OS >= 1.56.406.5.
Have run Radio rom 1.27.12.11 for a long time and no 3G connection @ all regardless of data or voice.
With radio 1.27.12.17 some calls on 3G were possible, but still more outages then connections.
Now I tried the french OS (1.56.406.5) together with radio 1.27.12.11 and for 4 hours 3G is stable. This is not very mature, but it is a tendency that it is not the radio rom only that trobles the 3G connections.
@all: Thanks for the tips, yes, UMTS/HSDPA needed to be enabled (remotely) on the SIM (even though I had enabled Max Online on my subscription).
@dauphinas365: Does this unstable 3G connection mean that you are unreachable when 3G is connected (which is the case on my Kaiser)?
How can I check what kind of connection (GPRS / UMTS) has been setup?

Yeah, same here. But officially you should be able to be called during 3G, but in my case the caller gets a busy tone...
Can someone reach you when you're on 3G?

Havn't tried it yet.
Selt bought AT&T Tilt from USA n spent USD40 to unlock the phone.
I am using Singapore Telecom network, now phone is only working in GSM and will not able to make call or send may message if I set the phone Band as Auto. This means it will not working with 3G Network.
I have try the Sim card on other phone, 3G is ok.
Can I know what is wrong with the phone.

i flashed my phone with the global rom and now when i lock the screen while using LTE Network i can't recieve phone calls
only text message arrives on locked screen
when the screen is not locked or when the phone plugged in charger every thing works fine
P.S. on 3g network i don't have this problem
I bought new mi5 and faced similar problem and ordered a replacement.
But the same problem persists in the new handset.
So after going through a lot of search
I conculded:
The phone network does not support voice over LTE yet in some networks.
Currently it is supported in europe and japan and some networks of states.
So no need to panic xiaomi is getting a patch to update to fix this bug from their side.
Till time enjoy callin/ internet via 3g network

Well you're doing better than me my phones never displayed 4g in areas I used to have it with my lg g5 any ideas using the *#*#4636#*#* apparently lte is enabled I'm on Vodafone UK also allegedly supported
Vodaphone and o2 will not work on 4G with this phone as it only uses band 20/800Mhz which is not activated.

i can also verify it does not work stable rom but i works just perfect Latest Chinese developer rom.eventually they fixed this issue on latest developer roms.
I just got to South Korea and signed up for the Korean service KT. The data plan works fine (4G+) and I can text however calls are not being placed or received.
After about a minute of initializing a call, it just ends it. With no tones or other messages. I cannot receive calls either.
It is in SIM slot 1, and in the secret dial pad menu I am set to LTE, CDMA, UMTS auto (PRL).
Anyone else have this issue? I will try to resolve with KT as well, however.
