Hi, need clarify on the firmware update.
I have been looking around the firmware update regarding ver.10f.
Im Malaysian n of coz bought an asian / malaysia set, but so far im available to update it to ver.10e only.
is there any news or info when malaysia having ver.10f? or is there any chance i can upgrade other country official firmware without root?
What current version for Malaysia? Im also Malaysia but now im running V10F..

You can easily flash a Euro Open firmware with the kdz updater. It works without root or something, you just won't get FOTA any more.
10e is the same that 10f but with your local setups.
I`ve made a research and found out that all latest firmwares have a 20mb difference from the previous lates one
Example:

I guess asian 10e is equal to european 10f and brazialian 10c, based on the size of the updates they have
im almost shure you wont have 10f in malasia bcause you already have a updated version like 10f but with another word: E

Thx, im looking for the guide without root now. but most of the post or thread i read they need to root becoz need to set the permission.

hi thx for the clarify. But i just asked another user and he is using malaysian set same as me and used v10e before. He rooted his phone and using the KDZ updater to v10f. according to him there is differences between 10e and 10f on battery consumption and heat reduction when gaming.
V10F got problem here, my connection so so slow like hell, so i just dowgrade V10E right now..

But how to flash the specific ROM to the phone? LG Suite seems cannot choose a download ROM to flash...
hmmm I see Hong Kong have v10c! I wonder if that would help our battery life/hot battery / camera focus issues

It's very easy in Europe (Thank you LG Europe). System Settings>About Phone>Software Update>Check Now for Update and boom - V10f.

Hello everybody.While i was searching about an ICS update OTA ,i found out that a newer version (gingerbread) had been released.So i did the update from V20q to V20t.The only difference that i noticed, is that the four softkeys vibrate again.
Does anybody know anything more about this update?

The software versions are named v10x for ICS or v20x for JellyBean where the "x" stands for the version which will be "a" for the first version and after that just the alphabet following (e.g. v20a -> v20b)
The higher the version letter the better/newer the version.
So your v10c probably contain bug fixes and new softwares or something like that

I am looking to downgrade to Android 4.0.3 but it seems that page that has LG P880 firmware doesnt have some of them , I am at V20A, I would like euro open V10H(is this the one with temeprature control?) or V10D with spanish or english included, thanks
