JellyBean Google Apps Installer ++ by tantrums
Now, I present to you one of my new projects. I was enjoying the CM10 nightly releases and thought of this project. This aims for users of CyanogenMod 10 to choose google applications or gapps to include or not to include when flashing CM10. I will be adding features to this project whenever I could.
Features:
Google Apps available for installation and remove:
Google Calendar, Gallery, Genie Widget, Gmail, Play Books, Ears Widget (with transparent option), Play Magazines, Maps, Play Music, Play Services, TTS or Text-To-Speech, Play Video, Play Store, Google Now / Voice Search (with Offline option), Google Talk (with Video chat option), Talkback, Youtube & BookmarkSync
Remove CM10 Default Apps:
Apollo, Browser, CM Wallpapers, Email, Deskclock, Live Wallpapers, ROM Manager, Terminal Emulator, Spareparts, STK, Development app, DSP Manager, Exchange, KeyChain, Video Editor, Browser, Calculator, Gallery and Camera App, Sound Recorder, Trebuchet & LatinIME.
GPS Fix available for installation:
- Default CM10
- Africa
- Asia
- Europe
- North America
- Oceana
- South America

How to Use:
1. Make sure you have a nandroid backup before proceeding. Just in case something went wrong.
2. Copy the zip file in your SD card (copy in root folder) before installing CM10 ROM Releases
3. Install CM10 in your device.
4. After successfull CM10 installation, choose "install zip from SDCARD" and choose this CM10gapps_by_tantrums.zip.
FAQs:
1. Wanna remove gapps after running CM10gapps_by_tantrums or installing official CM10 gapps zip?
- Run again CM10gapps_by_tantrums and choose "Custom Install and Remove". Uncheck all gapps you want to uninstall and it will be deleted. (added in v 0.3)

Hey man! This is EXACTLY what I needed to get started for CM10. However I've hit a major detriment. I just now realized this is for the Optimus Black. @$!$ I have an SIII myself and everything was told to me that it installed properly. However as I go into CM10 I see no google apps. Obviously because this is not for the SIII. Thanks for what you are doing anyway I'm sure other people need this for their Optimus Black.

Hi Bronos, I made the script universal. The original code was originally from the original gapps-jb version. I don't see any problem that you will not be able to install this in SIII. Thanks for dropping by here in OB section.
The apps don't seem to install,I'm using CM10 nightly 20121003
Can I run the installer after I've flashed and used the rom for a while? Meaning I don't install it right after I flash the rom

the app will probably run, but you won't be able to catch any channel since cm10 lacks mock settings (and maybe some necessary files?)
I tried the app from LG L7, it runs, but it's useless at this moment
Telling the truth FM Radio is also the main reason for me haven't tried out any nightly or ICS.
It'd be much appriciated if you could do something in this matter, though I assume this is not this thread' topic.
Btw Google Now is the app which contains the Voice Search?
Did this gapps work with picasa integration? (google photos)
Like the teameos gapps?

The link is not working. I want to take a look at their gapps if I can implement the same.
btw, is there an official google app for picasa?
the original gapps didnt work for me so i will try this first!

v3.10.14
The difference in size compared to the previous version 3.10.10 from a bit over 2 months ago is about 14KB, and after ripping through the APK, I found no significant changes. There are some tweaks to the billing code, but from what I can tell, this is a bug fix release.

v3.9.17
The most notable and immediately apparent new feature is the long overdue ability to remove apps you've previously downloaded from the All Apps list. If you like to try a lot of apps, that list is likely very cluttered. With the new Google Play, you can trim it to your heart's content.
Update #1: You can multi-select by long-pressing any app in the list and then tapping more apps, then delete them all in one go.[Not applicable to low end devices like Galaxy mini]
Update #2: The new Play Store now keeps track of your location in lists, including My Apps and All Apps, so when you click into an app and back, it drops you into the same spot.
Update #3: The notification icon that shows up when you have app updates has changed, and notifications are now expandable.
Update #4: The notification icon after installing an app now shows the app icon instead of something generic.
The size of the Play Store APK actually went down, so Google must have trimmed some extra fat.

