Has anyone developed the mod to use volume buttons to wake the screen up for ICS Stock Rom yet?
My Incredible S is rooted, and I want to use the volume buttons to wake up my phone screen instead of using power button. Do you guys have any ideas about this?

Try one of the mods from spongychicken for the sense 3.6 roms
Or flash one of the custom 3.6 roms with it

Thought some people might like this. Its an alternative of whats out there. has custom settings too. For those that have been wanting the sense 3.0 lockscreen.

Phone won't turn on when I click the power button with this lock. Happens with Ripple Lock too from same developer. Nexus S 4G running CM7. I have to push the volume buttons to turn the phone on.
Any ideas?
Maybe something with cm7. Im running it on stock rom 2.3.5 with netarchy kernal bfs 1.3.8. Everything is working fine for me. Been running it the last 3 days with no problems. Only thing I don't like is that the volume buttons wake the phone.

In ripple lock you need to set to double lock option 2 in the settings. It should fix it.

Is there anyone flash the rom in forum with volume wakeup MOD work well for ONE? The MOD is try to use volume key as power button to wakeup screen.
The mod not work fully in ONE X if phone is under deep sleep so I want to know is it same case for ONE?
I flashed this mod last sunday with arhd and it only works a few seconds after fall to sleep.

I have htc desire c phone. its volume buttons are not working(both buttons). I want to install a new root due to this phone is too slow and I want it to work quickly. does I install any ROM with computer bt my volume buttons are not working ?????

You can't. You need all your buttons functioning.

I recommend you should change your volume rocker buttons before doing anything...my friend had this problem on his previous desire c(now he has nexus 4) and he used a toothpick to press the inside buttons of the plastic...
You MAY try this method at your own risk...
But after you have rooted, you can always get a touch based recovery so you dont have to use volume rockers then!
I'm running Cyanogen Mod 12.1 on Android 5.1.1 with my HTC One M7. I was wondering if there was some kind of xposed module sort of like Sense toolbox but for Cyanogen mod, where I can modify my power button to where I can short hold it while the screen is off and it will activate my flashlight, short hold again to turn it off.
