Hello
I just bought a Blackberry Torch 9810 and there are a few scratches on the silver trim, other than that everything is fine.
Was wondering if anyone has painted there housing faceplate trim?
XDA is for Android and Windows Phone devices only. Moved to Off-topic.
I know some people on the Gnex forums have, you might wanna check those threads for instructions or tips. Not sure how different removing the casing is but as far as the painting technique it shouldn't be too different.
I have always hated blackberry for some reason. The first version of android was the same as the latest version of Blackberry. Anyho, changing the case is always possible and easy. I would not suggest painting the trim. I would just buy a custom one...
Blackberry?

Now that I have something useful to listen to music with, I want to use it while running.
I have not come across many accessories to do this, but I did find this universal one:

Anyone have any pointers for the Focus? I figure something that attaches to an arm or waist would be appropriate.
I'll update this post with your suggestions as we go.
*edit - If this is as good as it's going to get, please post so.
If it says it can handle the size of the Xperia X10, then the Focus should be fine and this may be your best bet. I don't think there will be any armband accessories until the Focus becomes more popular so just go with this one.
But I don't really think that the Focus is a good choice as a workout MP3 player. I know I'd be on edge if I had my brand spanking new phone strapped to my sweaty slippery arm! That's why I've kepy my iPod Nano for working out--the perfect size.
Good points. But it's so shiny... Hard not to use it.
Another thread posted this link.
Perhaps the bluetooth route is doable

Anybody know of a case/housing/shell for the HD2 that resembles or is clone of HD7?
Would be kinda cool to be able to make the outside look same, as we have more or less exact same hardware and now have same OS.

i actually went out and compred the phones. ever since the evo and its kickstand i had the idea of they where the same size i just buy the housing online and swtich it them.
Both the EVO & HD7 are out. becuse of the volume buttons being on the other sid eof the phone. and the flash also.
heavily modding would be required to get these to work.
unless they get android on the HD7 then i would get the HD7 other than that im sticking to my HD2, just that stupid kickstand envy...
For a protection, use official HTC case to protect. It is a good quality product.
I just got the NS4G sprint version and all is great but no wrist strap attachment. Dough! Can anyone suggest anything. I don't like cases much.
Here is a picture of what I'm talking about:

I should have been more clear. I'm talking about the little loop strap for your wrist. The kind that usually has a little hole for on just about every phone but this one
I have never seen a smart phone with a loop strap attachment. Maybe you could point one out. I have seen a lot of feature phones with this, and almost every camera, but no smart phones.
Alternatively, maybe you can find a case that has one, but like you said, cases suck.
I had an HTC hero with a wrist strap and I serio usly miss it on my Nexus.
My only part-way solution is to get a 3.5mm plug (wire free) and connect the strap to that.
you can consider these, it will take a fair bit of weight, but will not allow you to swing your phone.
@t1n0m3n
most HTC has a hole for a strap, my HTC mozart 7 has one, it's a windows 7 phone.

It's basically focused on organizing instead of multiple homescreens.
That was quite unexpected of Samsung

There is also a lite free one... just check before you shout
I'm not too impressed with "Pure Breeze". One widget screen is not enough. And the main screens will piss Apple off even more than they already are.
Works fine on my DHD. Tried the lite version. Not my style.
Sent from my DHD on a weekend, AKA I'm probably drunk.
i dont like it.
i dont find it easy of use.
i dont know, ill stick with go launcher.
Hi,
Is there a Wristband for Galaxy Note 2. I would like to carry mine on the wrist, when I am on the move. I know that its a question, but I dont know if I should post this in this forum or the Q & A Forum since my question is about accessories.
Thanks in advance
do you want to wear the phone like a wrist-watch?
i suppose you can get an armband that tightens around your wrist.
http://www.amazon.com/Quality-Smartphone-Resistant-Neoprene-Exercise/dp/B0090R20R0
Or get a case with a rotating clip and attach to your wrist with a separate armband

Or get a smartwatch

Wow you must have big wrists lol

LOL, these things come to mind from Chuck and Futurama and Fallout, but then google images yielded other results... I don't think this will be as useful as you think it will be, I don't think they will be really wearable until consumer tech proceeds to the level of Chuck's Dad's wrist computer... I know we are close but I'd say at least a few years before its a real thing that is useful.
But people have done it and I'm not one to stand in the way of progress, good luck sir, and I hope you have really long forearms.