I just flashed this from the old market from your previous thread. But when i open the play store, it says authentication is required. You need to sign in to your google account. But i had lohged in my account in accounts and sync. I've already logged in gtalk. How to fix this? Thanks
I dint have any problem. Weird.
Try this btw-
Go to settings>Applications>Manage Applications>All applications>Google play store>clear data and then try opening it.
If that dint work. Open play store>press left soft key/search button>accounts>and then choose your account and wait for it to load.
nice..........

Yeah its UI is just like the 3.4.4. Its slow, but atleast faster than 3.4.4. Yesterday, google updated the market to 3.4.7 from 3.4.6. Maybe few bug fixes from google.
I still use the old market. Has always been perfect for me. Some people prefer the new market. Posted this for them.
Does it works on Android 2.3.6 S5570JVKT1? I download thic package and i still don't know whad do I do. I flashing it via CWM, and nothing happened.

This is the first Android ROM I have "cooked" from two other builds based on MIUI 2.3.9 GB.
: credited to CacingKalung (CK) & zukriaksah (aka Mr ROM porter).
Hence as a tribute to their endeavors, I have named it "CuK".
This has been a learning experience for me and my effort derives itself from the collective work of the developers on xda viz. llorn for the excellent mOCk kernel, the indispensable modules and libraries by TJ_Style & Issac87, and the Android modding community at large.
The objective behind this ROM was to improve on the previous builds, add all the patches available while trying to minimize any bloat in a single rom.
I have kept /system/apps/ to a bare minimum, so as to minimize battery drain.
To get to know what all is required and what all can be done away, I had to take the hard route of trial and error and have flashed and reflashed my phone around a hundred times today itself.
Although due care has been taken to keep this bug free and optimal, please do not blame me for any loss monetary or otherwise happening due to the use of this rom.
Please flash at your own risk. This is my first build and as such I cannot guarantee anything.
The following have been removed from the ROM (Release 1):
Code:
MIUI talk
MIUI status
ChromeBookmarksSyncAdapter.apk
com.google.android.voicesearch-1.apk
Email.apk
GenieWidget.apk
Gmail.apk
GoogleBackupTransport.apk
GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk (calendar sync won't work)
GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.apk (contact sync won't work)
GooglePartnerSetup.apk
Updater.apk
MarketUpdater.apk
MediaUploader.apk
OneTimeInitializer.apk
pkg_1.2.1.apk
Play.apk
SetupWizard.apk
SpareParts.apk
Talk.apk
Vending.apk
VoiceDialer.apk
Stock wallpapers, some useless resources
All languages except English (even from PicoTTS)
Bootscreens and splash screens have been removed (your previous one shall remain)
All libraries have been handpicked.
I am certain that the incoming call volume is now fixed.
USB tethering works.
Timezone has been set to IST (+5:30)
The following have been included:
- mOCk OC (64 MHz - 2 GHz) and Undervolting kernel with 2 way call recording patch
- 4 Way Reboot Mod
- MIUI Extended Settings Control Panel with centre clock (overscroll mod)
- Jazzk % battery mod (appears with all MIUI themes which don't have a graphical battery)
- Ads blocker hosts included and enhanced to block all Google ads
- ICS Lockscreen (from CK's ROM)
- ICS Latin IME keyboard (from CK's ROM)
- window effect (from CK's ROM)
- Tapedeck app (installs to /data/apps/)
- Modified theme based on Black Ice theme as default (from CK's ROM)
- Spare Parts (CK's ROM accidentally has two versions in the ROM))
- CM7 camera beside MIUI camera (from CK's ROM)
- Angry GPS (from CK's ROM)
- Custom GPS.conf for Indian users
- SD card tweak
- Sony Bravia Engine
- Equalizer app (from zuk's rom)
- X5 settings (from zuk's rom)
- G-sensor calibration app
- E-Compass calibration app
- Power button app (zuk needs it )
- Compass
and the rest of the stock MIUI apps
- init.d tweaks from CK and zuk's roms
Known issues:
Wifi tethering still requires the use of third party apps.
Steps:
Enter clockworkmod recovery
Wipe Data and cache
Flash the zip file linked here.
You needn't wipe dalvik cache since the update script automatically does it.
The first release has been totally deGooglified i.e. no Google Apps have been included, not even some of the background Android services which imo only hog bandwidth and leech battery!
This is intended for those folks who detest bloat and have issues with Google's new privacy policy.
Download Release 1 here...
On request of members, I have made another fully loaded, googlified variant which includes all the system apps.
The stock apps have been replaced with their respective Inverted Google Apps (Gmail, Google+, Voice, Market, Docs, Reader, Translate, Search) and/or updated latest counterparts eg. [APP MOD] Google Maps 6.4.0 ownhere/Brut.all- NAVIGATION all roads..
Release 3:
(This is basically what I intended Release 2 to be.)
No headset issue or incoming call volume issue!
ICS Animations (removed previous ones, shall post a metamorph later for both)
Added Gallery 3D app.
Latest inverted apps.
Jazzk % battery fixed (was accidentally omitted in R2)
Improved GPS config for Indian users (tested).
Also, phone shouldn't heat up now.
Download Release 3 here...
I may be wrong with the liberties I have taken with this ROM.
Please feel free to correct me and post bugs if any and help me learn
Congratssss bro....!
Great work!

