yeah but i read that 10W51 and 11W08 hard bricked....
and in my case i hard bricked 11W46 and got a new motherboard with 11W19 so is it safe for me to unlock bootlaoder???
if the_laser made a tool for unlocking bootloader he can make a tool for security hole....

The ONLY reliable, and existing, way to tell if the phone is "security fixed" is through "GPG cable connection" ... as detailed by the_laser on setool.net
Also, the ONLY way to unlock the boot loader of 11W29+ devices (without hard bricking) is also by using a combined hardware/software approach. There's NO WAY to unlock the boot loader through software only.

Ok, the road is open for someone which buy the software and hardware and unlock, at good price, phone for all 11w29 in the world... Better if one for country. Could be a way to be busy and rich

If I were you I wouldn't try to unlock the bootloader if I weren't under warranty. Its more likely that you will hard brick you phone.if you still want to try it, you better be ready for the worst.
If you can afford the money there are safe paid methods which can unlock any date(11wxx,12wxx),but this has nothing to do with xda,so google is your friend

Some people have successfully unlocked the bootloader even tough they say that it isnt safe to unlock the bootloader is the manufacturing date is 11W29+
But it may not be the case for everyone.Sometimes it will be a hard brick and you may need to send it back to Sony to get it repaired and your warranty wont be considered as you were messing with the bootloader.Sometimes is you have a lot of luck,have enough money to replace athe phone and courage to try it then you are free to do it as you are the sole responsible person for your phone.You may be greeted by a Bootloader unlocked phone or a Hard Bricked phone.Its your choice!!
If you want to unlock bootloader to install a custom rom then you can try the roms that are for stock kernels.I think thats better than unlocking your bootloader.

I dont think so because swap has always been a feature that is found with custom kernels.Why is your phone slow?

I throwed all the Pieces of my Xperia Arc .To the Dustbin.

do it only if you can send it to repair if it hardbricks bro..
you should have tried sending the arc to repair shop instead of throwing it away

If u do it via s1 tool sure hardbrick if u want unlock via paid then in fb search for XPERIA UNLOCK SERVICE

The only thing i like at stock is the lockscreen. Anyhow if you are eager to support the consequences of hard brick , i wont esitate to try.

Root the x8 and flash the gingerDX rom for Stock Kernel! You dont need to unlock your bootloader!

use testpoint2 if im not mistaken to unlock bootloader from 11w28+
if you take the risk and it fails just relock the bootloader again and update it using PCC or SEUS to revive it again

[Q] Xperia X8 won't turn on!

Hello! I have tried to unlock bootloader on my Xperia X8 and i run msm7227 then my phone turned off and after that i can't:
-Turn it on.
-Go into flash mode.
and my computer won't recognize it. I have been reading every single post for that problem and everyone says "Go into flash mode" or "Install PC Companion and repair phone" etc.
If anyone has the same problem please help.

Try taking it to any shop that fixes phones. Or if you're real good at it use JTAG to revive the phone.

This is happening to a friends phone which I tried to update as I did with mine...
In my cellphone, it worked. On his, it's a hard brick...
Now I'm looking for a shop where they can fix it... do you know maybe the average price for this kind of repair?
PS: If you still have warranty, take it to where you bought it, and say that you left it loading overnight and the next morning you found that you can't turn it on. They'll replace it right away =)

Its sad to say that your phone is hardbriked..there are several posts in this forum which clearly says you should NOT TRY to unlock the boot loader on phones manufactured PAST 11W29..Anways
You have 3 options
1. Go to Sony service center (Recommended)
2. Use GTAG to unbrick..(only experienced ppl can do this i suppose.)
3. A software called SETool2 can also unbrick your phone if you are ready to pay some credits. Check this .
Happy unbricking and do post your experience if you use options 2 or 3.
