Has anyone tried these:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Metal-Alumi...469?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item23236c2d8d
They are available in various colours on eBay. All about US$35.
A bit expensive but if they fit well they would be ideal for me. The device is big enough that I am looking for something that provides protection without adding much bulk. This seems to fit the bill.
Tried something similar today; however I couldn't plug my headphones in afterwards so I didn't get it.

I like the way it looks, but how well does it protect the back of the device?
Looks very nice, but I need a picture of it on the device.

I am looking for a bumper case myself for the GNII that i'm gonna get in a few weeks, but i'd rather have a rubberized one than a metal one. I wouldn't want it to scratch the phone, and I think a rubber one would protect the phone better if it were to drop.

This is great metal case.
I had something similar for the N7000. made the phone seem way too bulky and somewhat ugly. wasn't my taste
I'm thinking of grabbing this case. How bulky is it? Can someone post up any pics so i can see how it looks on the G2? Thanks in advance

Not much bulk at all compared to a few of the others I've tried. I was using the Ballistic case and switched to the Incipio Dual Pro. This feels much better in the had and is easier to get in and out of my pocket. At work right now so can't post any pics I'll try to post a couple when I get home.
I have the feather and dual pro case. I am impressed by the Incipio products. I've always been an otterbox fan, but I'm really impressed by the dual pro, feels great in your hand and not too bulky, just wish it had port covers.
I attached my pics. Love it. Best case imo.
Thanks guys. It looks really good & I'm seriously considering going with the white one. I just got my bodyguardz skin and am debating if i should return it for this case now. Decisions decisions lol
I like my cases being not slick or slippery. What is the texture like?

It feels like matte heaven! Not slick at all. I don't think it could feel any better.

Someone in the big thread got the white one. It stains easily. He contacted customer support and they basically shrugged him off. Told him he might be able to send it in for warranty.

It was hard to find and you will not like the price! - at least I didn't, I'm a cheap SOB.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Incipio-LGE...or-Lgcase-G2-Verizon-lge215blk-/331047118761?
Shipping is free though and it did come pretty fast.
It's cheaper at shop BLT, item BTE5749.
Case thickness question
I like to holster my phones. I have the Verizon OEM holster but don't like the case. The feather around the G2 fits snugly into the holster but is too bare for me and I can't locate the Dual Pro in a retail store. Does anybody know if this is substantially thicker than the feather.

I have it and love it. I consider it the middle-ground between bulky and thin. Its not too bad. Its slick and feels nice in the hand. And offers great protection for the amount of bulk it does add.

Agreed. I could potentially see it slipping out of sweaty hands though. It's a tad slick but overall I love the case
Just got myself the Incipio Dual Pro (Verizon) after going commando for the first 4 days of my life with the G2. It just felt so delicate without a case, so I felt like I had to try something, even though I'm generally a no-case kind of guy.
Looks and feels really great, and really makes the phone feel a little more substantial and safe in the hand when you're picking it up and setting it down. I like that the outside of the shell has a little bit of slickness, but a little bit of grippiness too. It goes in and out of my pants pockets fairly easily, although the silicone top and bottom do provide a bit of resistance. I absolutely LOVE the way it covers the buttons on my Verizon version, and makes them feel so much better to find and touch.
As far as bulkiness, it makes the G2 a little thicker than I'd hoped, but that's the price I'll have to pay for having a better tactile feel in the hand, and a bit of security, especially from random bumps and bruises. Will it survive a fall? I'd say may I increased my chances of surviving a fall by 50%, but still don't have high hopes if I drop it on concrete or anything. There's just a lot of screen on the G2 to potentially not shatter it to death in the event of a fall.
I ordered it on Staples online for $22 shipped. Arrived in less than 2 days with their standing shipping method. I'm still considering picking up the Incipio Feather to see if it feels better to me, but I'm gonna ride with the Dual Pro for a while first.
I just switched from a ballistic to the dualpro and I'm loving it.
One question though, what screen protector are you guys using with it? Right now I'm using one of the cheap vzw ones but would love to find a tempered glass that fits with the case.
Thanks

I am looking into a Dualpro and would like to know if it fits well with the iLoome Screenmate. D800 if it matters...
Anyone use a wireless charger with it on? I have the feather and I am thinking of getting this next. The Droid branded wireless charger works just fine with feather left on.
I really like the feather, its the perfect minimal case, I have had it since day one. Recently I've dropped it three times, each time it saved it! Very impressed, but I'm worried I will run out of luck, so I am considering upgrading.
Hello,
Here you can add some real life review about the original produits proposed by OnePlus itself for the OP3, like TGSP, case, ...
Thank you.
Getting my Rosewood case tomorrow. Hope will fit well.
Heard it doesn't give too much of a protection and scratches a bit.

yeah you're right. my brother had one on his old oneplus x. The protection wasn´t very good.
I bought me the flip case original from oneplus for my op3. The quality is ok but it have no magnet so the cover get open on its own
After these i bought me finally a Case by Tudia.