I use the inverted market/play (linked above )
I think lack of contact and calendar sync would hurt most (contemplating to include them in the next release) but I think syncing is superfluous when you can backup and restore manually using MIUI backup and Titanium.

Yup... That inverted google apps great, Market is there already.... I want to integrate them to mine since they are black themed also.
I'm also one of some people who always do sync for contacts and gmail (one of my priority mail), but not for calendar.
Once more... great work FR!
(PS: As I think you are also one of some people who like every simple things... May be you like to try lewa launcher on your rom. I posted it here)
Already integrated and testing Release 2 as I speak
And yes, it includes all the "bloatware".
I have tried Lewa launcher but I doesn't appeal to me.

which version of inverted apps i have to download ? ( full pack ET4G version ?)
i believe your first release had few battery hogging services stopped/removed which is not there in second release .
if i download first release and put the inverted apps pack things will be same i guess.
Once again FR .. great work and an impressive release
Downloaded Now, Will Install And Report If I Find Any Bugs
I have inadvertently put an unmodded SystemUI.apk in Release 2. Jazzk mod will not be working.
Shall post a patch later at night when I return home and for converting Release 1 to Release 2.
It would be best for those on Release 1 to wait for my patch since the ics keyboard in the inverted apps flashable pack will conflict and fc.

this is quite an unusual problem.
I'd suggest you to first reinstall lewa launcher, then install some home switcher app from the market and then switch back to the default launcher and then uninstall lewa launcher.
But any case, a fresh install should fix the problem!

update regarding problem : Install ICS launcher from market and no problem yet.....
Still will monitor till morning.... unless will use BRAMHASTRA that is fresh installation..
guys, I think its pointless to post a patch since it itself is like 70 mb in size.
I have released the uot mod for the jazzk % battery.
Those on R2 can simply flash it.
Those on R1 can simply update with R2 without wiping data and then with the uot mod.
Eagerly waiting for MIUI 2.3.16

