Here is a Chrome Browser plugin which is for downloading Google PlayStore apps as APK on your computer,its simple to do and work well,have tested a pair minutes ago.

Steps for install and setting:

Whats needed?
1. Latest Chrome Browser
2. Android Device ID.apk its attached at bottom
3. APK Downloader Chrome Extension its attached too,its zipped,so extract it

I HAVE ATTACHED PICS WITH NUMBERS,SO LOOK FOR 1.1 WHEN YOU READ GUIDE 1.1 AND SO ON!!!!
Make sure you have latest Chrome installed

Download and install Device ID on your Phone

Download and extract Chrome extension
----------
1.1 Open Chrome settings and go to Tools and than Extensions

1.2 Now drag and drop the extracted Extension file in this Windows,it install,just type OK and activate it
Now click on OPTIONS
-----------
1.3 You see APK Downloader option,there you must add the google email adress that u use for PlayStore and your Device ID.

1.4 For this open Device ID in your Phone, you find the "Google Service Framework (GSF ID KEY),type this code in the field from APK
Downloader Options.
Click Sign In.

NOTE: Dont edit anything under advanced+device settings,leave it by default,otherwise it doesnt work!!!!!!

1.5 Now go to Playstore and look for an app you whant download.
When you are on the site for example Nova Launcher you see a lil green Android right in your searchbar
Just click on the android and voila its downloaded.

1.6 Now go to your downloads folder and there it is.

when i click on option appear a new tab with this link chrome-extension://jdpglblnnaocjhfenhockgamhoogihfi/options.html but this page is offline

i can port the apk file but it will not run........if u install only the apk file...
u have to run the zip file to work.....

I've been using LineageOS 14.1 rom and I've noticed that inbuilt weather wizard does not work, It only shows time. Neither the google weather Is there any fix for that?
Also the links provided are dead. Please update them.

I meant what version of the widget
I installed the v4 . But , after installing , nothing happened . I cant find the apps in the app drawer / widget section.
