Help my forum grow :)!

Technically not my forum I'm just a mod, but this first one is tech related. To get to the forum click "Forum" by home.

This one I pretty much solely moderator as the admin moderators Techgeeks a little we are currently trying to get this one onto a new server . It has to do with GPT's (Get paid To's) It's basically ways to get free money legally, and quickly.

Regarding SHIPPING & BACKORDER threads

From now on, all new threads in the Nexus 4 General section related to shipping, back orders, Google customer service, or ANYTHING else related to ordering/receiving your N4 from the Play Store will be closed without notice. Use the main shipping thread found here, or use one of the existing backorder or country-specific threads.

Question to the (One of The) Mods Of This Forum

My thread here was locked, and there was no reason posted. I understand if the lock is justified, but I'm just wondering whether it was a matter of not being Nexus related or whether it goes under the clause for some kind of advertisement, or what exactly it was. I don't know who exactly locked it or I'd just PM them directly, so yeah...

Looks like you're spamming the board with this stuff and your signature and it probably benefits you in some way.
You apologize IF you broke any rules, did you even bother reading them?

i'm thinking that has something to do with it...

Oh, I missed the referral link part >.>. There was a thread in one of my past forums where people were exchanging Dropbox referral links which was left open, and I guess I assumed it was okay. Am I allowed to keep it in my signature, or is that not allowed either?
As for PM'ing the mods, I don't know if there are specific ones moderating this forum or whether they are universal to all the forums, and I'm pretty sure there a lot of mods overall.

I don't really get it what part of that quote was a bad thing. The other codes provide no benefit to me, other than the first one, if that's what you're wondering.
In the end, it's a discount for people starting new T-Mobile contracts which is a lot of people in this forum, and I'm not making any more than they are. Plus, I can only add 10 people under me, and I can't add any more people or ways to make money beyond that, so I was not looking for monetary gains as opposed to just offering a way to save money. That being said, the rules of this forum are up to the XDA people and I'll respect them.

if you are looking for the mods of this forum or any forum for that matter, just look at the top of each sub forum in the phone's forum. like listed at the top of Nexus 4 General section it show the forums mods. which are efrant, Papa Smurf151, 'cooleagle'

Wow, you really do learn something new every day. But yes, thank you for pointing this out, and I'll be sure to do that from now on. This thread can now be locked or deleted or whatever else necessary.

What is happening?

I've been away and I'm disappointed and disturbed by all the splinter groups starting up for different countries.
This is supposed to be ONE COMUNITY WITH ONE LANGUAGE. It states this. Splitting off is nothing short of breaking up XDA though self imposed racism.
It stinks on a thread where the phone is identical everywhere. Use Google translate.
Don't undue the ideals of the site.
If you want an Arab thread I'm sure one exists in your own country. This is not a site of race groups. We are all the same with the same love of technology.
Lord knows why the moderators let this happen.
I've even seen an English thread. This is harmful racist and dumb. I'd bet money it's newer members. If you don't like it as it is move. Don't fragment the site into the dust

Why not? There might be some country specific questions which might be better answered in a country specific thread.
There are lots of questions related to carriers and accessories which might be country specific. It's easier to ask those questions in a country specific thread.

Exactly, let's not be fooled by political correctness. Creating a country specific thread and spreading hate or taking initiative against other race/nation/country etc...yup it's the same

Speak for yourself. I find your post more of those things than any other language oriented thread I've read on this site, congrats.

This has already been discussed and country specific threads are allowed on XDA as long they are not made exclusive, they stay on topic (i.e. where to find the best deals in a given locale, carrier reviews, etc.), and the discussions being carried on in these threads stay within the rules.
With that being said, this particular discussion only stands to stir up trouble and cause arguments, so I have no choice but to close it.

You can add updates to your thread (ie new features for an app., etc), BUT only update if you are posting relevant to the topic and NOT with the sole purpose of getting the thread to the top of the page (known as "bumping") otherwise it will be considered as spam.