[Q&A]
This section hopefully addresses some common questions. Read this before posting any questions.
Before asking anything, clear cache and dalvik cache and see if it fixes the problem.
Browser unable to load anything despite 3G working? See here.
Q: Where is 3D gallery/video/gaming? How can I get it?
A: Never, until LG open-sources their proprietary Real3D framework. Now stop asking. Please?
Q: I don't want CM! I still want 3D!
A: Look elsewhere. There are great stock roms by ThiaiZ and The Dark Lestat as well as Meemo23 on this forum
Q: Must I wipe data? I have a lot of apps and data!
A: From experience, you must wipe when you install this rom for the first time. Afterwards, you can just wipe cache and dalvik cache and install the apps again. DO NOT restore Titanium backups since it will virtually leave your phone in the state it was before factory resetting.
Q: When I boot my phone, LauncherPro doesn't start/hangs/shows a black screen!
A: It is a well known problem with LauncherPro. Just press and hold the back button until a popup appears, then select "force close".
Q: I want to overclock Can I flash TitanKernel?
A: Flashing a stock kernel on CM will result in bootloops. Although overclocking is not needed for this rom since it's so fast and smooth already, you can use the overclockable modules here to overclock, and read the instructions there. Make sure you download the CM compatible modules and not the other modules.
Q: Do I need a task killer?
A: No! Task killers are not needed on a rom like this In fact, they can cause more problems than they solve...
Q: Where do I change the themes?
A: After installing the rom, go to the apps list and scroll down until you find Theme Chooser. From there, you can choose the corresponding theme you want. If it says that it is missing files, ignore it and apply the files anyway. Try Lucid and Vivid, they are exclusive to this rom only as they are paid themes on Play Store. However, Sonny (the developer of the themes) kindly allowed me to use his themes for free. Support Sonny by purchasing his themes here and here for your other phones Also, his ICS theme is included for you to mock those without ICS or its lookalikes
Q: Where do I get the LauncherPro themes for the themes?
A: The ICS and Lucid themes are already in the rom. There is no LauncherPro theme for Vivid if I'm not mistaken.
Q: How do I make my LauncherPro dock look like it came from ICS?
Download this and this. Extract the zip file to a folder your phone's sdcard. To set icons, long tap on the individual icons in the dock, select change icon, custom icon then browse to the correct icon. For the dock, tap the settings button in homescreen > preference > appearance settings > dock background > custom > [folder of icons] hhhha.png. If the icons do not appear, reboot your phone and it will appear. Done!
Q: Why is [app] not working?
A: Ask the developers of [app]. Only ask if it's root-related or is affected by busybox or something related to what I added in the rom.
Q: Can you include RTL support?
A: Try CM first. I have no idea if RTL is included as there are 3 Arabic languages in Languages so you tell me if it's included
Q: Why is xxx feature not working?
A: Don't ask me because I'm not the developer of CyanogenMod You can report functionality issues here. Examples of what should be reported to the CyanogenMod team would be call echoes, although they will not accept any reports of problems when you use this rom as they only want reports from stock CyanogenMod users. Only ask here if it's related to the tweaks I made.

Yes this should work with v20P.
Do keep in mind that I had tested this with a few users before releasing but I couldn't test it as much as I would have liked since I don't have a P925 and can't test for device-specific problems. If there are problems, do report then to me so they can be fixed

Back in the days. JellyBeanRom was a rom intended for OG Galaxy S. It wasn't very popular, and I've given up cooking, and changed my device. Now JellyBeanRom is back with the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and latest Ice Cream Sandwich build. For now, only basic modifications were done but still it's quite a good start. Hope you'll like the rom and have fun with it, as much as I had "fun" developing it. I'd like to thank here Task650 and Jamison904 for their latest, inspiring work for the P7510. Moving on...

1. If you're on stock Honeycomb 3.2, please download stock ICS rom from samfirmware and flash it. Then flash custom recovery (f.e. TWRP), and then make a full wipe (system, cache, data, dalvik cache) and flash JellyBeanRom.
2. If you're on stock Ice Cream Sandwich, please reboot to recovery (if you don't have one, please flash it), wipe system, cache and dalvik cache, and flash JellyBeanRom.
3. If you're on CyanogenMod 9 or 10, please reboot to recovery, make a full wipe (system, cache, data, dalvik cache) and flash JellyBeanRom.
If you want to use some of the removed apps, you have to add the desired apk's inside the rom zip, to system/app folder. Before flashing of course. Easy, right?
For anyone that has the wifi not working issue after flashing the v7, please reflash kernel of choice (Yoda's or A1). That's the solution till I will find another one.
It can be used on any JBR version, and it can be easily configurable!
What it does? It removes all the stuff that I had removed in the lite version. For now it deletes:
/system/app/Dlna.apk
/system/app/FotaClient.apk
/system/app/SyncmlDM.apk
/system/app/SyncmlDS.apk
/system/app/GMS_Maps.apk
/system/app/SamsungApps.apk
/system/app/SamsungAppsUNA3.apk
/system/app/Samsungservice.apk
/system/app/SamsungWidget_ProgramMonitor.apk
/system/app/SamsungWidget_WeatherClock.apk
/system/app/DualClockAnalog.apk
/system/app/Street.apk
/system/app/Swype.apk
/system/lib/libSwypeCore.3.26.92.39238.so
/system/app/VoiceSearch.apk
How to configure the script?
Download CWM with the script, open it and copy META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script to some visible place. Then open it with notepad (I recommend Notepad++).
That line represents one file that is removed (in this case it is Swype.apk):
delete("/system/app/Swype.apk");
If you want to add a file to delete, you need to know its path and full name. It can be any file, in any folder inside the file system. You can also remove any of that lines from the script if you want a file left untouched.
When you finish editing the updater-script, save it as it is without any extension, in most cases you'll just need to push Save button. Then copy the file inside the debloaters zip, copy inside your device and flash through recovery.
I did this to save yours and my time. I won't waste a lot of time for uploading lite roms, and you won't have to wait for me to do it. I think it is a good solution

