Hello folks, recently I've installed slim bean 2.7. I wanted to change the dpi . It is assumed to have an option in settings > interface > general ui to change DPI. But in slim bean 2.7 there is no such option. Now how can I do that? Any idea?

Hi guys !
Just installed CM9 , but apparently its in a tablet UI. Is it possible to change it to look like a phone UI like the nexus 7?

I am on AOKP, not sure if cm9 is the same.
See this at AOKP thread

Std Phone UI = 240 dpi (v. Tablet UI = 160), but any dpi from 161 & above should get you the Phone UI look (ie. status bar on top).

Having non standard dpi may cause market issue.
So put at 240 or 160 will be a better choice (instead of 161)

You can use LCD Density Modder or change it via build.prop. The default is 160 which is the tablet UI and for the phone it is 240
Sent from my GT-P1000N using xda premium
Just use Paranoid ROM
U can change tablet/phablet/phone ui without changing the dpi/lcd density in build.prop

I use the original rom with firmware 2.3.6
How did you change the dpi? Did you use an app? Or you modify the script?
Sent from my GT-I9001 using xda premium
I have root browser lite used to edit build.prop
I see. Well you need to flash an AOKP rom or Slim Rom and change the DPI values in there. Try and see if it changes.

And how do I that?
Root your phone. The flash the latest CWM. Then download SlimBean in the Development. Follow instructions. I can't post the links because I'm using the xda app

Hy everybody! Is there any way to get the Galaxy Note's jellybean lockscreen in our SGSA? I know, there is a way to use it, if we change the dpi to 160, but I want to use my phone in 240.
Thank you.

Faced that problem ...
Open app settings in xposed and set systemui.apk dpi to 80-100 whichever suits best and reboot ...
Or you could wait till I add that feature in aoxp....

Basically, you can't. If you need Tablet mode in AOSP, you need to unlock it (search it at PA Porting Guide).

Might Work
CHANGE ro.sf.lcd_density to 128 if display is 480x854 (earlier density 240) and 192 if earlier lcd_density was 320 .. i know coz im using stock ics n dis gives me complete tablet ui.. all apps in tablet mode, though some apps would need increased dpi dat u can get using app settings
See the date of thread man.its an year old.
By the way galaxy mini as default density of 120
