Has anyone used the USB host / USB / SD card adapter below for the galaxy tab?
http://www.amazon.com/QQ-Tech®-Mult...=1-11&keywords=galaxy+tab+usb+sd+card+adapter
On paper it seems ideal as you can both charge and read devices / cards, but there are so many that are crap out there that I am wondering if anyone had experience with it ?
Thanks for any feedback
I have a usb-only device, that's very cheap and works fine. Can't think why it wouldn't work, since it's just basic wiring. The device is the actual usb host, etc.
Thanks, but other 5 in 1 adapters like this one have received dreaded reviews from people, saying everything from it does not work at all to it is flimsy and disconnects very easily.
I could not find any reviews on the one I referenced above, and this is why I am trying to get some feedback from anyone who would have actually used it
I bought one of those and they don't seem to workmwith CM10. When I changed the kernel it worked, but ony once.

If only inspecting costs that much, you should buy a new one....

Indeed, chances are it will be close to 50% of the price of a new one with the chance of them messing it up instead of fixing it. And you will be without a tablet during the repairs (which can be 5 weeks + from what I've read others say). Probably best to cut your losses and get a new one. But since it's apparently a hard to give answer, I'm beginning to become curious as well
I'm constantly changing my phones so rather then get sim replacement I just get adaptor. Before I inserted my nano sim I wanted to know whether it was save enough to do so? I had a bad experience with Nokia phone using adaptor which got trapped and phone was damaged. Dont want to make same mistake.
Thanks for reading.

I picked up 2 packs of those for use in my office and have had no problems.
Just make sure not to bend the plastic adapter and make sure the sim card is filed. When you pop the card out of the credit card holder when they are new there are small plastic tabs left in some cases. Those can cause problems in adapters. .
Hello,
I hope someone of you can help. I had problems with my usb-port, my computer didnt recognize my phone anymore. Somebody told me I should try to install ruu, so I used the htc1guru reset file to go back to stock without loosing my root.
Now I went back to stock but I lost my root rights as well.
How can I root my phone with my broken usb port? :s I have no recovery anymore. what to do?
thanks in advance

damn. well, I will sell my phone in the next weeks/months. After 3-4 years HTC I'll switch to LG or Samsung. Sorry HTC. A LG g2 with micro sd card and removable battery would be perfect.

you will try LG , Samsung or Nokia etc., but you will back to HTC soon
if you look for SD card and removable Battery, you can buy HTC Desire's models
about 5 years ago, i still use HTC phones, before that i changed the brand about 5 times
the day-one i used HTC, i can't change or use another brand

well, There is just the htc desire 310 and 500 with a removeable battery and these models are not really interesting for me. The 816 and 610 have non removeable batteries.
I dont really like Samsung, but its the galaxys5/4 is the only high-end-phone with removeable battery. I know there is a lgg2 model with removeable battery and sd card, but I cannot buy that one here in Germany. Im waiting for the LG g3 and decide afterwards. Lets see if another can replace a HTC phone
Dear All.
I want to buy Digitizer Replacement for my Atrix HD on Ebay.
But, I doubt which one will be working well.
Does anyone have clue or something about how to choose the Digitizer?
My friends said that the good one will have ATMEL on the chip.
But, I couldn't find the one who got ATMEL Chip on the Digitizer.
Fine the one that matches the part number on your current LCD/digitizer.

Is that any code on the digitizer such as Serial Number or CHIP Manufacturer such as ATMEL?
Anyone know the digitizer is seperate from the LCD?

Nope, no markings IIRC. I'd just say to get any digitizer that says compatible with Atrix HD MB886 and you'll be fine.
Anyone know how to solve this issue?
Verizon S8+ no signal, altought recognizes the inserted sim and imei is ok.
Trying NV Rebuild and EFS CLEAR & RESTORE via Factory Rom (combination file) using code *#2763368378#, and reflashing of rom didn't work either. Also can't reinstall CSC through this menu

Is it a blacklisted device if so it wont get signal. If it was a subsidized device and not paid off it also falls under blacklist.

By chance did you replace the USB port. I read a couple guys with this issue solved by replacing the USB. I dont know how they are connected. But that's what they say

In this case is needed to acquire a new usb port? or just reconnecting fix it?
The issue lies in the daughter board.
The daughter board contains the charging port, the antenna for network reception.
I got it replaced at the service center and its working fine now. There are parts available on ebay and amazon if you want to replace them yourselves.
But recommend you to do it at the official service center so that the water seals are put back in the right way