Welcome.. About time we needed some p7500 love as other devs seems to hate p7500
Downloading
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
I guess the P7510 is more popular around the globe. In my country, P7500 is more popular as it is available in cell companies with contracts, although there aren't many people developing.
Thanks
Gonna test this one out..
Thanks for this..
M..
Gonna try this one.. Thanks man!
tried it out, so far so good, root is working fine and performance is just
As good as the stock rom if not better.
A suggestion for the dev would be to take a look at maybe integrating the V6 supercharged framework for a previous thread in the development section. Might speed things up.
Thanks for your hard work

No. I tried it yesterday and it ruined my ICS install. There was no internet or wifi after. So I had to reflash.

Pershoot's kernel is not yet compatible with official ICS nor my rom but as soon as Pershoot makes a compatible version, it will be included.

You can try. But I'm not sure it will work correctly and won't give any FC's. It's a big change actually, from 3.2 to 4.0.4
Thanks finally some love for 7500, will move over from overcome to your ROM soon.. Hoping that you will continue developing it
After overcome is gone i thought there is no hope for us because no dev was ready to support p7500. Thanks Toldo ur the man

DISCLAIMER
This is not my work. The port of Miui.us to I9000 was made by Brad Heffernan (Link to Original Thread for SLIMUI 1.x and Here for SLIMUI 2.x).
My philosophy
Android has to be slim. It's all about user's own personality and individuality. Stock should be all customizable and as lightweight as it could be. Your phone must trully (hence freely) express yourself, otherwise go and buy an iPh... lol.
BASE
It's JellyBean 4.1.2. Hats off to MIUI Team for all of the beauty they added to a otherwise highly performant firmware. Also nothing of this continuous development would be possible if not for our phone's unsuspected brother, the Nexus S. And finally, big thanks to all the hard workers of the original porting to GT-I9000.
SPECIFICATIONS
NOTE: All features defined here are relative to the build 1.3
- Installation: I prefered the usual simplistic installer (not Aroma as in original)
- Bootanimation: Changed to match Miui.us logo
- Kernel: It has Semaphore 2.50sv, the only version with fully working Aroma Filemanager (you can even change permissions in CWM Recovery!)
- RAM: hugemem patched (390 Mb) with 720p recording and playback
- Modem: KB5, however it will not override your current one
- Display: It is 201 DPI.
- AriesParts: Yes, it has advanced Galaxy S controls (color tuning, in-call volume etc)
- Launcher: MiHome Launcher, it's Miui exported to non-Miui ROMs. Has preincluded Theme Manager (working with no need for Xiaomi account)
- Keyboard: Q2 Keyboard. Free, fast, customizable.
- Slimui Tuner: Aroma Installer add-on with all missing stock and Slimui/Mi (flashable in cwm)
NOT INCLUDED
- GAPPS: it has no (hopefully) google elements, apart Android (lol)
- A lot of Xiaomi stuff.
- Some Miui.us apps
- Libs and framework files that are not used (?)
KNOWN ISSUES:
- GPS: works, but it's Vibrant, lol. It has my tweaks, it doesn't use gps.conf, I doubt Vibrant ever uses it.
- 911: I don't know (and don't care, sorry US users: EDIT: See post No.2). I use Mr Psycho's RIL files (original Galaxy S files), which are CM9 so you were warned.
- Settings, About phone: Wrong available internal memory displayed. I don't know why, it is on every Miui 4.1 ROM.
- Lockscreen: It may behave strange on unlock (doesn't freeze, it simply doesn't show up). Maybe a MiHome Launcher issue (?). Solved in latest builds.
- Themes: Due to changed DPI some packs might not apply.

