[Q] Weird problem with my optimus black ! - LG Optimus Black

Hello, I have a very strange problem on my optimus black, I'm using the zeus v7.04, when I press the button to lock and unlock screen me a menu, where you have the options,
Silent Mode,
Airplane Mode,
restart,
Recovery,
Power Off.
When I click the Power Off, the phone does not shut down, just restarts, already formatted the sd card, changed rom, formated the phone, changed my recovery, I took the sd card phone, sim card, but nothing works, anyone out there have any solution to my problem.
Thank you in advance.

I had a similar problem with that button but it seems to me that it is a hardware and not a software problem...
Good luck

This should be help.

With the phone off, try to do a hardreset: Hold down the two silver buttons directly under the screen, while holding them down push the power button, you should then be presented with a screen that asks you to press "R" to reset your device....so go ahead and flip open the keyboard and press "R", when it completes it will ask you to press "Spacebar" to restart the device.

[Q] HD7 hang at HTC logo

My phone problem was it ran out of storage after taking some pictures, so I thought I can solve it by flashing my phone, but after successful flash it only vibrates and hangs at HTC green logo forever.
First I tried:
RUU_Schubert_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.57.707.02_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10_Signed_SCHUBERT_RELEASE
Then I tried
RUU_Schubert_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.23.707.01_Radio_5.51.09.06a_22.30.50.09_Signed_SCHUBERT_RELEASE
And
RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.16.401.01_Radio_5.51.09.06a_22.30.50.09_Signed_SCHUBERT_RELEASE
Can anybody help me out? Thank you in advance

Something seems wrong with the total storage reported. It should show 14.63GB. Looks like your sdcard is acting up. Try hard resetting the phone first by
1. Turn the phone off. If it’s frozen or unresponsive, pull then replace the battery.
2. Press and hold the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons and power the phone back on.
3. Continue to hold Volume Up and Volume Down until a factory reset screen appears.
If this doesn't work, there might be a problem with the sdcard :?
Thank you very much rhn my problem was solved by disassembling my phone and formatting my SD using PC
Hi,
I'm having the same problem as you.
when you formatted the SD card, what format did you format it to?
Uninstall the SD card by disassembling your phone
Now the phone could fully start up without storage,
Use a card reader to format the SD card through PC, and install it back again, and after that do a hard reset to your phone by
1. Turn the phone off. Pull the battery and put it back again
2. Press and hold the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons and power the phone back on, (continue to hold Volume Up and Volume Down until a factory reset screen appears)
3. Now press Volume Down
Did you void the warranty after doing this? I'm having the same problem and i'm fearing opening it would void my warranty...is there any other way to do this without opening it up?
Check out HTC HD7 - Disassembly & Removal Of microSDHC Without Voiding Warranty at youtube
did you need to reflash again. Its surprising that all of the problems arose after the Nodo update?

Can't get into download mode

Hey
I used cwm to install Darkys Rom 10.2, it said successfully installed unfortunately when I reboot it shows the at&t logo and then goes back to the recovery menu. I tried installing it a second time same result. When I try to go into download mode using these methods
"2. The Power + Volume Down Method: If the phone doesn't display the "phone-exclamation mark-computer" picture on power up:
Remove and replace the battery.
Hold the Volume Down button while pressing the power button until the "Download Mode" picture displays. Then release the buttons.
3. If the phone is "semi-bricked"; i.e., the "phone-exclamation mark-computer" picture appears on power up (perhaps from a bad ROM flash):
Be sure the Samsung USB drivers for the phone are installed on your computer.
Remove and replace the battery.
Connect the phone to the computer with the USB cable. The "phone-exclamation mark-computer" picture should display on the phone's screen.
Hold the Volume Up+Volume Down+Power buttons down simultaneously. The screen should go blank, then the picture should appear again. When the screen goes blank a second time, release the Power button while continuing to hold the Volume Up+Volume Down buttons down.
4. If the phone does not allow you to go into Download mode after trying the aforementioned steps above you can try this method to "force" it into download mode:
Be sure the Samsung USB drivers for the phone are installed on your computer.
Remove the Battery, SIM Card, and any External SDCards.
With the Battery removed plug the USB into your phone.
While holding both the Up+Down Volume button and the USB is plugged into your phone - put the battery back into the back of the phone. You should see the Download mode screen pop up.
If you see the Powered Off Charging screen - attempt the above steps again."

it never goes into download mode, it simply shows an image of a battery. After a while it goes into recovery mode.
Any idea what I can do? I am still able to get into CWM, is there any way for me to get another ROM file in there so that I can try flashing another?
I tried putting in an external SD card but I can't browse it to use other rom files
If anyone has any suggestions I'd be very grateful
Thanks

In CWM, go to mounts and storage to mount your SD card and put another ROM on. Also, Darky 10.2 REQUIRES lagfix for data AND system which could be your problem now. Enable them if not and reflash

hello
my gf's phone was charging (using a pc) and when she unplugged it , it turned off and stopped turning on (READ EDIT) .. she tried battery pull but it didn't help .. when connecting to charger , it turns on to charging , but i couldn't find a way to turn it on to the operating system / recovery / download mode .. any ideas? (rom is slim ics 4.2 - in case it makes any difference)
EDIT: it didn't shut turn off immediately after unplugging it.. it turned off after about a minute (so idk if its related to charging or not)

First powerdown, pull out Battery, SIM CARD, and EXT.SD card, press power button for a minute, than powerup without SIM and Ext.SD Card....
or a solution from My Android Solutions
I told her to try that already but it didn't work.. and I read that thread too before I post but I couldn't find anything similar problem .. so I asked here hoping someone could help me out ..
Thanks for the reply

In this circumstances, you need to get the phone into download mode, so If you looked at the guide on
Problem:- Cannot enter Download or Recovery Mode
you will be left with the USB JIG if all else failed, If USB JIG failed too, than its possible to use JTAG to correct the bootloader, if that failed , than it would be a hardware problem, like attached image .
So try the tools and methods on My Android Solutions
But First powerdown, pull out Battery, SIM CARD, and EXT.SD card, press power button for a minute, than powerup without SIM and Ext.SD Card....
I'll see what I can do in this case .. thanks for the help!

If it's not starting at all, there's a possibility that the power button is broken.

i tried connecting the pins (see the link) using aluminum foil but it didn't work so i guess its not a power button issue ..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1193502&page=9
thanks for the reply though
for those who might face my problem and got here by googling the problem:
it turned out to be an issue with the power button .. figured that out when i used a usb jig and flashed an empty file in download mode with auto restart checked. that way , the cellphone restarted and it booted normally to android, and i tried there to turn the screen off with the power button but it didn't work..
Buy her a new one. She will thank you in a way you very much like hehe
Yea.. she has a S3 already

Boot into recovery menu ** NOT WORKING* JB

Hey there,
I have got a problem with my Razr i. I just wanted to start rooting respectively unlocking the bootloader of my razr i. I shutted down my phone and tried to boot into the recovery mode. Unfortunately not I was not working. I read that there are some issues about booting into the recovery mode. As mentioned, firstofall I tried it with the "POWER UP & DOWN & START BUTTON" pushed. After it I tried it just with POWER DOWN & START BUTTON at the same time. I tried it several times but still the same old problem. I have the JB 4.1.2. All of my developer options are disabled. That´s obviously not a big deal I just wanted to make sure. I don´t really know wheather Motorola has chanched something or not.
Thank you,
phlizzy
How to enter into recovery on JB was already covered few times, search button works fine...
Press and hold down button and power on, when phone vibrates (green led in on), release power button but keep holding down untill you get into recovery.
sd card
hello i had the same problem and after i removed the microSD card from the phone i could enter the fastboot
I just gave up and used Rom Toolbox Lite to get into recovery
