Hi everybody.
I have a problem
I followed the instructions from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2187363&page=32 to get CWM for locked Bootloaders.
Everything was fine, it worked, I did already a backup with the CWM. Then I rebooted to the OS, went home, wanted to reboot to recovery to try to flash a custom stock based ROM, but now I can not get anymore into the recovery. Neither with booting up and pressing the volume key, nor with titanium backup and boot to recovery option.
I tried to reinstall CWM using the script, but no success to get into CWM. See also the screenshot attached from krabappel2548's script.
Any Ideas??

I don't know if that is the solution. I suppose files are gone or missing or anything like that? I wrote to the dev a PM to read this thread. I hope he can help us.
Just tested: Same issue with TWRP recovery....
I have a locked Bootloader (unlocking is not allowed), an rooted with the easy rooting script. Sony Xperia Z
I read from a user that it also has something to do with a file conflicting with the rooting for locked bootloaders, my XZ is in for repair now, but I'll take a look as soon as I have it back

Just to inform everybody who may have the same problem:
I reseted the Z via sony update service (also did a FW upgrade), rooted with latest easy root and installed then CWM for locked bootloaders.
Now it seems working fine. was able to boot into recovery several times.
Hi Guys,
I have a 6500 with NFC. I bought it in Europe, so its not the 6500D.
But i think i have a 6500D bootloader
when rooting with odin: it tells me 6500D
when flashing or restoring with other ROMS, it tells me 7500
strange. ha?
but never the less: i cant install the rom from the.wisp.
it stops in the beginning when checking the phone-model
what did you use when rooting with odin?
thnx

hi, i found a solution: i installed stock-rom with odin, made a factory-reset and installed everything again. now it works. tnx. im very happy i got rid of the old software. cm looks and feels much better
but i have a few questions with that rom (30.08):
i installed another file-browser because the shipped one doesent see any files on my external sd-card... what could that be?
i sometimes have the whitescreen-problem. i searched for a solution, but there are several out there...?
in the statusbar there is no button for gps? how can i see that?

im not curently on CM but go to stock file manager > option > you will find some option to enable your sdcard ( sorry i dont remember entirely but im sure there was something there)
about that white screen bug there is nothing that anybody can do , at least not right now .
For browsing ext sd use ES file explorer (go to / and search for folder external SD)
So yeah i bricked my phone, its stuck in a damn bootloop and i cannot enter recovery no matter which one i install.
I even flashed stock rom via odin and tried both flashing twrp and cwm, none worked, whichever rom is installed i still get in a damn bootloop and i cannot boot into recovery (blank screen).
Is there anything i can do for my phone?
Thank you all in advance
Try to flash Dorimanx Kernel using Odin (v9.34 for JB Roms, v8. for Stock Roms)
I will upload a guide tomorrow for people facing problems with their recovery. I will edit this when its finished.
EDIT: Here it is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2441940
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Hit Thanks please

can you tell me what did you do to caused that ? or do you have download mode ?
anyway it seems to me a hard break . probably you messed your boot . you got two options:
1.use "RescuePDA" (you can find the thread and every thing in galaxy mini II development)
2.take it to a service center

Download mode is the only thing that works, as i said recovery wont boot and any rom i install is getting into a bootloop. ((
I used triangle away, the problems started after that. I had cwm and cm 10.1 08/18
Is there any way to factory reset using odin?
I have the same exact problem.
I follow the discussion with interest.

Zeruel, i seem to have somehow fixed the problem, however not entirely.
I downloaded some random recovery rom, flashed it with odin and wiped everything (cache, factory reset, dalvik cache), and reinstalled cm 10.1.
Then i flashed back the thewhisp's recovery and booted into cm with no problem.
However now i cannot boot into recovery using volume+- and home and power button, i have to boot to it from the cm.
That i dont know how to solve, but at least my phone works fine
Thank you, but I think to have solved the problem with RescuePDA.
A big thanks go to dlb4all, thank you a lot mate.

everything went fine in Odin, no error messages, but my phone is stuck on the initial loading screen (that one with the samsung logo) and it's not loading properly.. I tried to wait like 10 minutes, but nothing changed..
How can I restore everything as it was before? Or flash properly a new rom??
Please help, I'm afraid I broke it..
Thank you in advance for any advice

Hello!
Can you get into download or recovery mode?
If you can go to recovery try wipe cache and if it doesnt work try wipe data but remember it deletes all apps!!

Don't worry, it is just a digestion problem (bootloop). CF-root doesn't work with every firmware. If yours wasn't compatible, bootloop is normal reaction. Check my last thread and there you can find step-by-by step guide how to unbrick it.

Great, mate- I'm glad it works again
CF-Root is made AMAIK for Gingerbread ROMs only, and if you have Froyo it is enough to flash SpeedMod root kernel that already features CWM recovery, Busybox and SU. You should always ready very carefully the first posts of the files you flash, so you will void many potential problems.
If you did it after my unbrick guide thread, backup your IMEI No as soon as you root your phone (described how to)
Just click "thanks" button beyond posts which were useful for you, it is our way to express it on this forum (and many us here are visiting the forum to help each other)

Which Odin version did you use and what exacactly did you try to flash? Which system / Android version is installed om the phone?

Hi XDAs,
Today, i have encountered a problem on my Samsung Galaxy mini II (GT-s6500D)
[Few weeks ago] When i rooted my phone using Poot and installed Superuser, everything was fine.. Then, i downloaded CWM and after it, my phone wouldn't boot into CWM Recovery even with the usual recovery button pressing. It could only boot into download / normal booting.. Also, it cant even boot into recovery mode. it will just vibrate and reboot.
Now [few weeks later after rooting] i have a new problem with my phone.. ALL of my data cables wouldn't connect/ charge my S6500D when it is connected to my laptop/ Yoobao's wall charger. But but but, it seemed to be able to charge when i connected it to my authentic samsung wall charger..
The problem seemed to happen like just out of sudden .. no apps were installed before the problem happened..
Ok, so then, i remembered that early this afternoon i was asked by my phone to update software.. It was on gb 2.3.6 .. so, i thought the cable error could be due to some internal driver fault (?)
Edit : It now boots into CWM recovery even if i try to boot normally and didn't press the recovery buttons . It will also auto boot into CWM recovery if i reboot through the CWM recovery menu.. This new problem happens when my phone reboots after "updating software". Other than that, my phone can also boot into download mode (both through Jig and button pressing). BUT, odin will be unable to detect my phone..
Is there any piece of advice you guys could tell me or where i can start with? i hope that there could be a solution..
Thanks alot in advanced!
Help please
You should have the only avaible Odin version (CWM 6.0.3.3).
Actually, it is bugged and it was solved in CWM 6.0.4.5.
You've just to install the newer CWM as you'd install CM10.x/11.
In the new CWM, you won't have any reboot problem
Hope that will help

You can find CWM by going on thewhisp's goo.im and goo to jena-recovery.
Link can be found in the development section of mini 2 here on the forums.