Warning
Make a Nandroid backup of your current ROM first! You MUST have correct partitions before you proceed (see CM 10/JB 4.1)! <== It seems there are some exceptions though

How to:
- Copy zip to sd card
- Reboot to CWM Recovery
- Wipe Data, cache and dalvik cache
- Mounts-->Format system
- Install zip.

Changelog:
NOTE: Only the changelog of the latest build will be displayed here
30/03/2013 SLIMUI 1.5
<<<PRIME NOSTALGY>>>
TEST BUILD 1
Changelog:
- English only
- Launcher: Stock launcher (all widgets working, except for Miui Weather - not included, has chinese cities only; hint - install instead Go Weather Widget from Playstore, it WORKS without Go Launcher Ex, it's best of all). Global Search widget needs Google's Search and Voice Search from Playstore - install apart.
- Theme: Black Ice theme (planned, needs many edits ). For now: Lockscreen & Lock wallpaper from Blues Theme (thanks to its dev Tony!) and Status Bar from Miui_4 Concept_ICS Theme (big thanks to its dev Jooode!). The original Black Ice 2.3 Theme isn't fully compatible with JB, for now only Icon pack implemented (big big thanks to its dev cgvelmax!).
- Locker: A very nice one, you'll like it (matches so well to the Prime aestethics) ^^^ see above
- New Miui Calculator, so cute interface! (from Miui 3.2.x Nexus ROM)
- MiFile Explorer: Updated to latest 3.1.6 Dark Blue build. Very strong release, fully working root explorer, archive manager. Credits to apooonet.
- Theme Manager: replaced with an older version that fixes the apply theme bug (downloads OK apply OK; no Xiaomi account needed, only formal consent on the first run). A side effect: won't let you change ringtones from within Settings, but through Theme manager itself OR by editing Build.prop lines (where ringtone and alarms are defined).
- Framework.jar patch for Mediascanner wake-ups bug (credits...Shoman94, thread here)
- Init.d: Removed scripts for scheduler and governor, were broken. New scripts for better Sd Card read/write experience (Benchmark friendly , thanks to Blackbean team and neobuddy)
- Browser: Baidu Browser instead of Miui stock one, a very powerful chinese browser (english translation). Credits to Baidu team.
- Keyboard: New Sony Ericsson Keyboard. Credits to _Sparks for porting it. Many languages and good prediction.
- Important: Superuser.apk replaced with Miui Security Guard. Fixed Su bug from 1.4 build (partial root)
- Maybe other little changes
Installation notes for Slimui 1.5 <<<Prime Nostalgy>>>:
- After the first boot, let it sit 5-10 min, then reboot
- It builds caches very slow, I don't know why (Miui 4 bug?). However thereafter it should be very fast
- It is still a buggy build due to theming and (maybe) implemented system tweaks, use for testing

mi2stock converter Link here Install in CWM Recovery. For now it will only install 2 stock apps, Miui Home and File Explorer. It will also restore the original theme (with icons and gadgets), which were previously included by default in the removed MiHome Launcher.
Slimui Tuner Link here Install in CWM Recovery. It is an AROMA Installer, will guide and customize the (un)installation of the missing stock apps. NOTE: You MUST select every app you want to keep, otherwise the given app will be removed! It will also wipe cache and dalvic cache, so the reboot will be a bit longer.
This is finally a slimmed down android version for the Vibrant. I tried requesting a version like this but never had luck. I will definitely install this when it's available. Thanks again

Flashed it but I keep getting android.process.media has stopped so I can't really test/play with it. I tried clear data from framework, play services, market, media storage, I tried fix permission in recovery etc, no go.
Edit: I did another full wipe and system format and its good now.