UK link (i live in germany so you cant use the german link https://www.amazon.co.uk/TUDIA-Slim...id=1473771803&sr=8-3&keywords=oneplus+3+tudia
Its about 16Euros and about 11 pounds
The TPU are harder then i thought and doesn´t bend too much
The plastic shell on the back are like rubbery. It gives you a very good feeling when holding your phone

Aren't they too big for you? I bought Rosewood Case just because it's stylish and slim in the same time. Strong "armours" are great, but they lack in overall appearance of the phone. And even while phone by itself is minimalistic, in case looks like Nokia 3310
But yeah, it's a matter of preferences. I understand yours.
Cheers!

The Case is not too big. It's not an Bullet proof Case.
For me it's perfect and the feeling is much better than with the original Case for me
But everybody have to decide by themself which protection is the best for them
PS: i know the name at Amazon for my case is a little bit strange. It says heavy duty and extreme protection but it's like an normal protection.
But as I said before everyone should buy only one Case which are perfect for themself
I plan on using this.

Its true to its name.
And apart from being very grippy for oily hands like mine it is stylish as well as protective.

Looks really nice. You can see it covers the top of the phone unlike the style covers. Reminds me of the Apple leather cases for the iPhone which aren't bad.
Is made from Genuine Leather.
Genuine Leather is among the cheapest types of leather and is barley above being glued together pieces. I'll be excited if they ever use a full grain although it'd be overkill.
Indeed, looks very nice. Hopefully it holds up well.
I will buy that one. looks so elegant

Yep, it seemed to disappear for a while.
But, it's back now.
I ordered one the day it became available, or, at least, I saw it online again..the 27th of December.
So, it's winging its way to me now!
However, when I checked my account, it already seems to be "out of stock!" :crying:
I agree with those who think it look very much like the iPhone 6+ case which I've seen on a friend's phone.
I'm not particularly into cases that leave the top and/or bottom exposed, which is why I've abandoned the OEM Sandstone case which I bought with it, in favour of a (much) cheaper hard case by Pelosi, which, at least, fits all the way around.
But, this one is just too nice looking and tempting to resist and if it looks as good as the 6+ case, I'll probably risk keeping it on the phone..otherwise, it may, very quickly end up on eBay!
I'd love to see more photos and videos of this. I'd immediately buy one, but unfortunately it's currently out of stock in Germany...
Received today. It doesn't feel real lether at all, however it smells as a genuine leather stuff.,the biggest weakness of the case is,that it is quite slippery.I'm a bit disappointed .

Mine arrived today.
And, I have to agree with you. It's OK, but for that price?
It fits really snugly, although it did reboot my phone and I hit the panic button as it started going through all sorts of weird things on the restart. I ended up removing it and force-closing the phone.
It's been fine since, the buttons are amazingly responsive IMO>
It reminds me very much of the Snugg Leather Case for the iPhone 6 in look and feel, however, unlike the Snugg, it doesn't protect the bottom.
Although I don't like that, I could live with it, although, to me, it just looks weird from certain angles!
So much so, that I've removed it and put a Spigen Rugged Armor Case on, which, IMO, looks and feels better in the hand.
To be honest, I looked at the returns policy, but, having slightly damaged the packaging on opening, it looks like OnePlus won't take it back anyhow.
So, I'll probably try it for a few days and see if it "molds" itself around the phone better at the bottom corners..otherwise, it'll be appearing on eBay pretty damn quick!

Well, at least, it hasn't gone to waste..
I'm happy with the Spigen Case, or even the original Sandstone....but I don't want to go down the road I did with the iPhone 6 and end up ditching the phone because I couldn't find a decent case/screen protector combo for it!
Which, if any, case are you using?

There was a thread the other day about artek giving free cases so they could get reviews for it, i have been using it for about a week and here's my review:
I recently bought a note 8 so i was looking for different cases, this is one of them.
It is made of real leather so that's always a plus. Now i almost all the time prefer minimalist cases because last couple of samsung phones are just so darn pretty and i like to show it off but this time i wanted to try something different.
It's a case i won't be using everyday because of the same thing but i have been using it for the last week an do far i like most of it specially the attention to detail and that it covers the screen as well.
I have tried wireless charging and yes it works, i'm guessing it will work with some chargers and not with others, the one i'm using has 2 coils i don't know if that has anything to do.
PROS:
+ Real Leather
+ Decent protection for the phone
+ PURDY
+ When using this there's no need to carry a wallet anymore since you can put your cards and some cash in there.
+ Perfect fit.
CONS:
- Using the fingerprint was hard enough with Samsung's fingerprint location, with this case it's even harder.
- Screen doesn't turn on automatically when opening case.
- Bulky, won't be comfortable if you are wearing skinny jeans.
At the end, i would say its a good purchase.
