Ok, on my Galaxy Note i run pure CM10 with screen density 213, and there I have 7 different lock screen shortcuts.
On my Galaxy Tab 7.7 I run latest Paranoid Android with screen density 160, but here I only get to set 4 lock screen shortcuts. Is there any way to get 7 here as well?
I think I once did something special to get the 7 shortcuts on the N7000, but for my life I can't remember what...
Have tried to change the screen density several times without success.
Anyone who can point me in the right direction?
... and I,guess this should have been filed under Q&A instead - sorry about that

I love my newly rooted Aria... I do however miss my lock screen. I loved having the Aria lock, where you pull the whole lock screen down to get to your apps. With CM6 you get the slide bar to unlock. It's not terrible, but I'd really really prefer to use the old Aria lock screen... Anyone know if this is available anywhere or how I go about doing it? Thanks in advance...
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I BELIEVE that lock screen is sense ui and since sense (that sounds weird) is proprietary it cannot be added to CM6...there are however many lock screen apps that will allow you to choose something remarkably similar to the sense lock screen...widget locker is one of them.
Also, how did you manage to get the slide? When I unlock (bring my phone back from standby) it just shows me my visible dots for unlock pattern and once I enter that brings me to my home screen...

Hm, did you try just disabling your lock pattern? It's either in the CM6 settings or the ADW Launcher settings. By default after I rooted my phone the lock screen was a little slider bar, not like the iphone slider, it was a little tab on the left of the screen and when you hold it you slide it to the right. I ended up just disabling my lock screen completely but would go back to the old sense lock if I figure out how. I do remember reading somewhere that disabling the dot lock pattern will default to the slider lock screen, should work for you.
There is a setting for changing lock screen image under Settings > Display > Wallpapers > Lock screen wallpaper > Gallery... after saving the image, it doesn't seem to work (lock screen wallpaper is still my home screen wall paper)
I've read a lot of posts that points to the direction of using market apps such as lock bot and what not, but can't I use this way to set my lock screen wallpaper?
Running Perception 10.3, can't post it in that thread because I have below 10 post.
p/s: I've searched before I post, saw this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=735849 but it's kind of old and I don't think I want to revive it.
seems to only work if you are using glass unlock..
Thanks so much for the information, then I guess I'll check out other apps or just settle without changing it.
I think ever since CM nightly 37, my lockscreen is gone. No matter whether it's waking up from sleep, or reboot, my nook color never asked for password and anyone can access it!
I went to the setting -> location & security, the screen unlock option is still "change screen lock". Upon clicking it, I need to input my old password to change to a new one. However this is the only place that it asks me for password.
I tried disable password, then enable. No help.
I tried changing lockscreen setting in CM settings, no help either.
I'm running on CM7 stable now, and the problem is still there. Please help! I can't leave my nook color unprotected.
FYI, I used ROM manager for all ROM updates. The screenlock worked before.
It's a Tablet Tweaks setting, on by default.
Settings -> CyanogenMod settings -> Tablet tweaks -> Disable Lockscreen
Thanks. The lock screen appeared! However, it's at an unusual size, as large as a phone's screen. As a result I couldn't see half of the keyboard to input my full password. Is there a way to have a larger lock screen? Is it the set lcd density trick?

That I don't know. I've never tried adding a password lock, only using the various sliders/rotates on the lock screen.
go to spare parts, unclick compatibility mode

Cool. That solved it.
FYI, it was unselected. So I selected it, unselected, then reboot, then bingo!

I had the same lock-screen issue once I enabled it on CM7 stable. I simply rebooted and it fixed it.
Recently got the OTA update for Android 7.0. Since the update the clock on the lockscreen is much smaller.
What is strange is that when the alarm is triggering the clock gets bigger (weird). This is on a 9.7in Tab S2.
Anyone know of a setting or a fix for this?
Other annoyances with Android 7.0 on Tab S2. Anyone know fixes/settings for these?
- media volume changing 'bar' got smaller. When volume-up/down button pressed the screen popup is now only a small portion of the screen, used to take up more of the screen and be easier to put finger in right place to set the volume.
- when opening apps from folders when you back out of the app/exit you now get taken to the folder screen and not the home screen.
Hello dear XDA-people
I hope this is the right forum. If not, I`m sorry
I use my beloved Galaxy S10 with the official LineageOS20 ROM and, compared to 19.1, so far everything seemed to work perfectly.
For my lock-screen, I've been using a 5x5 pattern lock size for years. Since Google itself can only use a 3x3 size (which is important in case of my phone being stolen, breaking etc), I finally chose to change my lock screen back into a 3x3 size. Which comes with a problem i couldnt solve so far:
I can change my lock pattern size in the settings. But it doesnt change on the actual lock screen. It stays 5x5. But if I unlock my phone wth my fingerprint, and go into the settings to change the pattern size back, its 3x3. So my pattern size on the actual lock screen stays 5x5, even though I changed it into 3x3.
(Since I am not sure if my new pattern (made on 3x3) still somehow works on the 5x5 screen, I didnt try to make it work. I dont want to completely lock my phone.)
Did anybody have the same weird problem with the lock pattern size on LineageOS20 on the Galaxy S10? I`m using the latest Update, btw.
Kind regards
