I've got a HTC OEM Beats Hands free headset that I used with my HTC Wildfire S and had to discontinue discontinue its use when I got my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S due to Sony using a proprietary wording format for the headsets for there phones.
I plugged the Beats Headset into my Nexus 7 yesterday and the Audio works fine and wondered if there is a way to get the Play/Pause and skip forward/backwards to work with Play Music?

Hey guys,
My headphones broke on my nexus s, wondering if the One that came with the evo 4g will work. Honestly I dont like the in ear one that it came with. Anyone know of one that is black and is like the evo 4g or iphone headset that works with our phone.
Thanks

Why don't you just try it? I don't see why it wouldn't work. They're all 3.5mm jacks.
Yes they work.

Not sure if you were saying you didn't like the in-ear headset the Nexus S comes with, but here's a link to that pair. They're also included with the Galaxy S devices, and I personally think they're very well built Samsung headphones at an absolutely unbeatable price.

Tried my Clarity HD with my Nexus 7. It pairs and says it is connected but there is no audio.
Anyone else with one get it to work?

I had this happen when I first tried to pair it. I had to pair it then unpair it. It will eventually pair properly. Sorry for the not so technical advice, but it's what I did to get it to work.
Will try it again now.
Edit: I have found that turning on the speakers before turning on Bluetooth to be key.

I totally forgot i got one from that bestbuy buy a zte android phone and get the speaker free 50 dollar bundle
so it works with nexus 7?
can i pair with more than one bluetooth device at a time?
I've got the Monster Clarity HD, and had no trouble whatsoever pairing it with my Nexus 7 16GB. (I do also run an audio booster - SpeakerBoost - at +35%.)
I just picked up the Clarity HD and it paired the first time with my Nexus 7. But one thing I noticed was that there is a noticeable delay when playing games (about 1 second) but not when I am playing videos. Is this a JB issue? Or something else?
AppRadio 2 or Nexus 7 for car audio center?
I was set on the Nexus 7 until I searched this forum and found some folks recommending micro PC's instead because the Nexus 7 wasn't the best for audio quality?
I just need Pandora and GPS and MP3 type capabilites. And
Movie watching.

Nexus 7 poor audio quality can be remedied by using a USB DAC (digital to analog converter), which takes a digital audio signal and converts to analog which would be supplied to your amplifier(s). This requires a kernal with USB audio-output capability (like faux123 kernel, Poitee kernel, etc). The biggest downside to this is that your built-in microphones will not work, and even if you get a DAC with audio-input capability the Nexus 7 can't work with USB audio input.

If you want quality audio, the Nexus 7 is going to fight you a bit. With low bit rate mp3's or Pandora, it should be fine. The only reason I use micro PC is because I molded a 7" LCD into my dash several years ago. This gives me everything I could ask for....lots of storage, clear audio and video. It also added about $700 bucks...micro ITX mb, case, DC to DC PS, SSD drive....etc.

Same here. I guess not all headphones are compatible with our phone.

Seems like there's a problem with either mid or high range sounds.. Has to be the jack itself, will try to find a compatible lead and reply with results when I do. Cheers.

I have some beats tour earphones witch work, I've tested them on my iPad and Nexus 4 and they get recognized but the HTC one does not seem to recognize that I've got them plugged in and plays music through speakers. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks
