[Q] need alittle help...

i have a captivate sgh-I897,2.2 firmware kernel 2.6.32.9 froyo build.
i have rooted my phone my problem is that when i find another rom to download it will dwwnld. fine but will not install i don't know if im not doing something i should or what would appreciate any help with this.

Give us some detail as too how you go about trying to install it. Where you download it too....etc..

Search for the error you see. That's usually a good idea.

I'm using the sgs app locate roms download then move to ex.SD. card then install from there and i do the backup when asked from there it reboots and nothing? ???

Go to mobiletechvideos.com there is a three part video on how to install a rom, what you are doing is completely wrong ... Before you do the steps in the video you're gonna have to do the fix I posted earlier.
Sorry for being a little rude earlier. I just assumed that was your issue cause that's all I've seen this week for some reason.

why are you moving roms to your external sd? you need to flash from the internal sd

Im new at this I was told to download then move to ex.sd card them install

External sd is not mounted in cwm. You need to use internal

It's all in the videos, just make sure you mod the 3e recovery first or you will get a signing error and the install will fail.

Ok does it say how to mod 3e rec. I'm not sure how to do that

My phone cant download

Hi everyone, whenever i try to download a rom or anything from mediafire or anything. Always unsuccessful,so i try again and still the same result, i reflash the rom again and the same thing happened all the roms i try also cannot, anyone help

install an android download manager and try again...

U can't download from mediafire on mobile..u need an additional browser like dolphin browser in which u have to change the user agent to desktop...then there will e no problem!

Press 'Request Desktop View' if an option so exists in your browser. Else as Manvendra05 said go for download of dolphin browser. Make sure you are not running any FWs

Camera problems error handler.

hey guys help me I'm really in trouble the camera in my android mobile is not working when I open the camera app it says error handler I re flashed the firmware through odin still it says that also if I flash any other custom rom it says force close camera app.you think it is a hardware problem please help me also can you tell me how to fix it if it is just a firmware problem. Thanks man !

The camera worked for a day and stopped again now I have no idea what is happening. I will try to put the latest stock again and see if it works.

Having the same problem on my camera...cm7/ics/jb not working also..havent tried to flash stock on odin..how did you solve it?thanks.

Had same problem on stock. It was due to sd card corrupt.. Try replacing the sd card

I was on custom when this thing occur..and still flashing different ones but non of them solve it..is sd card really have something to do with this camera problem?

[Q] Flash player 11 woes

I've been tooling around the forums trying to find a viable solution to get flash to work on my P970 with no luck at all. I've tried many different apk's, fixing permissions, installing and un installing with no luck at all. I also understand that adobe is no longer supporting flash for devices running 4.0+.
Any pointers that I may have missed? Thanks for your help in advance!

Already checked themes and apps section? I think there was a flashable version of FP somewhere

Haven't been able to find anything yet... I have checked the forums up and down and no cigar. Have you had luck with getting flash to mate with cyanogen? Maybe there's something you did that I haven't thought of.

[APP] Official ICS google search

Please I downloaded google now on ics official v30b and it worked but i found it useless for me especially it hangs i uninstalled it and went to google play to download google search and the play told me that incompatible to my phone

Also I got tts force close which known as extra error of this operation

Flash ICS gapps it might solve your problem but I'm not sure.
Never mind that, i just saw you are using stock rom.

If it does not work the first time you may need to do a factory reset first.
All gapps versions need to be installed through cwm recovery tho.
