Hi, I tried changing the status bar theme of my tab 7.7 (6810 running official ICS 4.0.4)
So i replaced them with the once provided in the forums.
Then i realised that i replaced them with the OLD honeycomb files which no longer work
So curently i have no status bar on my tab :crying:
I'm currently using GMD gesture control to navigate between apps.
Can some one please provide me the official SystemUI api and odes files for my samsung 6810 ICS version.

Hi i have question, How make status more attractive than in Android 2.3 ? In 2.3 it is so ugly for me :/ I try to instal theme but i dont now how I only would change status bar. Any .apk file to do this ? I'm begginner at this
AT LAST i find someone who agree with me about how ugly the gingerbread bar is!
As for the themes you flash them in recovery, worked great for me so far.
I make my themes (you can choose to only change statusbar) here: http://uot.dakra.lt/
Just follow the how to guide for finding the framework and systemUI apk and add the theme you want for everything but the statusbar from system --> app folder if you use a CM 7 rom
Hi everyone,
I think one of the best features on a custom ROM so far is the extended power menu that can be customized. I found it in Galaxy ROM and I think it is also in SauROM. You can choose toggles that you want to have in the power menu and this way it is possible to access them even from the lockscreen. It was created by Jkay who is no longer active in SGS development because he got a SGS II.
So my queston is, how is it possible to get the Jkay deluxe (how it is called) power menu and also the customizable notification toggles out of the ROM and put it into any other deodexed JW1 ROM?
As far as I know the following files are responsible for:
SystemUI.apk - Status Bar
android.policy.jar - Lock screen and Power Menu
framework-res.apk - theming and notification toggles (?)
tsmparts.apk - Settings tool for Jkay deluxe (?)
Is this correct?
Any suggestions how to accomplish this?
Thanks!
I have similar questions. I like a way that was used in SBamboo XWJW1 ROM, now to be used for XXJVU. Where can we get these apks? Which post should we read?
Cheers!
it seems that most devs don't implement it anymore as it is not supported anymore. there is a old thread by Jkay but it just gives you the files to add the mod, but does not show how to do the changes to a newer firmware.
The last firmware I saw it on was DJBROM on JW1. So the dev djb77 should know how to implement it. He plans to release a JVU version soon.
So, I've been looking around, and it seems the only way to get a transparent status bar for the Galaxy Ace is to flash a custom rom. Is this true? Or have I not looked into this properly?
I'd really like to be able to use one, preferably without having to switch to a different rom. I have stock...
Check the SGA themes and apps section there are couple of mods for transparent status bar I bet there'll be one for stock

is it real
check this out:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1452118 there are a lot like this one, check out the themes and apps section
The only transparent theme for stock is MEIZU ported by Seilent. But it's only for 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 stock roms.
I am using an official CM9 Nightly on my Galaxy S, i managed to compile a theme to remove the gingerbread mess that google left in there, however some apps still use the default orange progress bar rather than the newer ICS one, does anyone know how to change this?? I have opened up the Titanium Backup apk to see if the default orange progress bar was there in order to replace it but it wasn't so I am stumped with this one any help is appreciated
Before I start trying to do my own mod tonight after work is there already a centre clock only mod floating around for HTC Stock 4.2.2?
I've done a search but so far have only turned up a couple of AIO Mods that change the battery and status bar which I don't want.
TIA
I am using the Google Play Edition ROM and I'd love that mod as well. I tried following the instructions here in order to modify the SystemUI but I am not able to get it to work.