The ROM is indeed pretty small but faster than any other MiUi present. I just installed the rom & apps & phone is still fast enough.
Thank u!:good:
Edit: Doesn't sync contacts from Gmail(solved: Flashed gapps 4.1.2) !
Runs 720P videos in MXplayer without any issues.

I didn't include the GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.apk in the ROM, I didn't use it. But be careful, flashing GAPPS may breake your Playstore if it's not multi-dpi (use only the Slim Gapps, it works flawlessly on dpi 201).
Glad you like it
Edit: Links to original CM10 RIL and GPS binaries added (see post No.2). Flash in CWM recovery.
Edit 2: Seems that CM10 RIL files will break the phone call sound. Going to post the Miui.us RIL files from GT-I9000
Edit 3: Added Miui-us RIL files for GT-I9000, now sound is ok
I'm not quite sure if it is a bug or not, but in the google account, contacts does not appear so they are not synchronized to the cellphone, or maybe it is just my phone.
Everything else is extremely smoooth!!!
Best regards

Anyone check the sound on phonecalls?
"Restore CM 10 RIL files (see attached) <=== Phone call sound broken?"
Makes me doubt flashing this :l
Sorry, i'm a bit confused again, do I flash GT-i9000? (i realize vibrant is t959, but the way you word it in your other post makes it sound like the i9000 will fix it for us as well)
edit: Tried it, just not working out, looks like the default miuihome is much better, and using that in system/apps doesn't work because it can't make any widgets, even with root permission.
Very fast ROM though, nice job.

Dr.Developer of this rom, do you have any idea which theme you used for this? Or where the .mtz is stored in your ROM file?
The lockscreen was the SMOOTHEST i've ever had, and I'm trying to get that on the other MIUI rom.

Datadata/com.miui.mihome2/app_built_in_theme/MIUI_default.mtz.
Actually it comes prebuilt in the launcher (MiHome).
What do you mean when you say you couldn't add widgets to the desktop? I have no problem adding any widget or folder I want. Just long press on homescreen, scroll the lower bar and you can also check out in the "More widgets", the last button to add others.
why late... cant wait...
Link <=== Removed untill I repackage the ROM, had to exclude some apps I've inserted without their dev's permission. Sorry But it will resurrect, even smaller, lol. Asta la vista.
plz upload fast...cant wait to try it...

I liked the lock screen but had troubles with it. It would disappear, after I unlocked it and then turn screen off it would not reappear when I turn screen back on until I rebooted.

in the op, did you do this?
It may behave strange on unlock (doesn't freeze, it simply doesn't show up). Maybe a MiHome Launcher issue (?). Solved: Go to Menu->Launcher Settings and then toggle off "Use MiHome Locker". You'll have now the basic Miui Lockscreen.

UPDATE 19/01/2013
Changelog:
15/01/2013 - First release, SLIMUI AIO. No more AIO in future, sorry
19/01/2013 - SLIMUI basic: I'll keep it as much MIUI as I can.
Now only 95 Mb!
Removed:
- All Google apps (including libs). Flash Slim GAPPS for JB 4.1. No Gallery/Camera from Google either.
- Voodoo Control. Sorry Supercurio Install free from Playstore
- AppDrawer: install free from Playstore
- Lbesec_miui.apk: too many permission dialogs and running in bg (you have Superuser and your IQ for that, lol). EDIT: It seems that the MiHome Lockscreen became much more fluid, probably for this reason?
Kept:
- All "Mi" apps: they are MIUI, modded or ported. In case of MiHome, it feels faster and has integrated Theme Manager, which won't ask you any Xiaomi registration.
- Q2 Keyboard: I'm waiting the dev's authorisation, though
Added:
- Miui Gallery and Camera, instead of the removed ones
Known issues: see OP
- Miui Camera: will FC on 720p video registration. This is a political issue, no comment.
INSTALLATION NOTES: On basic release (no AIO), you may install Slim GAPPS whenever you want, feel free to taste the pure flavour of Miui first!
Links and changelogs in post No 2. Links coming soon!
EDIT: Uploaded! Check post No 2 for download link.
