Hi, I bought a bluetooth Keyboard with integrated touchpad from Itek. Everything works, but the mouse is a bit slow and I can't change the keyboard layout! I'm using a cm7 rom. Does anybody have a solution?
I am running a stock HD+ , and just purchased a logitech K810 Illuminated BT keyboard which I really like.
Problem is that the K810 needs a 6 digit PIN to pair with the nook, and unlike my motorola triumph with a custom ICS rom, the nook simply won't display the pin, meaning no pairing will occour. (This was not a problem with the logitech mediaboard pro KB, which I also own, but which is too big and cumbersome for travel).
Would appreciate any advice about how to get this working. Happy to root or otherwise mess with the hardware if that is necessary to get it working.
TIA!!
RE: [NookHD+] CM10.1 native emmc install
Anyone with actual "hands on" experience using a bluetooth keyboard with the emmc installed CM10.1 native HD+?
If so, would greatly appreciate a brief overview of your experiences with that setup and also possible reccomendations for a bluetooth keyboard.
Looking to fully utilize my convereted HD+ as a fullblown Android tablet.
Thanks in advance.

I had an old folding BT keyboard (that, believe it or not, I bought for my Dell Axim many years ago) lying around. Tried it with the emmc installed CM10.1 and it works like a champ -- no problem pairing at all. A bit of a delay between typing and appearing on the screen but not enough to annoy me. If I really think I'm going to use a BT keyboard I'll probably get a new one, but this one folds up to the size of a cellphone and is pretty handy when traveling.

I bought a Logitech Tablet Bluetooth keyboard from Amazon.
It's a bit larger than the standard "in-case" style keyboards, but it includes it's own hard case that also acts as a stand if you don't have a case for your tablet.
Setup was easy. Just like any BT device, you initiate the pairing, pick the Logitech Keyboard and type in a pairing code on the KB.
It works great and paired with a BT mouse, it makes working with spreadsheets and other items too small to use your finger with any accuracy, possible.
Highly recommend. Next, I'm going to try one of various case-plus-keyboard combo's for the Nook HD+ on Amazon and compare it to this.
Two quick follow-ups:
1. Which model Logitech are you referring to?
2. Would you keep us/me posted as to your ongoing testing?
Thanks.
Disregard #1 as I didn't catch you Amazon link. Tried it and now have my answer!
A bit late to this party, but I use a Logitech BT Tablet Keyboard for iPad on my HD+ running verygreen's CM10.1 off emmc.
It looks like it's the same one that lancorp uses, but with iPad key functions; model number is 920-003241.
Works fine, although a touch laggy. I wrote a couple of pages of a paper and some emails last night off it. It missed a few keystrokes every so often, but that's been my same experience on iPad and Nexus 7.
It was trivially easy to pair.
I just got a RT-UMK-100-BT and only the mouse well track pad is working not the keyboard. I paired it with my computer and it works fine, anyone else tried this mini keyboard out?
Tried it on my Friends S3 and it also works great!!! I really wanted this to work.

I picked up an iHome iPad cover with integrated bluetooth keyboard on clearance.
The problem is this: the Nook HD+ keeps disconnecting from the keyboard after 10 seconds of inactivity. The keyboard awakens upon keypress (and the light flashes denoting a new connection), but the first keypress is gobbled up by the keyboard. The Nook's logs indicate that a new HID connects each and every time the keyboard awakens. Boo. This interrupts data entry in text fields that pay attention to the keyboard being minimized and/or disconnected.
I have a folding Think Outside bluetooth keyboard that does not exhibit this behavior with the Nook HD+ -- so I began to suspect the keyboard might be refined for only iPad/iPhone use.
I paired the iHome keyboard with the following and it never times out. In fact it works flawlessly.
- Windows Phone
- Windows 8 (bluetooth 2.1 with EDR USB dongle)
- Samsung Galaxy 10.1 2013 edition
- Linux (Fedora Core 16) on Compaq TC1100 (Bluetooth 2.0 only)
- iPhone IOS 6
Has anyone else experience bluetooth keyboard disconnects with the Nook HD+?
Thanks!
