I ordered an N7 bag like that from amazon for 5 bucks, I hate folio cases and like the feeling of a bare tablet jn my hands. Only catch is it won't get here until Monday.
Anyone know if GS sells similar cases? I want to pick one up and return it once my case gets here.

Hi all,
my Nexus 7 Should be arriving early next week.
i need to Buy a Case and screen protector for when it arrives, but the Official Google Case for the nexus is not available in my Country (Australia)
Can someone please tell me how i can get hold of an official Google Case for the N7 in Australia??.
And can Someone Please tell me which is a good Screen Protector for the N7, and is available in australia..??

Do you think it would be possible to buy and replace the back cover for this device. My dog bit my Nexus 7 and there are some bit marks on the back.
Dunno...any scratches on the screen?
Give it some time but I am sure we will see a couple third party backs. Saw one on eBay already but didn't trust the seller.

You can always get a skin to put on it. I saw some cool looking ones on Amazon or eBay and was going to go that route until I opted for the keyboard case.

I saw a back cover for sale on ebay. I'm sure there's going to be plenty more for sale when the unit is actually released. I'm waiting for a nexus 7 tear down. I also want to know if the plastic rim around the tablet can be replaced as well. I kind of dented it and was wondering if it can be purchased.
That's one way to fix the screen seperation issue.

That's a generic system. NOT a "Nexus 7" keyboard and case. If you like it, buy it. My neighbor has one (looks identical) for his Coby 7" tablet. Myself, I don't like it. I'd rather use bluetooth.

Had one for my first 7" tablet a couple of years ago, cheap nasty keyboard and bulky case though the case gave quite good protection. The keyboard died after a few months.

I bought one...not all bad..you will need a USB on the go witch is always nice to have anyway. but the dig draw back is it will allow the tablet to slide out the sides...what I did was but a cheap snap on case and super glue to the lid that did the trick for me but I don't use it much

Yeah i saw that one, there are two variants a aluminium premium keyb and the chinese equivalent made of silver-painted plastic.

I think there's just the plastic one, I've yet to see a real aluminium one anywhere, unless you know of one?
Any word on this in the last few months? Just checking to see if there has been any movement on this yet.

Yeah i was checking periodically apparently they have them now, but none with glass and the lcd and the digitizer for less that 200 it appears. Will keep looking.
Has anyone purchased a replacement LCD from ebay lately?
There is some at alibaba.com for a bit less

For the amount of money and hassle it was going to cost to get a replacement and fit it I just bought a new tablet and put the other one out of its misery with a rubber mallet.
